Ravens/Texans, Christmas Day Game 2 (no Bills talk please)
SCBills replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s not the MVP .. and it’s honestly annoying to me that some want to pretend he is. But for those that want an MVP debate, Lamar is giving them ammo today. -

Texans doing their best to give Lamar a late season MVP surge -
Didn’t realize Houston was only a game back of Baltimore. Couldn’t they conceivably get the 3 if they win today and Steelers lose next week / Baltimore wins next week? With CIN playing PIT, not unlikely the way PIT is fading.

Chiefs @ Steelers (no Bills talk in here please)

I wouldn’t say it’s the bigger game, because the 1 seed is such a massive advantage and KC could potentially cakewalk to the AFC CG now, but given the realistic option.. yea, a Texans win would be massive to even the playing field. -

KC’s Defense is just consistent. They show up week in / week out. -

Great point made by Burleson about Pickens giving up on the route there -

Steelers are frauds but if refs don’t call penalties on their OL (which they don’t in the playoffs), they now have so many healthy weapons in Kelce, Gray, Pacheco, Hunt, Worthy, Brown, Hopkins etc., to go with a top tier Defense. We all knew they’d round into shape around this time.. and it certainly seems to be happening. -

ABSOLUTELY NOT (imo) First off.. Ravens flock on social media are insane. Second.. if you’ve given up on the 1 seed, like most of us have, we want the Steelers to clinch the North and steer us away from having to play both Baltimore and Kansas City. Go Steelers -

Genuinely wondering if the Chiefs are doing harm to the NFL… I don’t say this in terms of ratings or popularity, but the level of rage I see against officiating in their games on Twitter/X from people that are just random fans or NFL accounts can’t be good for the league in the long run. -

Yup. I guess people can cling to the 1 seed hopes, but I’m done with it. Next best thing is giving the Chiefs a matchup against the Ravens off the bye and keeping our path limited to only one of them. -

So what’s been billed as the best day of football ever has so far given us a blowout CFP game and a Chiefs rerun we’ve literally seen 13 times this season. -

He lost Nico in that game on the long TD, and then once that happened, he was awful and we made a game of it throwing to Mack Hollins as WR1 -

Im pretty much done caring about this. At least I can root for the Steelers to maul Lamar next. Was conflicted earlier in the day. -

Congrats NFL, now the final 3 weeks of the AFC regular season means next to nothing. Hope all the ref bs throughout the season was worth it. -

Ok, well that’s a pick if Worthy isn’t there so not sure what the announcers are going on about. -

Gotta say, Chris Jones gets a 2/10 for theatrics. Mahomes had everyone going all week. Jones can’t even get some drama going for a few minutes before being a wrecking machine next drive? -

Is Stroud for real with that? Just throw it out of the end zone. -

If KC holds on.. NFL made their bed with the sketchy Chiefs wins earlier in the season to get to this point. Buffalo, and pretty much every other team once they’ve pretty much locked in where they’re at, should just sit anyone remotely unhealthy and then pseudo-forfeit final week of the season for faux bye weeks. Good luck with the ratings in the final few weeks of the season. -

Schultz drops the pass after his defense made a big stop and KC makes them pay. Turning point of the game. -

Schultz has to catch that. Stroud definitely let his emotions go on the injury, but what’s most important is how does he bounce back… and he made a great throw in the face of pressure. -

Massive momentum shift after the injury. Huge credit to the Texans Defense there.
