My take is that if his cause of death was due to something that was voluntary and avoidable or a decision that many others may encounter and have to make for themselves, that for the sake of public safety, the cause should be investigated and fully exposed so others can make a better informed decision. If it saves even one life it would be criminal not to do it.

Lol no, he was implying that his kneeling led to his benching but it was his terrible QB play that got him benched. How bad was he? To provide perspective, he was worse than Blain Gabbert. His protest wasn’t until after he was determined to be a bad QB. So the implication that the NFL world (fan base included) couldn’t stomach a protest but can Watson’s terrible behavior is re-writing history and obviously very wrong. If they did incorporate this, I think you’d see a lot more drafted kickers 🤣🤣 A team without a big legged kicker, would essentially be conceding OT, so teams would pay more. Maybe enough to attract more athletes to the position. A few epic FG showdowns in the books and kicker could be considered a premium position. They are already the leading point scorers. Incredible as always Shaw. Just rewatched the game and while I was a nervous wreck throughout, JA was ice. I completely agree that he is maturing before our eyes and there is no limit to his potential. Also, what a game by McKenzie! If he can replace/step in for Beas, we are in amazing shape! Now and for the future.

I was thinking the same thing. Whenever Cole is the focus, the ball comes out quickly and Cole always seems to be open. A couple of those plays and all of a sudden the rest of the O gets switched on. However, when he’s not part of the game plan, we have games like this one. IMO Cole is the key to our O. We need him involved regularly and begin the search for a comparable physical talent to groom behind him.

I think that’s more being a professional and publicly supporting your team and team’s management. I believe the OP and the player he referenced (I think I saw the same clip) was saying in the locker room, behind closed doors, the players can tell right away. They may say supportive things in public, but in the locker room, the real feelings are expressed.

I apologize for not reading all the pages of content before this post, so not sure if any of this has been said yet. Obviously racism/discrimination cannot be tolerated, but no one thinks Gruden is a racist or homophobe. He has the only out gay player on his team and there’s been ZERO issues with the way he’s welcomed Nassibs courage. No one ever accused him of ever discriminating. All they have are decade old emails and the assumption that a negative opinion about an individual or an individual circumstance means that he was REALLY talking about EVERYONE who falls within the same demographic. Sports “Journalists” are just self important Karen’s. They get each other whipped into a self serving frenzy, demanding this and outraged at that so they can get clicks and retweets. Not sure about all fans, but this stuff is about as important to the game as those super tight reaction shots after every single play. Just show the field!! I’m sure I’ll get blasted for this, but if you look at peoples motive, you can figure out why they are behaving the way they are. These Sports Karen’s want attention and clicks. There is no benefit to being objective or dig to find the facts and pertinent nuggets to understand the situation.
