Rumor: Bills trying aggressively to move up for a WR in round one

I mean Peyton Manning was better than Archie (could make a case for Eli too) -
Off Topic: Sabres rehire Lindy Ruff as Head Coach

Lmao. You honestly have no idea what you are talking about... but go ahead and point out the "wild" generalizations. -
Off Topic: Sabres rehire Lindy Ruff as Head Coach

Devils had 112 points last year and finished with less points than the Sabres this year. They had a ton of injuries but the goaltending was super bad. I look at Ruff as this: a 2 year try out to get the team to the playoffs, after 2 years they'll either give him another year or so or move on but my hope is he pushes this team. They are capable of making it to the playoffs and winning a round -
I like the Orange ones. The Lions black jersey looks good. The blue one.... I don't know why they have a rival on their shoulder but okay... they suck

Pegulas selling 25% of the Bills, per Tim Graham
dma0034 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Interesting considering there were rumors about him trying to sell the Sabres yesterday -
This may sound very odd but this is a hypothetical trade that isn't crazy in terms of value and yet both teams would absolutely reject it.

Kraft hurt Belichik's chances at becoming the Falcons HC per NYP.
dma0034 replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
In Cleveland he was a 1st time coach that got his team to 11-5 before the final season, which was a throw away season because of the planned move to Baltimore, which he went 5-11. He took over a Pats team that were 8-8 and 9-7 the two years prior and needed one year to turn them into a contender. Brady wasn't Brady until 2006. His stats were average. He also went 11-5 the year Brady was hurt. Then they did a quick rebuild and got to the playoffs two years after Brady left. His big issue came with making Matt Patricia the OC. He isn't an Offensive guy and his team wasn't good offensive but still remained strong defensively. If he took over a team like Philly or Dallas that can score watch out. Especially Philly imo -

Dude won you 6 Championships and you act like he's a PoS. Classless move by Mr. Happy Ending -
This is the reason why WRs don't cost a lot in a trade. Top 10/15 WRs are gonna run you 25+ which is roughly 10% of the total cap. If you have an elite QB that makes 50 million (and soon they'll be closer to 60) that means in a deadly QB/WR combo you've spent 30% of your cap on 2 of your 53 man team

It's Reggie Bush right?

Allen would make any team not named the Chiefs better immediately today (and maybe even the Chiefs with his running ability). This all happened because everyone had him as a bust coming out of college, especially going to Buffalo, and then he becomes elite so they change their views and looks like the best QB in the league on the Pats/Chiefs playoffs and then fails to get past Burrow and Mahomes so now all those people who named him as a bust are trying to validate what they said: you know coming out of college there were questions about accuracy and could he win the big game. Peyton got a ton of grief too until he won one (and ended up having a winning record vs Brady in the playoffs). I can see that for Allen too, they'll get past the Chiefs once and it's over (unfortunately I think the Bills will need a new coach though)
-
Keenan Allen is also about to be 32 with a 23 million dollar cap hit.
-
I'd trade like a 4th round pick. He has done nothing but show the team was absolutely stupid for trading AJ Brown and drafting him as the replacement
-
Short answer: No Long answer: Hell no, not even close. I dislike Basketball and I loathe college sports. I hate seeing college teams that dominate because they get all the best players.... why is that enjoyable? At least in the NFL it seems like you are just one player away. If the Bills drafted Aaron Rodgers during the Brady/Pats era how different would all those years play out? College is just the top programs splitting the most talented athletes and only have 1 or 2 tough games on their schedule. It's lame

I will say this about Stroud: he had an amazing rookie year but struggled against good defenses. I think the only good defense he torched was the Browns in the playoffs but he looked lost against the Jets and Ravens

I wonder where the Schedulers are going to put the Bills @ Texans game next year. Wouldn't be surprised if it is the season opener.

Last player to leave in any way that hurt?

Fitzpatrick. I loved his personality and if we are being honest he was the best QB the Bills had between Bledsoe and Allen. I think the Bills break the drought sooner if they hold onto Fitz and don't draft EJ but who knows? -
Not a bad trade value wise. What makes this a C for me is the dead cap it blows. Would have been better to try to trade next year but whatever. So the Bills don't have a 3rd and what a 6th rounder this year?

Marvin Harrison Jr wants to be a Bill
dma0034 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
WRs are becoming more and more ready to step in and make an impact. Any WR drafted in the first round will be a disappointment if they don't get atleast 850 yards in their rookie season ( I mean for the Bills) -
Thank God. I thought the Chiefs were going to retain all their defensive players. Sneed is really good but this opens a whole in their secondary

Does Josh Allen still work as hard in the offseason?
dma0034 replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
You say that but like 3/4 plays go the other way in the 2021 AFCCG and it's much closer. I remember Singletary dropping a 30/40 yard screen. They also didn't get the redzone issues right. 2022 came down to the Bills not properly defending 13 seconds and losing a coin flip. Last year it was terrble 3rd down calls and a whole LB core injury. The Bills Offense did the best against the Chiefs Defense during the postseason. -
Big win for the job security of the Jets medical staff. That said if Rodgers is anything like his MVP form he'll have some weapons to work with. Too bad their O-Line is terrible
