  1. Seriously?? Has averaged under 4 ypc in four of his six seasons in the league - 2x in both Jax and TB, including last season. Also is 28 and that is definite downside age for a RB. We could always give him a locker next to Shaq Lawson!
  2. Aaron Williams was the CB from TX who transitioned to S
  3. OK I believe you may have Bills 2022 6th Rd pick Christian Benford, CB Villanova confused with Bills 2022 3rd Rd pick, Terrel Bernard, LB Baylor
  4. Zay trusting in his barber's Process! BMHOF winners Process and the DooRags
  5. Hyde started 33 games over 4 years with Packers. Never realized Poyer had 10 starts in his last 2 years in CLE and won the starting safety role out of training camp in 2016. He had a season ending internal organ injury in game 6 that year.
  6. Might have had something to do with his leaving 😂
  7. OJ Simpson 1975 season. 329 carries for 1817 yds (5.8 ypc) and 16 TDs. 129.8 ypg average. 28 receptions for 426 yds (15.2 ypc) and 7 TDs. 30.2 ypg average. In 14 games he generated 2243 yards and 23TDs!!! That's 160 ypg and 1.65 TDs per game.
  8. I think you did a great job and, coincidentally, they also appear to be in alphabetical order 😝
  9. This is why you don't draft a Californian, left-footed ranch dressing loving punter!!
  10. I lived through the Hank Bullough era and am always confused as to when Bills drafted Andre. It was same draft as Bruce in 1985 - so 2 HOFers in a single draft. Wow. Levy replaced Bullough midway through 1986 so Andre played 1.5 years with Bills prior to Levy arriving.
  11. Sorry to see Howard hang them up. A prince of a man imho. He is that unique person who can transplant himself to a new town and flourish. Left NYC area for Buff State and never moved back. Part of the reason he could do it is he never took himself too seriously - see his "foods never eaten" and "Howard picks the Bills" routines as examples. He was a steadying force in local Bills coverage. Jeremy White and him had real chemistry too. There is not a mean or vindictive bone in Howard's body. I will miss him. Jerry Sullivan was the counterpoint here - a transplant I wished back to RI many times.
  12. Yeah cuz that worked so well for Trubisky.
  13. @Chandler#81 Please correct spelling of his last name in the title. Yes #69 was a favorite of mine on those Chuck Knox / Fergie teams of the early 80s! RIP Conrad! Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
  14. It was 1968 and Joe Collier was fired after that Raiders game, the 2nd of the season. Harvey Johnson coached rest of 1968 - with their only win vs SB winning Jets team. Rauch was hired before 1969 season
  15. Diggs did in Minn as a 5th rd pick...just saying.
  16. I quit looking when you traded an UFA Saffold who is not under contract for 2023.
  17. OBD can get out of deal after 2024 with $52.4mm having been spent from 2022-2024 seasons and with a dead cap hit of $7.4 mm that could be split over 2025 and 2026 seasons. My belief is OBD was moving on from Poyer anyways after last off season drama and his 2022 injury hampered season - not sure how Von contract affected that decision. Why would you not blame players releases on Josh's contract? What if Josh gets hurt next year and is out? - will Beane be blamed for giving him the keys to the castle?
  18. So the cologne name is actually derived from the hat many cowboys wore - a Stetson. And there is a Stetson Univ in Florida.
  19. Draft Stetson Bennett as our backup. @TC in St. Louis I will....erggghhh Stetson will drink to that!!!!
  20. I thought that was just a later check down to MVS
  21. So guess it should be interesting to see how millennials and those that follow mindsets change as they will likely have a 70 year old retirement date
  22. Hasn't played A down in NFL since 2018 and has a troubling criminal history. And only had 16 starts in his first 2 years. Easy pass for me.
  23. Just remember that Marv Levy lied about his age in 1986 when he was hired by Bills as he was already 61 and thought being >60 would hurt his chances. Have to believe Polian knew as he and Levy worked together in Montreal in CFL and Chicago in USFL. Ageism might be the most prevalent form of discrimination in our society today.
  24. Was on BBMB and even an ESPN Bills forum before this one. Does anyone remember a poster Borumir from either of those boards?
