  1. I’m not advocating for it. I’m arguing against the leagues solution. The penalty should be levied against the PLAYER, not against the TEAM.
  2. Relax Einstein. It’s a message board about a football team. It’s not the Kennedy assassination files. 😉 In the larger scheme of things does it really matter what the exact percentage is? While I’ve not sat through the seat selection presentation I’m pretty sure the Bills office is able to tell you whether the particular seat you’re considering is under the roof. No? And do you really care how many other seats are besides the one you’re sitting in? I apologize if I sound frustrated but I really don’t see how this is so important to anyone.
  3. A few, for sure, but less than you think. It’s quite common to install glazing pretty early on. It’s necessary to control the temperature and humidity inside the enclosed spaces so that more climate-sensitive materials can begin installation.
  4. Wait, you don’t think the architects know EXACTLY how many seats are under the roof? They most definitely do. And I’m pretty darn certain that’s where the Bills got the figure.
  5. Yes I’m sure the architects are part of some larger marketing conspiracy.
  6. There’s clearly no room for it anywhere! Seems to me that penalizing the team is the wrong solution. I’d suggest a four game suspension without pay…or worse.
  7. And so not letting them make some ridiculously juvenile gang sign does what exactly? Sounds to me like they need to change the end zone sign to “no room for gang affiliations”.
  8. Is the implication that there are some NFL players who are active members of a street gang? Really?
  9. How many times are we going to go over this? You cannot gauge the depth of the overhang from these photos. The stadium cross section drawings have been presented numerous times. The overhang extends out over the entirety of the upper deck. Period! (And because the upper deck has a larger circumference than the lower deck each row there has many more seats than the corresponding row in the lower deck.) Finally, Tottenham has an additional cantilevered extension of translucent material beyond the metal deck roof that covers the entirety of the seating bowl while still allowing diffused natural light to get to the natural grass field.
  10. I have to agree. That price doesn’t seem unreasonable when spread out over the many years of the PSL. Heck, that’s equivalent to only FIVE years of Sunday Ticket. 😂
  11. The street level view shows just how tall the new stadium is compared to the current stadium whose lower bowl is sunk down below street level.
  12. Ralph is cheap!
  13. Excellent….issue solved. 😊
  14. If you don’t want to sit in the elements then I’d suggest you buy seats that are under the roof. Issue solved.
  15. I'm not trying to be disrespectful but it's not about the number of rows. It's about the diameter of the circle and the number of seats. Each successive row that you go out from the center has more seats per row. It's geometry.
  16. Yes, round by round it changes for sure, but about the only somewhat predictable round is the First and maybe the second. After that, EVERY team is essentially picking what they believe are the best players available.
  17. How many times do we have to go o er this? The renderings are deceiving. The new stadium’s roof covers the entire upper deck….and the overhanging boxes cover more in excess of the roof. The Bills design gives fan the choice of sitting in the elements or not. There are people who like both! Tottenham is an English soccer stadium. The Hot Spurs play in excess of TWENTY home games a year, with a significant number during their rainy period of the year.
  18. I’m not taking 3rd string TE with my first round pick just because he’s the Best Player Available. And I seriously the doubt that the BPA will be a WR when we pick at 30.
  19. also….TE and WR essentially anyone on offense
  20. I think the entire premise is a false choice. Every year there are players that become a significant talent even without being taken in the top of the First Round. The league has plenty of them. I’ve said this before…the Bills need to upgrade their scouting department AND connect them with the coaching staff.
  21. True. My point is that there isn’t an independent investigation by the police or the court. Each side will conduct ‘research’ , more than ‘investigate’, to see what they can discover. …Which is why it’s called discovery, and not investigation.
  22. My experience with civil cases is that there’s very little ‘investigation’. It’s mostly just stacking up expert witnesses.
  23. A civil suit doesn’t involve the police. You’ll just have attorneys for each side asking questions (deposing) proposed witnesses from the opposing side. Those witnesses have to be listed and they may include expert witnesses who’ll testify to things like why people wait so long, etc.
  24. Houston, Dallas, Phoenix and Indianapolis rarely open the roof. And to be honest I can’t recall the other one.
