  1. The reason I did it is because I'm showing you what social media dialogue is like, and it's not something you even have to dig for. I could do the same on Twitter or anywhere else. You literally can't bring up Josh without a bunch of people instantly mocking the idea (unless you're on a Bills-related video/article). It's very much the narrative & perception among general fans that 1) he turns over the ball too much & 2) the Bills haven't been successful enough. If the Bills can win out & Josh can somehow string together 2 games without a turnover, there might be a larger movement in his favor. But please, just search "NFL MVP" on any platform, look at any poll, and you will see exactly what I'm talking about.
  2. Yeah, that's basically still the perception. Not the missing the playoffs part, but using turnovers (and the team's record) against Allen is pretty much what I see in the comments under any video discussing the topic. I just screen grabbed a handful of comments under some YT videos discussing MVP, and the best you'll get is a Bills fan suggesting Allen should win, followed by a bunch of responses mocking his turnovers.
  3. Oh really? I honestly overlooked it, but had my eyes on the Mario RPG (SNES remake). I'll check it out 👍
  4. Awesome! I need to get a hold of Mario All-Stars on SNES, just to play Mario 3 again. I never played any of the Madden games from that era, but I did have Madden 01 on N64 (which I'm guesing is close to the same). Did Madden 94 have licensed teams & players yet at that point?
  5. What game are you playing? I've been looking at some SNES games to buy on Steam recently 😁
  6. I know it's just the Jets, but my god... Cleveland looks insane tonight! 34 points & Flacco with nearly 300 yards/3 TDs by half time? They're going to be a tough team for anyone in the playoffs.
  7. Let's be real, it's because of other reasons we hate them... 1) They made the SB before we did 2) Everyone in the media hopped off the Allen bandwagon & positioned Joe as the #2 behind Mahomes 3) Embarassed us at home in the playoffs, then talked smack about it 4) Beat us again this year, proving to most fans they're better than us when healthy If they hadn't become so successful, we probably wouldn't care what they say about anyone... especially not the Chiefs.
  8. 1. CMC 2. Lamar 3. Tyreek 4. Josh 5. Purdy (yes, still) That's after week 16. Things could change in the next 2 weeks, but that's my current ranking.
  9. Of course. What did Rams fans think in 2021 when he had a handful of sacks during the regular season, only to come alive in the playoffs & Super Bowl? Didn't Bills fans last year say they just wanted him to be healthy come playoff time? If there's any chance for him to be the difference maker we want, he needs to get play time through the end of the season. I agree that he hasn't done much since returning, but this is the final stretch where we need him most. If he's still not a factor, then sure, sound the alarm.
  10. But he's a man coverage guy & doesn't work in our system! At least that's what everyone tells me... Somehow Beane & McDermott overlooked this bit when drafting him, so how could he possibly help us now? Sarcasm aside, I desperately hope he improves & figures it out. He obviously has talent, but it'd be great to see it finally come together & help this team make a playoff push!
  11. Out of existing venues, I've only been to: Buffalo Washington Baltimore Dallas Houston Everywhere else I've been has been replaced or the team relocated. So out of this tiny group, "Jerry World" was definitely the best stadium I've been to, and it's crazy to see how much they got compared to what was spent (even accounting for inflation). Houston surprised me the most. I never hear anything about it, but it was actually pretty impressive. Even without a full house, it was way louder than I imagined it would be, too. Worst stadium was definitely FedEx Field. I never experienced the terrible stuff I often see online, but it still wasn't good.
  12. Am I missing something, or do we only need 2 things to happen and we get the #2 seed no matter what? 1) Win out 2) Ravens beat the Dolphins next week Is that really it? I've been messing around with the playoff simulator, and that seems to be all that's required. I guess I didn't realize how obtainable that actually is. Of course, even that scenario isn't "easy" given how up & down the Bills are, or how unpredictable the NFL is overall.
  13. Just to be a d*ck... He also just tied Blake Bortles for most career Interceptions! 🤪
  14. I know I won't be popular for saying it, but I still have a ton of respect & praise for Mahomes as a player & person. HATE, HATE, HAAAATE him when it comes to playing against him or the excuses made for him in the media, but as a dude, he's cool. I watched him every game in college, went to most all the home games, know many people who met him during that time, and everyone I know has only said positive things about him. He's always been a vocal & intense competitor, so all the yelling on the sidelines is no big deal. Diggs is like that too. But do I feel bad that he's struggling this year? HAHAHAHA! Helllll no! The more losses the better! Sorry Patty, can't win em all! 😁
  15. I tend to agree. I also think this preview helps Shanahan more than it helps Harbaugh. The Ravens made a lot of great plays, but they "only" won by 14 with a +5 turnover differential. I don't expect that to happen often, and you can't count on those bobbled/dropped/tipped passes to all land perfectly in your defenders' hands like they did tonight. Just think of how many would-be INTs Dak could've had against the Bills. I can remember at least 3 times a defender had a play on the ball but dropped it, and that's not counting tips/drops that landed safely on the ground. The Ravens caught em all! 😅
  16. Agreed, but then the media would have to admit ***ALL*** QB's "need help." But the Chiefs have a great defense, a similarly unimpressive WR corps, a HOF TE, and still have Andy Reid calling plays. So what happened? Am I supposed to believe the dropoff from Juju Smith-Schuster to Rashee Rice is SO massive that they go from Super Bowl winners to this? Their RBs are still Isiah Pacheco & Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and the rest of their WR corps is still mostly the same as last year (Justin Watson, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, etc.). The biggest difference this season is Eric Bieniemy leaving (though he didn't call plays), and more turnovers. Chiefs had 23 turnovers in 17 games last year, but are already at 26 through 15 games this year. Mahomes simply isn't playing as well as normal, and the rest of the offense isn't helping either.
  17. I think we're just being unfairly harsh to Purdy. We've seen fans of other team criticize Josh for similar games, claim "he only got good when Diggs got there" (Trayvon even suggested the same thing), had analysts mock the idea that he was as good as Mahomes (after people hyped him up), blah blah blah. Purdy was taken as the 262nd pick overall, playing in his 2nd year... No matter what anyone says, no matter the talent around them, few QBs have been as successful as he's been while also putting up those numbers. We've seen "game managers" do well, even winning Super Bowls, but Purdy's done more than that. MVP? Hell no. But he deserves credit, bad game aside.
  18. Imagine if Darnold suddenly has a career resurgence. Of course, people would credit the 49ers system, but when you go from playing with the Jets & Panthers to playing with Deebo, CMC & Kittle, you gotta love the opportunity.
  19. But when you're that good following the script, who cares? Let's also not pretend that all the INTs were his fault, especially when so many defend Josh when similar things happen to him (dropped/tipped passes, hit while being thrown). Lamar can make plays, but it's a hell of a lot easier to score when you get so many extra opportunities & have a short field. His numbers aren't anything special this year either, especially not compared to his 2019 seaosn. He has HALF the passing the TDs, more turnovers, and less rushing TDs (even with 2019 being a 16 game season).
  20. True, but Lamar is almost more overrated than Purdy this year. And after the Ravens defense made his life 100x easier, he's going to get even mroe credit.
  21. It shouldn't. The ref screwed them on that one 😆
  22. I don't blame him... Even when he hits a receiver in the hands, they can't hang onto it. What's going on with Deebo? Dude has bobbled nearly every catch. New gloves or something?
  23. Just wanted to highlight after today's Chiefs loss. Chiefs 2 x turnovers vs Raiders 0 turnovers. This is the most turnovers Mahomes has had in a season (16) and now have the same record as the Bills. For the first time ever, the Chiefs face going through the playoffs without home field advantage throughout.
