  1. Bears OL not doing him many favors. Cant remotely even attempt to get him a 3rd and manageable.
  2. It’s honestly wild that Trump might win again when the media is this biased ALL. THE. TIME.
  3. Regardless of what comes of this and/or the veracity of it … our media are truly the enemy of the people. This is essentially admitting retribution for a debate Democrats got upset over.. and then doing so in an over the top biased fashion, allowing all of Kamala’s false statements to slide, while some of their “fact checks” ended up being incorrect. It’s borderline election interference and Americans should loathe our media members with every fiber of their being.
  4. It’s Tua’s decision and more power to him if he wants to come back, but man.. the Dolphins are basically held hostage at this point now. Theres really no way to properly build a team around a guy who’s a routine tackle away from missing multiple games at any moment and will have the retirement conversation brought up everytime time it happens. Tough spot for all involved.
  5. Because, of course they did…
  6. Not going to make any proclamations about the Jets after one week against an elite team. They should get Mike Williams more into the mix tomorrow to help out Garrett Wilson. Breece Hall is a beast. Rodgers arm is still elite. That said.. their OL better hold up because while Rodgers arm is still a cannon, the rest of his body looks washed. Hes looking to be a pure pocket passer at this point in his career. On defense, if they don’t figure out the Reddick situation, they let Huff walk.. Quinnen Williams is very good, but the rest of that DL is now very dependent on the development of Jermaine Johnson and Will McDonald. I suspect Tua will come back in a few weeks, but the Dolphins are the same team they’ve always been. Maybe OBJ and Chubb help them down the line, but they don’t solve the fact that they are soft in the trenches and good teams can exploit that.
  7. Kamala won the debate. Trump won the war. This is literally the only thing that anyone remembers from that night and we can joke all we want, but Trump just has to find a way to be palatable to some suburban moms who like his policies but hate his personality. This story, however it’s reached them, will be on their mind when they go to the voting booth. Everyone wants diversity and compassion until you’re worried it might be coming to your subdivision.
  8. Nah.. Tyreek Hill is a still a Top 5 WR in this league. Worthy is going to be good if he can stay healthy. His expected usage will be much higher than KC likely expected with Hollywood potentially done for the year. We’ll see how he holds up.
  9. Whenever Cole Bishop is ready, he needs to be on the field. The guy was drafted in the second round and was routinely an impact game changer for that Utah Defense. Hamlin & Rapp seem solid, which is fine. Bishop can be a playmaker back there.
  10. We came into the year with Milano, TB, Williams, Spector, Ulofoshio, Andreeson and Morrow. I can’t really fault him.. He’s doing what I think we should do - Draft an athletic LB in the middle rounds every year and keep developing depth that can eventually take over if we lose a guy. I think we’re fine with Williams and Spector until Bernard comes back.. especially if we go heavy dime most games - but if one of them goes down, we’re going really deep into the depth.
  11. How do Von’s incentives work? We would have to pay those out on next years cap, right? I think we save 8Mish if we move off of him next year. Although the way he’s playing, it probably makes more sense to keep him if he continues this.. even if only as a situational pass rusher.
  12. I think they’re a good, not great team. They’re going to struggle with any team who has strong OL/DL trench play. Turns out you’ve got to neglect somewhere if you want to pay for some flashy objects.. they chose the OL and interior DL to hang out to dry. Hoping Tua’s quick release & a fast timing offense offsets the need for strong OL play .. and hoping they get up on teams and can just let Phillips, Robinson and eventually Chubb rush.
  13. I honestly can’t stop watching this..
  14. Tyreek down the field with Kupp underneath would be disgusting. I think he makes sense for a lot of teams to send them a 2nd Rounder ala Diggs. Still an elite player and unless he starts getting hurt, I think he’s got at least this year and next year at an elite level.
  15. Bills have been really high on Smoot. Hopefully we can get him back against his former team next Monday Night and have a legit 4 man rotation on the edge. A lot of us were hoping to get 75% of Von pre-injury… He’s looking more and more like we may get at least 90%. I found myself watching him off the edge like I did that short stint when we first got him.. Legitimately thinking he can smoke the Tackle every time.
  16. Checking X and a lot of people around the Chiefs think he won’t play this year at all.
  17. I think the Bills should just stock up on fast/athletic linebackers and developmental corners every draft. Day 2 & Day 3 type picks. I think they have a specific prototype and if you fit that, they can coach you up to be successful. Spector is a great fit for this defense and I think he’s going to play well. Only issue with him is staying healthy. (Shocker) *That Bernard picture is extremely uplifting.. hopefully he’s only out a few weeks.
  18. Agree - The strength of this Defense, given the injuries, is very clearly top tier cornerback play and a strong defensive line. Just have to make it work at linebacker and safety. Would love to see if Bishop can push for a bigger role during this semi-bye.
  19. Bills Conerbacks: Douglas Benford Ingram Elam Johnson Lewis Legitimately two deep at each position If/when we get our Safety situation sorted out, this Secondary could be something else. Hamlin & Rapp look solid through two games, we know Edwards is a dependable player from his time in KC and Bishop showed off some serious athleticism at the end of the game breaking up that corner end zone pass.
  20. The thing with Cook has always been that he has WR skills as a RB. In the CMC, Kamara mold. He’s starting to show that.. Thats the type of RB that you, at least, give thought to extending. Especially given he barely had any usage in college. Im not saying we should.. but if he keeps this up, you’ve got to think about it.
  21. Cam Lewis making it so the coaches need to figure out a way to keep him on the field.
  22. Some of it is bad luck.. Also, you can get really talented linebackers in RD3 & RD5 for a myriad of reasons… The position is devalued and the player is raw (Dorian Williams). Or.. because they’re undersized (Terrel Bernard & Matt Milano) Undersized players are always going to be a bigger injury risk. Taron Johnson falls into that category as well. If the Bills want to keep going this route with the Defense, they’d be wise to draft a mid-round linebacker, like they do Day 3 corners, every year. Keep a deep stable of young guys ready to fill in. I thought Williams & Spector looked really good out there. Problem now is, who’s behind them. The other injuries just happen.. it is what it is. Daquan, Von, Rousseau in past years. We don’t even typically play heavy usage on the DL.
  23. This is exactly what I thought.. going to have both Bernard & Milano coming back with two games left in the season. (hopefully Bernard’s isn’t that severe, but we’re also the Bills and he plays defense, so….)
