  1. I agree, I thought all 3 of them were overpaid until I saw their contracts that had easy outs this year. I think all 3 are gone as well.
  2. What he has left in the tank is up for debate, but to say he will screw up our locker room is ridiculous.
  3. So he basically designed it years ago, but didn't actually make this exact trophy. Get over it lady, people are pathetic these days.
  4. Houston moved him around quite a bit too didn't they?
  5. True, but the cap will be much higher in a few years and even a 5 year deal usually only has about 3ish guaranteed years so can cut bait if needed. It really all comes down to contracts and if it makes sense. Watt can be signed now, others will have to wait and could be signed by their own team anyway.
  6. If the price is right then I would be on board, but I'm sure he will have plenty of suitors. There's younger very good d-lineman available this year as well - that's the route I would take if The Bills decide to spend some cash on one higher up free agent.
  7. He was due 17million, dont think anyone would take in that salary with his age
  8. Agree, plus he's not getting the 17m he was due in Houston. Maybe 10-12ish I would guess. Thats a Jefferson and a half of Butler
  9. They can manipulate the cap and make the base salary low this year and higher in future years. Im usually not a fan of this, but the cap is going to balloon up in a year or 2 so won't be too big of a deal to do so. I would do it for a top pass rusher for sure.
  10. I think 14m a year is too high for him, which is what it would roughly be for a franchise tag too. I dont think a short term contract would be smart either, would rather keep the cap hit lower this year for him and higher later when the cap goes up.
  11. First of all who you know is alive and well everywhere in every type of job. Second, an NFL coach's son is probably pretty smart when it comes to football. Imagine being tought the X's and O's from an NFL coach since they were a young kid.
  12. Yup, arguing before free agency is just a waste of time. I have a feeling Beane is going to me more active than people expect too. Also, the draft rankings/mock draft spots that are coming out now are going to change a ton in the next couple months. There's always big risers and fallers because the media doesn't know what they are talking about
  13. Drafting a RB at 30 is not comparable at all to drafting one in the top 10. Im not saying I want a RB here, but its not a bad spot to take one if you think he's elite.
  14. Completely agree, it has gotten super old. Him and the Pats beat up on us for years because we weren't good enough. Did I like it? No, I couldn't stand it, but there's no reason for people to act salty. Hopefully Allen and The Bills can turn the tides for the next 15+ years.
  15. They only have to deal with a couple of crappy months in Buffalo and can live wherever they want in the offseason. Training camp through November isn't that bad. (And I hate the cold and snow just as much as you)
  16. Agree and the NFL drags out their offseason schedule worse than any other league to make it feel even longer. Free agency is a 5 week wait, then the draft is another month and a half after that.
  17. Completely agree, I wasnt sure who I wanted either but I am loving this. The media sucks off the Chiefs and Mahomes and the players and fans have gotten super cocky. Brady is off the Pats, so he doesn't bother me that much anymore.
  18. Wasn't sure who I wanted to win before the game started. I obviously dislike Brady, but Chiefs have gotten pretty cocky lately, would live to see them get blown out now.
  19. Agree, I think he needs to take a pay cut or be cut. Just dont think his injury should be part of the decision.
  20. He was dealing with a high ankle sprain, that takes time to get better and can linger. I dont think that he should be labeled as injury prone just because of that - has been pretty healthy otherwise.
  21. Get him signed, he should be the #1 priority. RT has been a mess for years
  22. I agree with both of you and think that this offseason is going to be a lot busier for The Bills than people expect. I'm usually not a big fan of kicking the salary cap down the road that handicap's future years, however, this an extremely unusual year for the cap. It dropped a lot, but in future years it's going to balloon like crazy after this covid crap calms down and the new TV deal gets done. Could be looking at going from 175-185 million this year to 210-220 million next year. The cap never increases like that, so I don't think it would hinder The Bills much if at all. Cap casualties like you said and team friendly one year deals will be there for the taking as well.
  23. This is a big QB carousel year and there will definitely be multiple fringe starters like him available for a backup spot. The Bills should definitely pick one up if possible. If Allen goes down for the season, The Bills are f#cked, but if he went down for 4 or 5 games a decent backup would valuable to make sure they could stay in the playoff race. Im going to say no on a "Mariotta type deal" though
  24. Agree if Allen goes down for the season then we are screwed, but what if its for 4, 5 or 6 games? They need someone who could keep them afloat until he returned. Dont break the bank, but a backup is important if something like that ever happened. An upgrade is needed
  25. Take a quick look at the 1st round picks the last 15 years or so, its pretty crazy how many players don't work out. Some are complete busts, some are just average and some are just meh. There's obviously some studs, but much less than one would think.
