Here’s some context on the topic. Linked below. And regardless, it was an incorrect fact check. We can discuss the nuance, but Trump wasn’t wrong & her fact check was quite literally incorrect. https://www.dailysignal.com/2024/08/06/under-gov-tim-walz-babies-born-alive-in-botched-abortions-were-left-to-die-then-he-removed-reporting-requirements/amp/

Linsey Davis fact check on abortion was wrong. Trump referenced letting the baby die after they’re born. This has happened 8 times in Minnesota since Tim Walz changed language in their legislation to require only comfort care to be provided to a baby that survives an abortion, instead of life-saving care.

Politically, yea. I think they’d be fairer to her than you think .. similar to the CNN debate. Also, I don’t think you know what free speech means.. not sure why you keep bringing that up in this context.

“Deal with these networks” = Don’t agree to debates/interviews with people who hate you. I forgot, there’s libs in here, and your first inclination is an authoritarian wielding of power.

Republicans need to be smarter moving forward. If they don’t blacklist ABC after this, then they deserve outcomes like we saw last night. Theres bias.. and then there’s egregious bias. We saw the latter. I won’t mince words. Last night went about as well as it could for Harris. Trump came across poorly and she never had to deviate from platitudes and attack lines. The GOP needs to take a long hard look at the political landscape and how they deal with these networks moving forward.

Well… That was an ambush. Trump took the bait and was off his game all night. Came across defensive & angry as the debate was somehow a referendum on a man who hasn’t been in office for four years. Kamala was on the offense, made very easy by the line of questioning from ABC, along with the absolutely unprofessional actions of the moderators. One of the most disgraceful performances by a news network at this level I think I’ve ever seen in my life. Republicans would be wise to blacklist ABC News from this moment forward. That said… what happened, happened.. and Trump needs to hope the news cycle moves on quick and he can get back to having the momentum he had pre-debate. Kamala didn’t do much of anything to educate voters.. nor was she ever pressed to by the moderators. But she came across far more coherent in her answers. My only critique of her is I have no idea who coached her to be so emotive with her facial cues as Trump was speaking. Extremely off-putting to anyone who isn’t predisposed to root for her. The Abdul line was classic Trump, but unfortunately the rest of the debate - for him - was him arguing with David Muir and having to deal with botched fact checks from Linsey Davis in real time. Especially egregious out the gate with the abortion fact check where Northam is on video saying that and Tim Walz did remove protections in Minnesota to save babies born alive after attempted abortions - leading to 8 documented cases of them being made comfortable as they died, as opposed to being required to be given life saving medical treatment. This is what Trump dealt with all night. But he didn’t handle it well. Remains to be seen how polling changes, if at all. The betting markets have.

We dominated Arizona after 1.5 quarters and in fluky fashion almost lost. Miami beat Jacksonville and in fluky fashion, won.

Von Miller proves the doubters wrong
SCBills replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Von looks like he did on Sunday, against Miami, he may very well come down with another 1-2 sacks. The only reason he didn't have a multi-sack day on Sunday was due to Kyler escaping, along with us mistakenly slow rushing most of the first half. Tua is not Kyler in terms of mobility and their OL isn't very good. Let's all hope Von, Rousseau, Jones and Oliver play to their abilities, because that will help Dorian, Cam, Rapp & Hamlin immensely. -
Beat Miami on Thursday Night and I'm right there with you.
-
Lol.. Miami looked awful and Jacksonville literally fumbled the game away. You can think Miami is the 4th best team but to say "based solely on Week 1 results" is a hilarious take.

Von Miller proves the doubters wrong
SCBills replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is absolutely wild to me that some people want to pretend like Von Miller dog walking the Tackle back into Kyler Murray shouldn't count as a sack. Some of y'all gotta let that hate in your heart go.. not able to see things rationally. -
Week 2 - Bills at Dolphins - Game Week Thread
SCBills replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Who was Campbell going at on the Jags OL? It seems, money aside, the Bills did want to get stronger on the interior against power rushers.. leading to the release of Morse and moving McGovern to Center. -
Biggest difference in our division is the non-common opponents. We play Ravens and Chiefs, whereas the Dolphins play Raiders and Browns, Jets have Steelers and Broncos.
-
Not sure what to take from the BUF/AZ game.. Our Offense looked dominant against a bad defense and our defense was as bad as it's ever looked for one half and then dominated the other half. Chiefs look like the class of the AFC at this point, shocking, I know. BAL was outplayed most of the game and while they almost stole it at the end, their OL looks like a massive liability and Lamar can't play like that every game.. he won't make it to Week 10. CIN is a bad vibes team. I'm not exactly sure how good Joe Burrow really is and there's a lot of "me first" going on in that WR room. I didn't watch any of the Dolphins game, but I think they're probably a similar team to us and JAX is who they are.. an ok team that just can't get it together. Jets looked bad... and they'll probably get to our game at 4-1 or 3-2 at worst, but Aaron Rodgers arm still looks 30, but his body looks old.. get him off his spot and/or hit him a few times and he looks washed. Their defense lacks pass rush without a Bryce Huff/Hassan Reddick out there to compliment Quinnen Williams and I have no idea what happened to their run defense but that was a mess. I expected them to lose.. I didn't expect the game to be over at halftime.

Sounds good to me. According to those breaking down the game, Brown & Dawkins were dominant Week 1. Some of y'all thought we were retaining him for 12-15M!? Nah.. that was never happening. The options were let him walk or sign him to a contract like this. I can understand wanting to let him walk for that money, but it wasn't an "overpay". People are typically fine throwing big money at a skill position guy, but having a 18M per year weapon doesn't matter much if you're having to run around like Lamar Jackson due to a neglected OL. Hopefully we show Miami that it was a mistake to neglect their OL on Thursday Night as well..

Week 2 - Bills at Dolphins - Game Week Thread
SCBills replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Also of note .. Dolphins without Chubb and OBJ. We all knew this, but those are two guys they are counting on, who aren’t going to be out there Thursday Night. -
4-6 weeks sounds about what everyone was expecting. It’s going to be up to our DL to get the Defense through this tough gauntlet without Taron and while we get our Safety situation figured out. Luckily Bernard and the two outside corners are all really good. Wouldnt be a Bills season without top tier defenders missing a ton of time.

Week 2 - Bills at Dolphins - Game Week Thread
SCBills replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dolphins OL looks like it could be a legitimate weak link for them this year. I don't have a ton of faith in our LB's and Safeties, but I do have a lot of faith in our outside CB's and our DL. We saw what the DL looked like when we stopped slow rushing Kyler.. Tua is nowhere near as mobile and I'd tell Rousseau and Von to go out there and hunt Thursday Night. Going to need our DL to hit Tua and disrupt his timing. On Offense, as long as Allen's left hand isn't a huge issue, I think this Offense looked fantastic against AZ and I'm pretty sure they left some stuff out of the game-plan that will be displayed on Thursday Night. Namely more Kincaid & Samuel involvement & hopefully less predictable run plays. -
I think this is well stated. It’s one thing to boo in stadium .. when the jersey comes off, this is a bridge too far (imo) - fully understanding that the average NFL fan is making a fraction of what these guys make and is essentially funding these contracts they get by choosing to spend money on the NFL. It doesn’t give you a right to do this though.
-
First reply is from an X-Ray Tech telling him his post doesn’t make any sense.
-
Ok.. and the Dolphins got lucky to win given an Etienne fumble at the goal line. We were unlucky to be in a close game with mind numbing mistakes being the only thing to stop us on offense and giving up a kick off return for a TD.
-
For all the worry of Allen running (and he may have to deal with a bruise/minor break for a few weeks due to that) those pocket hits like what Stafford just barely avoided are what will take a QB out.
-
This Stafford performance in the second half is amazing.
