Damn, watching this Jets Offense makes me wonder why they let Zack Wilson get away......

Derek Carr is the MVP

If the Jets lose this game you might as well kiss the playoffs goodbye. Their schedule is way too hard to afford losses to the Titans

Jets get a 3 and out

These two and the Chiefs/Bengals are the most interesting to me. I think the Cardinals are a sneaky good team. I'm surious how they play against the Rams. Bucs were tied with the Lions after 3 quarters in the playoffs last year. Bucs had the ball with a chance to tie late in the 4th but Baker threw a pick. Baker threw 4 TDs against a bad Washington Defense... I'm interested to see how he does against the Lions The story with the Bengals and Chiefs is all Burrow. A few sites online kept saying the wrist wasn't right. If Burrow isn't 100% the Bengals chances of winning the AFC are over (especially if Chase and Higgins get out of there)

Social media after a Bills win makes everything better
dma0034 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's so funny to watch after Bills wins. Always predicts the Bills to lose, Dolphins to win and has the best content when the Dolphins suck lol -
It's impressive for sure but I'm sure him and everyone on this board would trade some of those wins for wins in the postseason. I have no doubt that McDermott is an excellent coach. The team that ended the drought, except for the Peterman debacle , was exceptionally coached. My problem is I see his defense fall apart against the elite QBs in the postseason. The Bills have also spent more money on Defense than Offense since his first year (this year being almost tied).

Random talking head says something about the Bills
dma0034 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, but what I'm saying is: when the 1st read isn't there Tua is cooked because he can't escape. Meaning if teams can do that they're going to dominate the passing game. Now imagine a mobile QB, not even Allen, like Hurts or Fields. It would have to pull their LBs up to prevent that type of running and would allow for more passes in the middle of the field. -

I'm not sure how much of that is because Tua can't stay in the pocket too long because of the concussions. Obviously it would look very different with Allen but I wonder how much different it would be with Allen being able to escape pressure -

He's a Dolphins fan. Has said it on more than one occasion. He does also pick the other WB when they compare Allen to whoever. Side note: this show sucks. I watch clips here and there and with the exception of Chase they are all super annoying, I almost can't listen to Shady. Acho always try to prop up all the players Superbowls and yardage like Shady didn't win 2 SBs as a backup RB. His takes are more feeling than facts and imo he tries to come off sounding intelligent more than actually trying to say something intelligent. -
I mean do I really need to give a long explanation? Do you only comment on the last thing or do you try to read the whole conversation? I said teams would trade a 1st. Someone else said: Diggs got less than. I said: Hill is better than Diggs, Hill has far more production and once Diggs loses a step he's done, once Hill loses a step he will still be a #2 WR. I think Diggs has lost a half step plus Diggs has the locker room cancer label Someone else said: Diggs isn't washed: he looked good against the Colts Me: he had 33 yards on 6 catches but the 2 TDs inflate hide his lack of production That's the conversation. I'll also add this: Hill had more yards Thursday night when his QB played bad, got knocked out in the 3rd Quarter against a much better team (24 receiving and 12 rushing yards). Comparing Diggs and Hill overall Hill Hill's last two years are better than Digg's career year in 2020. Also Hill doesn't have to answer for his Totals considering Diggs became a complete non-factor when Joe Brady took over as OC last year and his numbers dropped drastically over the last 8 weeks.

Their Offense has been coming back down to Earth. Last 6 games: Bills x2, Ravens, Chiefs, Jags and Cowboys. 22, 19, 14, 7, 20, 10. I know (except for the Jags) those are some great defenses but when Offense is your bread and butter and you score 92 point in 6 games for a 15 point average you aren't going to win a ton of games (especially when you spend all your money on Offense)

No lol, like with friends. If you know someone who has Peacock for example, you just go: hey I don't have it... I'll trade you a different streaming service in exchange. I think Netflix is the only one charging for different households (could be wrong)

Second time something I said in their comment sections that comes directly put of his mouth. I also said he was punishing Allen for playing a Jordan level dominate player. If Mahomes didn't exist would Allen already have a SB? I posted twice that the Bills Defense is fine, the players that were let go were aging and not playing at an elite level or often hurt. I love the show though: the three of them have excellent chemistry and Nick is the reason it's successful. Nick, when he isn't playing into his bias, has a lot of interesting takes. I just posted about Stroud vs elite Defenses... so I'm sure that will be on their show on Monday if the Bears beat the Texans -
Does anyone trade streaming services? Like I pay for Apple, Max, Peacock and Prime and I trade those for Paramount, Disney, Hulu and Netflix

Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)
dma0034 replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm glad the Dolphins paid him. No one really has a bad thing to say about Tua as a person. I think he'll continue to play. It's sad because that hit wasn't a devastating blow but every concussion he gets has the ability to do more damage and the likelihood of them happening increases. NFL players don't ever think about the long term effects. The more concussions he has the more his life will suck later on. Imagine having light sensitivity and constant migrates at age 35 Poor dude, it's his choice but I hope he lives a healthy life -
Texans played 7 games against top 12 Defenses last year: 1-6 and scored 18 points a game. You take out the Browns that they were 1-1 and had their two highest score Totals: 0-5 with 11.8 points a game. Bears have a top 12 Defense. Stroud struggled against elite Defenses last year. The only question I have is if the Bears Offense does enough.

Gunner was the one who said he didn't look bad last week. I commented on Digg's performance in Week 1 I do think injuries will play a part but unless they scheme him open I don't think it will be hard for DBs to push him off his routes.
-
So I don't think he's washed. I think he's an average player. He had 6 catches for 33 yards. He was the #3 WR in terms of yardage last week... it just looks better because he scored 2 TDs. I also think Worthy is over-rated because people see the production (2 TDs) and fail to see all his plays. Same as Diggs. I think Houston loses this week and I think Diggs is shut down.... but we'll see.
-
It's Tom Brady. Refs don't call Holding on his O-Lines
-
Every concussion Tua gets from now on could lead to CTE and Brain dysfunction. He has the potential to damage his brain. Do I think he plays? Yes.... but I also think any concussion on any given play could be his last. It's like Pat Lafontaine
-
It's crazy how many HC jobs the elite QBs get their OCs. Remember when Peyton got Adam Gase a HC job? The answer is Brady. Not even because of talent or anything. More likely to see Offensive coaches than Defensive coaches
-
Tyreek Hill is better than Diggs. His two years as a Dolphins: 1750 yards, 10 TDs, 119 catches is his average. He also doesn't have the "locker room cancer" label that Diggs has. If Diggs loses a step he's bad. If Hill loses a step he's still a #2 WR.

It's why I didn't think losing Poyer or Hyde was a lost. I'll miss their minds but their bodies are starting to fail them in the NFL. I saw the last two years Poyer taking the wrong angles. The game against the Titans (where Allen slipped on the last play) the Bills were up 6-0 or something and Derrick Henry had a long run and it was all set up by Poyer not having the proper angle. Since then it's just been in my head that he just lost a half step and that turned him from an elite Safety to a below to average Safety imo
