  1. And the Bills were poised to make a 21-3 halftime lead turn into a down to the wire game with Baltimore on the ropes if Brady doesn’t dial up the most absurd play call in years. It was 21-10, mid-way through the 3rd, and we were getting 4+ yards a play moving the ball from the 20 to midfield before that. Baltimore gets up on people, and then they struggle to find the kill shot. At 21-17 or even 21-13, that game doesn’t go the way it did. Luckily for them, our own OC turned the gun on ourselves and did it for them.
  2. This is where I am. “Bring on the Texans”. Does this team bounce back from the worst loss they’ve had in years? Did we find an answer in Keon Coleman to be a guy we can lean on if teams take away Shakir and we stay confused as to how to use Kincaid and Samuel? Is Damar Hamlin still starting when he has proven to be a below average starter and was utterly dominated by the Ravens - easily being the worst player we had on the field last night. We can’t just make guys healthy at LB/Slot, but we can make changes at Safety.
  3. Probably would help if we don’t run him into the side of the defense that the Ravens have overloaded, plus Hamilton down in the box. Our run looks are hilariously obvious at times. They drafted him though, because he a very good receiving back that fits into our offense that throws to the backs.
  4. Doesnt seem Herculean to me. Im not in love with McDermott, but what Baltimore did, isn’t happening again for the second time in a season. Especially when, on paper, if we see them again, it could be with Milano, Bernard, Johnson and an experienced Bishop manning the spots held by Williams, Spector, Lewis and Hamlin that they targeted all game. Id also take my chances with Playoff Allen vs Playoff Lamar.
  5. If Rashee Rice is out for the year, on top of already losing Hollywood Brown (likely) for the year, it seems a given that the Chiefs will trade for a WR. Right now we effectively have Shakir and rookie Keon Coleman. Thats it. I don’t know what Samuel’s deal is, but he’s a complete non-factor out there so far and MVS/Hollins are depth WR’s. If Samuel can’t be anything for us (turf toe or whatever), we’re in pretty much the same position KC is in and it would be malpractice to not trade for a WR.
  6. I’m not even struggling with the loss. If we got blown out with no answer, I probably would be .. but out of half, we looked poise to get right back in the game. What I’m struggling with is the Brady playcall that lost us the game, mid 3Q, only down 11 and driving.. getting positive yardage every play. Im not sure one playcall has ever made me so annoyed in my life .. and it’s still not sitting right with me today.
  7. Fwiw.. I haven’t seen an OC get cooked on social media for a play call like this in a long time…. Every talking head wants everyone to know how idiotic that play was, in that moment. And…. Good. That needs to never happen again.
  8. Was Arizona lost from the jump? We likely have two different views of momentum then.. because what you allude to was not the defense out of the half that got two straight stops. Then Brady decided to throw on a Ravens hat. Sudden change, Baltimore scores. Game. Blouses.
  9. This analogy makes zero sense. We have no prior issue with beating Baltimore in a big game & unlike KC, we had momentum when we called this trick play. It wasn’t called out of desperation. It was called due to stupidity.
  10. I could not disagree more with this. At 17-21, with our Defense figuring things out and Baltimore realizing they’re gagging on another close game… it’s absolutely not lost for Buffalo. And up until Brady spazzed out, I think anyone watching felt a Bills TD was inevitable. I know from reading Mina Kimes reply section about the trick play that Ravens fans definitely felt that inevitable.
  11. I’m not really in the mood to defend our coaches after that game, but what constitutes a big game that we fail in over and over? Baltimore in Week 4 on SNF is apparently that, but not the past few times we’ve beaten KC in KC?
  12. There didn’t look to be a ton of torque on his throwing arm like in the Jets game a few years ago. Looked more like he threw his arm out when the ball was stripped. Probably sore, and doesn’t feel great for a few days, but initially doesn’t look like a structural issue.
  13. Shakir is very good. Coleman impressed me tonight. He catches that deep shot 8/9 times out of 10 and if teams want to play him single coverage on the outside, im throwing those sidelines back shoulder/jump ball an obnoxious amount of times. The rest of the WR room (Samuel/MVS/Hollins) look to have failed their first big test.
  14. Not entirely upset by that loss. The team took a punch and bounced back. Then Brady self-KO’d our team when to anyone watching, it felt like 17-21 with time still left in the 3rd was inevitable. I do think we’re seeing that “everyone eats” might need a counter punch. Keon turning into Tee Higgins in the 2nd Half was good to see. Brady needs to seriously reflect on the fact he lost us the game tonight. McDermott needs have a long hard look at this roster and decide how much longer he wants to keep our 4th string Safety in a starting role. Bass is a joke right now and we can’t trust him to make anything over 40 yards.
  15. Bright Spots: -Keon Coleman (even with the drop) -We took a punch and had the ball at midfield, mid-way through the 3rd Q only down 11, with our Defense getting two straight definitive stops The Bad: -Brady lost us the game -Bass needs to be inactive & we need to sign a new kicker -Hamlin needs to go back to 4th Safety. Enough is enough with this feel good story.
  16. I don’t believe it’s a “fireable offense”, but it lost us the game and put our QB in harms way. He needs to own up to it and be better, because he was dominated by the Ravens DC most of the game. Big time learning moment … and he needs to learn quick.
  17. Id contend that they did, but then punched themselves in the face with that trick play and then never recovered.
  18. Meh.. I honestly don’t feel upset We had a chance, Brady turned into a spaz … and that was the game Team is done now
  19. Bass has to go We can’t deal with this all season At least with a scrap heap kicker, they won’t trust him to kick when we should be aggressive
  20. Just let Allen drop back .. every time we try to scheme up something it’s a friggin disaster. Free rushers all over the place.
  21. Ok.. looked good on that throw ha
  22. If Allen jacked up his arm due to Brady’s incompetence I will lose my ish
  23. Hes got to come off the field now. It was cute and all when we were 3-0… games are getting real now and he’s not a starting caliber player. Rapp/Bishop and make Edwards active.
  24. I almost can’t contain my rage towards Joe Brady for that play call
  25. We even draft a guy specifically to make those catches, and Game 4 he already drops one.
