I knew it wouldn’t work out the way many preseason predictions had forecasted but it rarely does. However, my comment still stands….in general the Bills opponents have been WORSE than most people anticipated. In fact when it’s all over I don’t think there’ll be a SINGLE opponent that’s been BETTER, other than the Lions.
Not so fast…..The Bills have put together a really good record against a season that’s been overflowing with mediocre opponents. What was supposed to have been a daunting gauntlet of a schedule has pretty much fizzled, especially with the Jets imploding and the Dolphins losing Tua for a month. We are 1-2 against quality AFC opponents. Now I realize you can only play the teams that are on the opposing sideline but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here.
As others have said: enjoy the ride. But remember this has ALWAYS been about exorcising their playoff demons.
We can around and around on this for page after page, but until McD gets his team to a Super Bowl, let alone winning one, his legacy will be doomed as nothing better than a good….but not great coach. Period.
SoFi Stadium isn’t climate controlled. It’s actually outside. But, all of Southern California is pretty much ‘climate controlled’ so the difference is negligible. 😉
SoFi Stadium isn’t technically a dome. It’s a skylit canopy.
You’all must not have seen Men In Black. If you had you’d remember it was the little white girl with the astrophysicist books that was the real threat. 😉
She was sitting in the booth next to us at breakfast the other day and I have to say she never once mentioned it. 😉 Of course, we spent the entire meal trying NOT to make eye contact.
I’m guessing he was watching the play clock in the back of the end zone, and not the game clock up higher in the stadium….which is why it’s up to the coaching staff to jump in.
I’ve told this story before: My outlook completely changed when I spent about half an hour chatting with Don Shula in an airport a few years back. What shocked me was that he didn’t talk about their infamous decade long streak of domination. On the contrary, what he remembered was how the Bills had their number in the ‘90s. It taught me a valuable life lesson: losing sticks with you way longer than winning does.
