Packers @ Eagles in Brazil - Sept 6 at 8:15pm
SCBills replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Going from an Arrowhead game to this garbage product 24 hours later in a country that could care less is such a stark difference. -

If this is your worry, it seems strange to be ok with a party remaining in power that has overseen the acceleration of BRICS. -
I don’t know how it would look in a Trump Presidency, but the fact we have a political party pushing a movement that includes this is one of the more interesting and exciting things I’ve seen as a millennial in politics..

Are they? Seems the entire Bush Administration now staffs MSNBC. Liz Cheney endorsing Colin Allred gives the game away.. These people were conservatives insofar as the party was beholden to corporate interests and the military industrial complex. Now the Democrats own those descriptors, so one by one, we see them following the $$$ and turning blue. -

They won’t be, but the NFL should be ashamed of themselves for this. -

We’re having a political realignment. Im sure it doesn’t bother you, but it should… The Republicans defecting to the left are doing so because Democrats are now the party of war and corporations. The Democrats defecting to the right are doing so to protect free speech and push back against government control. -

WR’s running the ball for TD’s is so hot right now. -

And Liz Cheney endorsed Ted Cruz challenger. The Cheney’s are loathed by the modern GOP and any holdovers that would be swayed by them just had their justification of Trump being a unique threat wiped away by Liz endorsing Dems down ballot. Makes sense. Trump is the most anti-war President we’ve had in recent memory and all the neocons have jumped ship to join the neolibs in the modern Democrat Party. -
Rousseau is another one. If he can avoid any random foot/ankle injuries, he may be in line top end EDGE money.

We knew Jalen Ramseys money from jump Still nothing on Spencer Brown

It should also be noted that while we may have some trepidation about the handling our WR room, this OL looks to be a well oiled machine. Drafting well. Developing well. Kromer is top notch at his craft. We now have 4/5 starters locked up for multiple years with two young tackles in the pipeline, a young G/C we’ve developed for two years now and a mid-round rookie C who played at the highest level in college.

Tee Higgins out here conspiring with Chase to force Mike Brown’s hand..
-
I don’t know… the Ravens had plenty of hype but anyone around the team knew they had one big issue… their OL. With where WR contracts are going, I’m going to hope we find something with the committee approach along with top end TE play, a good OL and RB room, then use another high draft pick on a WR.
-
With Van Demark and Grable being developed by Kromer, I wasn’t so sure this would happen. That said, while he does have some risk.. he’s an ascending player, already above average at his position and with the ceiling of elite RT.

Democrats finally realized that after all the machinations we’ve been through these past few months, that they are no longer viewed as the “protectors of democracy” … and because of that, any harsh sentence by Merchan to Trump would be rebuked by a public that the Harris campaign’s internals already show they are fading with.

I, for one, enjoy being lectured about misinformation when we have independent journalists forced to call out The Associated Press for repeated attempts to frame stories for the DNC & Harris/Walz campaign. Nevermind the nonstop onslaught of lies from our mainstream media on a litany of politically charged issues, The AP literally sets the journalistic guidelines to be used by local media around the country. This needs to stop. And this is far more dangerous to our democracy than the constant fear mongering from China’s simps about Russia. A thread… 🧵 This lie is so blatant that The AP had to delete it. But not before it had millions of impressions and was picked up by local media around the country, along with being parroted by Dem surrogates and the Harris/Walz campaign.

The chatter around the Worthy trade isn't rational
SCBills replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, Chiefs would have gotten him regardless.. unless we drafted him. Ironically, the Chiefs being physical with our WR’s in the Playoffs and clamping them with single coverage is probably why we avoided him. You can see it in our overall philosophy with Kincaid, Knox, Coleman, Hollins and MVS. Even Shakir and Samuel are thicker WR’s for the slot/gadget stuff we’ll run.- 388 replies

If the game can slow down for Williams, his athleticism and violence would be an absolute God-send for this Defense. Big “if” He has every tool in the toolbox you could ask for as a modern NFL Linebacker. But none of that matters if you can’t process what you’re seeing.
-
This is why a lot of people here wanted him. Clear outs and a weapon to help utilize Allen’s arm. If I had to guess, playing y’all is what scared us away from him and towards Coleman (and to a lesser extent, a Mack Hollins). We've watched our outside WR’s get clamped, beat up and out-physicaled in the playoffs by the Chiefs. Diggs very much included. So they went with bigger body more physical WR’s in Coleman, Hollins & MVS outside. Nobody has any idea what this new offense will look like for us, but I don’t think our FO/staff was interested in drafting a guy with Worthy’s build. Hes NOT Tyreek Hill.. that guy is a 1 of 1, but Worthy certainly looked the part last night.
