This time of year they're on the lookout for 8-12 similar-value payments from different people all within a short time frame. And if one of them puts anything related to fantasy or football in the description then it's another red flag. Payouts are easier to disguise. I got flagged for this a decade ago on PayPal (who own Venmo) for a March Madness pool. They saw all the buy-ins, froze the funds and then warned me about using their platform for gambling. I had the ability to proceed anyway as long as I denied the allegation, because they believe they've taken care of their gambling liability via the warning. All my Venmo transactions are set to private as the default, so I don't show up on anyone's feed. Trust is another thing, though.

You have your serious ideas, and then you have the idea to have fans recreate the 13 Seconds with Bills players. To be expected, I suppose.

Tug of war tournament. Each player (team leader) is at the front and has a team of fans behind him and they face off against another player's team. Each team could have their own colored arm band. Depending on the length of the rope you could have 20 fans on each side and these games usually last less than a minute so you could involve a lot of people very quickly.

Almost all friends I regularly meet up with these days are exclusively from college. Being active in a couple big student orgs helped with making said friends.

Media could have fluffed this up a bit but they were showing Von's true colors which I prefer. He's clearly trying to play it cool and not seem too excited. I actually like it. If everyone agreed on everything, especially the hot button issues, I would think there's something wrong with this place. With that said, if you think he's a troll the best course of action is to not respond whatsoever.

I remember Beane said he didn't plan to take all those lineman so early on in the last draft. He went BPA because he didn't feel there were dire needs and didn't want to miss out on that talent. Is CB a dire need now? I personally think it is, but in the first round I wonder if he'll go for BPA on his big board no matter the position. If he feels like he's reaching for CB I just don't see him doing it.
