  1. Gotta love how Hurts handled that situation though 😂 Seems like a good dude.
  2. Sure, if you ignore every other benefit to having a dome too... That's the thing though, additional benefits actually exist. What are the benefits of no dome? What about fans themselves? Do you honestly believe the majority of people prefer to sit in crappy weather? Even though $2B might be accurate, it's a kick in the nuts knowing so many other teams got beautiful, state of the art, domed stadiums for significantly less than that (even adjusted for inflation)... And they didn't have to stick them in the middle of nowhere to save on price either. But the Bills have to pay MORE than those teams, for a smaller stadium, and make sure it's built away from any meaningful developments, ensuring there's zero opportunity for any additional economic benefit (no, I'm not talking about overall "net profit vs public funds," which we know is a loss). Circling back, let's not act like 1) the NFL isn't geared towards the passing game, 2) Allen doesn't have many years left, 3) the most successful this team has been in 3 decades has been when we had a good passing offense.... Perhaps we should lean into that? How many years did we listen to new HC press conferences where they'd talk about a commitment to the run & a strong defense, blah blah blah? Every. Single. Time. They all failed. They tried building those teams REPEATEDLY, but it took one good QB to finally escape that, and suddenly = playoffs. Coincidence?
  3. Guess people just see what they want to see, me included. Thought this once again confirmed bad weather negates our advantages. We ran the ball great today, but we're not a strong running team. Allen's play killed his TD/INT ratio, overall QBR & likely MVP chances, even putting up 2 rushing TD's. Being cold/wet obviously affects his control & comfort when throwing the ball. Even Diggs dropped 2 TD passes in 2 bad weather home games, and he never drops passes.
  4. Snubbed for Pro Bowl but making first team All Pro? What sweet, poetic justice that would be! Bet his wife would make the irony of that pretty loud & clear on Twitter too 😂
  5. I don't live there, but I honestly think despite the size, they'd be able to support an MLB or NBA team too. Yeah, I know they had an NBA team for a few years decades ago, & they tried to lure an MLB team, but they got screwed both times. At the very least, they'd put up better attendance numbers than the Marlins & Rays in my opinion lol
  6. Damn, I forgot Tony Boselli really didn't play that long... But he was just so noticeably great, and at a position that's hard to stick out playing, he made the NFL's All-Decade team for the 90's (only drafted in 1995). I know Boselli played Tackle, but you know what other great linemen was drafted in 1995? Bills Guard Ruben Brown! Both 1st round picks, both Pro Bowlers (5 x Boselli / 9 x Brown) & both All-Pro's (though Boselli was 1st team All-Pro). Just wanted to give my yearly Ruben Brown appreciation reminder! 👍
  7. Sorry, after hearing it YET AGAIN on Sunday, how does this even happen? I can't remember a Bills game in recent memory where the commentators, regardless of crew, point out the duo of Poyer & Hyde are the "BEST" safety duo in the NFL. They go on to praise them individually, their stats, their efficiency ratings, their leadership, etc., often even mentioning Poyer as an All-Pro candidate. So how, if EEEEVVVVERRRYYYOOONNEE under the sun notices this, do BOTH of them get left out? Maybe one missing out, ok... don't want 2 safeties from the same team, but BOTH? Ok, even then, I'm a Bills fan... I'm used to our great players being overlooked. But then I see the alternates... 1st team alternates? Nope 2nd team alternates? STILL NO?! 3rd team alternates? Oh yay... there's Poyer 😑 4th team alternates? Final insult... there's Hyde 😡 And that's completely ignoring the travesty of Josh's snub over players like Lamar... Pro Bowl selection process needs to change. Immediately. https://imgur.com/IP7nBZK
  8. That's truly vomit-inducing... But hey, that running game was nasty! CJ Spiller & Fred Jackson putting up nearly 200 yards & 2 TD's was great! Edit: And 6 sacks (4 between Hughes, M. Williams & Dareus) from that great pass rush we used to have.
  9. Pretty sure he is, but I think he's keeping it vague publicly since he has a handful of goofball teammates who are vocally not vaccinated. I don't think he wants to sound like he's anti-them, or make them more publicly isolated. He wants to support them as teammates, without having to make a statement about their choices. Not saying I agree with that reasoning (if my guess is correct), as I feel it's important to be clear on making smart choices during a public health crisis, but I don't think he's wrong for not speaking up either.
  10. Chiefs: 8 game win streak, only AFC team to clinch playoff spot Colts: 8-2 over last 10 games after starting 1-4 Dolphins: First team to lose 7 straight games, then win 7 straight games in the same season. In a more progressive future, they could be the first team to win 7 gay games too! (Stole that joke from Brandon Perna on YT 😂) Bills: 2 game win streak... Yes, very quiet indeed!
  11. "Kwah-tuh-back!" The accent is so thick it sounds like a comedian's impression of a Bostonian! 😂
  12. Not sure about a similar run to the Giants, but they could definitely go on a run. Let's be honest, last year's playoff run was nice, but our offense didn't play particularly well. Any defense-related issues aside, the offense looked out of sync even in wins. If they tidy that up, there's no doubt they can reach the Super Bowl. Part of the reason we've managed to put up so many points despite poor redzone production is the sheer amount of golden opportunities the defense gifts us. Whether it's extra possessions off turnovers, multiple 3 & out stops, pushing opponents backwards, etc. leading to great starting field position & a short distance to within FG range. If the offense can play even close to their potential, 30+ points a game, even in the playoffs against the best competition, is perfectly doable. That's the difference I want to see this year. When you beat the hyped Patriots #1 defense by double digits & hang 30+ on them, you know damn well you can win against anyone. Take it one game at a time, drop another 30+, proceed to the next victim 😁
  13. Can't believe 2 people downvoted you. Yesterday proved why you keep multiple good players at the same position when you can! Injuries happen, COVID happens, suspensions happen... "Next man up," is often thrown out, but that often just means "pray for the best & hope they don't bomb!" In this case, we KNOW they won't bomb, don't have to expect the worst, and know they're capable of high production without setting back the team. Getting rid of one of them kills that luxury. You're back to gambling on full time availability & hopes the replacements don't handicap the team. When they're both healthy, you then have even MORE options & ways to attack an opponent! You don't intentionally negate that blessing. If you lose one, it better be because they chose to leave... or some team with a ton of cap space threw the bank at them.
  14. Just heard them say this, in Belichick's entire career (all 474 games), there's never been a team he's faced that hasn't punted once... until the Bills yesterday. Kyle Brandt is right. That MNF matchup is the "3 pass game," but yesterday in NE was the "0 punt game." I love it!
  15. This has been a thing that has kinda worried me a bit this season. I doubt he'll get injured doing it, but you see him drop to the ground a lot more often, then immediately get up with his hands in the air & looking at the refs. Don't like the tendency to look for flags every time you're touched, but if it works, it works.
  16. On the road too! And you can tell that was an extremely hostile environment, especially after the non-call, unnecessary roughness flag was picked up 😂 Those fans never quit raging! So yeah, that was a very impressive performance. Josh's best game against NE by far (since this year's squad is actually good), and imo, best of the season.
  17. Belichick often praises Josh, and you can tell it's genuine. The guy throws out every cliché in the book & is about as brief as possible on any subject, but he'll go out of his way to talk on & on about Allen. Here's a recent quote: "He does a good job at everything. He’s continued to grow as a player and I think you see his leadership, his toughness, his physical ability, all that, on a very consistent basis. He’s the guy that makes them go and he’s become one of the top quarterbacks in the league.” And that's just part of what he said. But as you said, he loves Josh.
  18. Thank God the board won't be completely unbearable for the next week! Hate having to avoid it for several days straight to avoid the awful hot take drama (we still wanting to fire McDermott btw?)
  19. See! I pointed this out before - EVERY GAME, the commentators bring up Jordan Poyer & Micah Hyde as "the best safety tandem in the NFL." Yet somehow, neither of them are selected to the Pro Bowl? If literally everyone, regardless of broadcast crew, constantly notice & repeat this, how do they get snubbed for the Pro Bowl again? It's just stupid 😤
  20. By the end of this game, we won't have enough healthy players left to even field a team! Talk about s*** luck!
  21. Patriots secondary must be covering pretty well, because even though Allen is eventually getting pressured, it's only after he's had time to basically scout the entire field & move around in the pocket. He's looking a little less decisive on that last series though. Can't blame him when your receivers keep dropping freebie TD's or committing penalties wiping TD's off the board.
  22. Seems the Bills players are being too lax... getting comfortable with their lead. Have to be more focused & disciplined!
  23. That is now THREE potential layup TD passes dropped/taken back! Wtf guys...
  24. How can you blame Daboll? I feel like a broken record, but PLAYERS and EXECUTION of the plays are what matters. Daboll didn't make a wide open Emmanuel Sanders drop a TD pass, or make Zach Moss trip over himself just as he was about to walk into the endzone.
  25. The fans are STILL so salty over one non-call! I seriously can't stop laughing! Just keep it coming, it's the most I've laughed this season LOL
