  1. He doesn't have the arm. He also should have thrown the ball closer to the sideline the play before (to Likely). If the Ravens O-Line isn't good the Ravens Offense will not be good
  2. I hate starting Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews and playing Tucker
  3. Mahomes Turnover machine
  4. The Jets are so irrelevant that they are currently tied for 5th place with the Houston Oilers for the most AFC East Division Championships. The Jets are still 2 behind the Colts who left the AFC East in 2002. But nice to see you Jimmy. Keep up those spirits when your team starts 4-1 and misses the playoffs.
  5. How about sacks? Should we talk about the 2nd worse thing a QB can do during a play? Let me ask you this: does an interception on a hail mary attempt at the end of a half matter? Better yet: explain this to me: Bills @ Dolphins week 18. Bills have a 4th and 2 at the Dolphins 35. Allen looks to his left: everyone covered. He rolls out to his right with Dolphins LB closing in, he lobs a pass to the endzone that's intercepted. Because of that pick the Dolphins lose 15 yards. Are those picks all the same? How about in the Broncos game when Davis has one bounce off his hands for a pick? Or the ball that Diggs had in his hands against the Jags that was a pick? Mahomes first pick last year was a pick 6 because Toney couldn't catch a ball that hit him in his hands. Is that turnover the same?
  6. 12 lost to Mahomes 7... I also didn't include rushing Totals, which would make it go Allen's way. So 17 more TDs vs 13 more TOs. So he turns the ball over once more every 4 games and gives you an extra TD every 3. That's comparing him to the QB that is considered the #1 QB. He has done this with 3 different Offensive Coordinators, a weaker O-Line, a weaker run game (average yards per game w/o QB 2021: 92 vs 83, 2022: 95 vs 92, 2023: 83 vs 98) except last year when the Bills ran it because they wanted to be in a ball control offense. Their receiving threats have been on par since Kelce and Diggs have been pretty equal. Mahomes also got Rice last year and he is turning into a #1 and ofcourse: Andy Reid. Allen is asked to do more. He doesn't get bubble screens and TE shuffle passes for TDs.
  7. Josh didn't win MVP last year because of picks and the narrative about him being a turnover machine despite half of those picks being 3rd and long, 4th down and off Diggs/Davis hands. People don't care about that. They see 18 interceptions and go Oh he cost the Bills games despite having the 2 seed. Mahomes has 8 less interceptions the last 3 years. Mahomes has 105 throwing TDs, Josh has 100. Josh has 28 rushing TDs, Mahomes has 6. So Allen has 128 TDs vs 47 picks Mahomes has 111 Tds vs 39 picks So Allen has 17 TDs vs 8 picks. Yet Mahomes doesn't get hit with turnover machine. Mahomes throws a lot of TDs on TE screens and RB screens but his one yard shuffle pass to Kelce is more important than Allen's 1 yard TD. It's just the media creating a narrative. Lamar had absolutely no reason to win MVP last year. He isn't even the best player on his time (Roquon Smith) and because he didn't have to play at all down 2 scores the Ravens could protect him and not make him throw. It's dumb. Allen is the 2nd best QB in the league and the most talented but gets no respect and "over-rated" and choker labels put on him.
  8. He is better in every way. Catching, running, acceleration. Garrett Wilson is their next best player. Mike Williams is pretty good to for the 7 games he's healthy. They also spent the off-season making sure their O-Line was better. However; I think Rodgers is cooked and the team will start off 3-2 or 4-1 and then implode
  9. McDermott has shown he can mold DBs and LBs. Only true weakness has been DE. IMO if you have a defensive coach you shouldn't be paying your defense a ton unless they are truly elite. You spend more on Offense and let your HC and DC craft game plans.
  10. Think the Bills win 11 Jets win 9 Dolphins win 8 Patriots win 6 Jets start off 4-1 and then implode. Dolphins are proclaimed pretenders by the media. Pats defense is still decent and they get 6 wins, which is more than predicted. Bills are the 3 seed! They end the Chiefs Three-peat in Round 2 but fall in the Superbowl to the Lions
  11. I believe in Jordan Love. There are two things though and make me take QBs before him in Fantasy (I know Apples and Oranges but hear me out). Last year their Passing numbers didn't line up with their TDs produced. What I mean by that is this. The Packers were the 11th best Offense last year and had good rushing and passing attacks but neither elite (I think both were in the 10-12 range). The Packers scored the 2nd most passing TDs last year and the 20th most Rushing TDs. They averaged 1.9 Passing and .7 Rushing. That number should be closer to 1.6 passing and 1 Rushing in normal scoring based on their offensive outputs but the Packers went pass happy in the red zone. If that regresses to the norm Jordan Love may end up with 25-26 TDs vs the 32 he got last year. Side note: the 2023 Packers have weird wins and losses. Losses to Falcons, Raiders, Vikings, Giants and wins against the Rams and then back to back wins over the Lions and Chiefs.
  12. That is crazy! Lamar's MVP last year was thanks to his Defense. Comparing their best years. Allen's 20,21 and 22 are better than both of Lamar's MVP years. I've also said this once and I'll say it again. Bills defense is good because of Allen. Ravens defense is just plain good. Howver; this Joe Burrow is elite conversation needs to be opened. Jake Browning played pretty well last year. Burrow has had an elite #1 WR and elite #2 WR with a good defense (amazing DC) except his rookie year. I'll give you accuracy but nothing else really screams elite about him imo. I don't think the Bengals win because of Burrow. I think they win because he's a good QB with elite WRS and a good defense that keeps Offenses guessing
  13. They have 39 million. 10 million of that is Trent Williams that is currently not on the roster. So they have 29 million. More than hald just went to Aiyuk to bring him to 30 (16 million) and then Purdy is going to be 50+ million..... yeah... they can't
  14. 49ers don't have the money. If they pay Purdy they're screwed Cap wise
  15. 49ers are preparing to play week 1 without Trent and Aiyuk. If the Jets win that they could easily go 5-0. Even if you split the rest of the year that may be enough to win the division at 11-6.
  16. He says that. His topic title is the reverse of what he thinks. If Allen gets hurt the Bills are cooked. It's because their Offense is Allen.
  17. The QB that was available to everyone until late November?
  18. Long story short: NFL player, that article promotes to star player, cheats on hot influencer ex-fiance with hotter influencer and the ex-fiance is mad. Honestly the moral of this story is: Money does buy happiness
  19. It's super obvious Douglass doesn't want to be here? IDK about that. He played gret last year and if he continues his excellent play he'll be in line for a huge contract... why wouldn't you want to play for a team that gets a ton of prime time games and allowed you to shine during his limited time here. I also don't know if anyone except Diggs really annoyed the higher ups. Morse, Poyer and Tre were all cap related and you could tell they wanted to keep Tre White but due to injuries and his contract they couldn't. Even if Diggs is still a good player getting a 2nd rounder may be a great outcome for the Bills. It's one of those old Patriot moves: Better to move on a year too early than a year too late
  20. Belichick will never admit it but you know if he ever had an opportunity to trade Brady for Peyton he would have done it. He loves Peyton. I agree except this one possibility: Bill as the HC and Daboll as the OC
  21. They do have an easy week 2-5 but you hope they beat up the Jets a little. I will say this: I think the 49ers win but it will be closer. Aiyuk is MIA and Trent Williams may not play... that will absolutely hurt the 49ers. CMC to the left side for 5 yards isn't there without Big Trent
  22. McDermott has been able to develop CBs and LBs in his time here. Getting a player with an elite physical skill set that you can develop sounds like a good idea to me. Safety is the one spot on defense I think the Bills are weaker at then last year (on defense)
  23. A few things: 1. The NFL is over-rating the Texans so much. I think they have a losing record this year 2. Look at Stroud getting some trash talking votes early 3. I wonder how many players voted Allen as over-rated and biggest trash-talker 4. Aaron Rodgers even being in the conversation for best QB is insane. I think Brady could come out and play and be better than Rodgers today.
  24. i don't think the Chiefs with Allen lose to the Bengals in 2021 No lol. I just think no one will argue it this year. Last year and the year before I argued that Mahomes was in a league of his own and plenty of people wanted to fight me lol. This year I think they are on the same level and people just put Mahomes in his own tier. Everyone has an opinion: I told people I'd take Jefferson over Diggs 10 times out of 10 in his rookie year (Diggs first year in Buffalo) and everyone came at me lol. I also thought Josh Allen was going to be a bust.
  25. He's won 2 MVPs. Is the best rushing QB and wins a lot. Now again: I agree. In my own personal opinion Allen and Mahomes are in a tier by themselves and I think if Allen was on the Chiefs they'd have won the same amount of SBs. Obviously Allen is the better rusher but Mahomes has the better touch on short passes and is more accuracy on deep shots. I think Allen can do more with less but I think Mahomes can utilize his weapons better if that makes sense. Burrow is accurate for sure but he takes a lot of sacks too (which is something we don't ever mention about Allen enough.... outside of a pick the worse thing that can happen on a passing down is to take a sack). Burrow has also had the benefit of having one of the top 5 WRs and top #2 and a top #3 WR. He also hasn't had his defense collaspe against Mahomes in the playoffs too. I personally don't like players that can't stay healthy. I don't care if you are Peyton Manning for 8 games a year if you aren't available for a quarter of the season and the playoffs which has happened to both Burrow and Lamar twice already. I've thought that ever since Lamar won his 1st MVP he's gotten away with being an average passer and reputation. There's a reason why GMs didn't try to sign him and I think it's the concern of losing a step. I think Lamar is a backup QB in 10 years. I think once he loses his speed as a runner his arm talent isn't going to keep him as a good QB. Where as Allen can not run as much but his arm talent will still make him a good QB in 10 years. Last year not count?
