  1. It certainly seems like human behavior is thr refs favor the home teams due to fan motivation and then the good teams statistically. You will see more PI calls against a visiting team because you have a whole stadium egging your on your throw a flag. That has to be good for some extra flags. You will also see a good team less likely to get the ticky tack formation, motion, offensive interference, and offensive holding calls. That could be why they are good, or maybe they are just coached better, or because their coaches get more respect, or just handle the refs better.
  2. These literally could have been picked pre camp they are so obvious to me. It also adds more fuel that they may pay our MLB.
  3. Having lived there in the past, I can say that they are not kind when any solid winning team goes from success to losing. So let’s hope the Pats go to 7-10 and all hell will break loose. The media will wig out and social media will want Belicheat and his son gone.
  4. I watched OJ as a kid. He was a great athlete and dominated for 2-3 years. He rarely caught the ball, never blocked like Thurman and had a much superior line and FB. He also played in an era where LBs,DEs, and Safetys were more bulky than fast. He rarely ran anyone over. In a later era I don’t know how he would have fared. Unlike Bruce he was not in the best 5 at his position all-time. So that is why he isn’t in the conversation with Bruce. He may not be top 7/8 even though he was given the ball on every play, something most athletes dream of. He doesn’t come close to guys like Sanders or Smith. I listed the other random just showing guys that are natural superior athletes since that was the question.
  5. It’s the players not the unis. Let’s see.. in Blue on Blue I remember our defense destroyed Green Bay, our offense destroyed Seattle, and the big Thanksgiving win vs the Cowboys. Of the All-time games go back to the Milloy opener when we dismantled the Pats. If we want to be superstitious about last year and Tre than why didn’t our favorite white on top of blue work when we played like crap against Jax last year or in the 13 seconds? Because it doesn’t matter. Fingers crossed. Knock on wood.
  6. Right now no one touches Bruce Smith because he was the best to ever do what he did. No other Bills player can say that. Josh can prove me wrong in another decade. you can say people like OJ, Thurman, Eric Moulds, Antoine Winfield, Micah Hyde, Jerry Butler, Cornelius Bennett, or even Doug Flutie had huge natural talents but to me that talent still needs to produce amazing jaw dropping results to be ranked the best.
  7. 29-23 Bills. Miller first strip sack fumble recovery to seal the game please.
  8. That makes perfect sense. People usually fill the stands early for the opener. So maybe 20 minutes before kickoff right before player intros or maybe at halftime.
  9. Most teams have limited line depth. Online play is weak throughout the league. You are lucky to have 1 adequate swing tackle and 1 adequate interior guy. That is why next year is obvious the Bills will be drafting interior OL early and maybe doubling up. Sorry Gunner I didn’t see your comment and basically said the same thing. Ike being hurt particularly hurts them.
  10. I hear some random Twitter account had an NFL source quoting a GM’s secretary’s brother in law saying someone is offering a 1st round pick for Moss, a 2nd for Hodgins, a 3rd for Blackshear, a 4th for Duke Johnson, and a 5th for the rights to Duke Williams because they would prefer not to draft next year.
  11. Agreed but the price of labor, the price acquiring land in London is much more expensive. Also, materials are never cheap in Britain. For instance a “gallon” of gas equivalent right now is over $8 US in Britain and is traditionally double that of the US. So you can’t assume you know the price of their costs. Just saying using the exact same blueprint saves 10s of millions.
  12. It’s going to be some form of offshoot of that Tottenham stadium built by the same company. It’s similar to the questionnaire renderings given out asking about seat section pricing and needs. Note the promised multiple straight up and down deck tiers, the deeper high end zone seats, and the partial covering. Reality is they could straight out copy the full design and save $$$$. It seats 62,850. It was built for 1.2 billion pounds which is…. Wait for it , 1.4 billion US $. So by taking the existing plans you could replicate this and it’s LOUD. You could even tighten it and raise it a bit because you don’t truly need that wide soccer pitch field in Buffalo.
  13. First thought was how is this guy still constantly competing for roles. Then I saw Bears and I knew why.
  14. This is why I expect us to dial up more pressure this year early on. It’s time for the offense and that DL to shine to start the year. Let’s start a week from Thursday and put 35 on the Champs with 3-4 sacks.
  15. It you look at the substitutions in the one drive with Josh in the preseason game. The first outside sub was McKenzie and the 2nd was Shakir. You won’t see Kumerow much unless it is to block or if the game is out of hand. He is absolutely WR6.
  16. They said on GR that if a player makes the 53 and then goes on IR there is an advantage to the team as he can come back during the year. I would assume that will be what happens and he will be where the Punter spot goes.
  17. I know this team loves Kumerow and Sweeney in the locker room but both of those guys have been around multiple years and will never truly contribute much. Kimerow isn’t some elite ST player and Sweeney was abominable last year. Move on already.
  18. I found out this week they actually poll players midseason. What a joke.
  19. A terrible week is when your football team is massively hindered from winning games. This didn’t do that. This was a terrible PR week only. The next ugly story will replace it and there is always one right around the corner in the NFL.
  20. Except for last years playoff loss…. But that was coaching. Coverage teams do matter. If you looked at the preseason they did a lot of kicking only 3 yards deep in the corner of the end zone. They want teams to start < 25 yard line.
  21. I watched preseason and Lindstrom was horrible. You are going off his college name brand which appeared to not to have panned out. He looked like Tenuta.
  22. Why isn’t an offensive lineman also a defensive lineman, I mean they are both lineman? Same answer. Different mechanics and body movements.
  23. Keenum is as good as his surrounding cast. With our top offense he can be better than average for a few games and that is all we need. Barkley won’t be. Barkley is average to poor no matter who he plays with.
  24. IMO, You must have seen a different group of games than what I saw. He is a PS squad guy at best. He had zero ability to handle the edge. I thought he was outplayed by the undrafted kid Anderson.
