Brandon Beane got emotional over fan support
Ramza86 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The country was behind the Bills. Out of my group of friends and family... Im the only Bills fan (Live/d in Miami most of my life). Almost everyone i know reached out to me after that game heartbroken for me lol. They all wanted us to win. I wish the NFL and refs felt the same way. -
WR technique- the push off. To teach or not to teach?
Ramza86 replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im all for pushing off if you can do it like Plaxico Burress. I was a big fan of how he created separation. Hed lower one hand and push and extend on the defenders hip/lower back. Harder for the refs to catch and just as effective. -
Josh Allen is really doing his best to control his natural instinct of desperation. The "hero" ball that usually ends up in disaster. You can see him really trying to be a poised QB and understand situational football, but this game and how close and high pressure it was anyone could have made mistakes. Hell...you saw Drew Brees give up the ball at the end of that game. Didnt even protect the ball with a pass rusher attacking him.

I personally wouldnt give the Bills a TD. But...I also would have called a Delay of game on 3rd and 18 and not thrown a flag for a blindside block.

The Duke hype is a little much..but he seems somewhat effective...but at the end of the day if he has trouble being on the same page with the QB he cant be on the field. Regardless of how good he is. A QB and WR both need to be able to recognize defenses to adjust their routes accordingly. Maybe Duke isnt ready at that level.

Bettin on the Bills!

I stopped playing about 15 minutes in. The randomness of the low accuracy is a joke.

anybody else think we should have kept ivory over gore
Ramza86 replied to tcampbell104's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On the field probably....off the field...probably not. Gore is a veteran role model and a future HoFer. Just having a guy like that on the team, working hard and being a good example for the rest is big for the process. -
Correct....but I would make sure that we focus on these weaknesses in reading coverages...i just want to make sure JA knows where the ball should go and can he put it there. Like if he doesnt have time in the pocket, id rather him work on moving around in the pocket instead of panicking and just taking any one on one he sees. Ya know? I dont care if he takes the sack...make sure the right decision is made in terms of where the ball has to go. Ya know?

How bad is Levi Wallace making tackles?
Ramza86 replied to Stallions's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whoever 24 was on Sunday....was absolutely terrible. -
Right...but you can do that next week against the Jets and in the playoffs. I think there is a real look here at gaining some experience and becoming a better QB. If you just play to your strengths then you are just conceding that this is JAs limit as a passer. I think with any QB youd ideally want them to be as cerebral as Brees/Manning/Brady. This is a chance to gain some mental experience and not just do what works and try to win.

You could try to "protect" him. Kind of like we did against Pitt. Try and establish run...minimize mistakes...blah blah blah. To me...he needs to go out there and make the right read and hopefully not turn it over in the process. Hes gotta be willing to make the mistakes this game...At least i think so.

We all know about JA's issues against good defenses/pressure We clinched a spot....do we throw Josh in the lions den this week and focus solely on his decision making against this complex defense? Maybe let him call the plays or only work on making the right throw instead of saying...getting a first down in that particular situation. I would give up this game if it would help JA get better against complicated defenses and pressure. At the end of the day, he needs to be better against strong defenses. What do you think?

How many people ***** their pants when tre was hurt?
Ramza86 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I gave up on the organization for allowing him to get hurt. -
Dang...I know what you mean. I think how the offense is run put JA as the lead dog. I think we could go into a run heavy, limit JAs attempts and win the old fashioned way. I really do believe they are throwing as much as they do because they need him to be able to do everything on the field to become a Franchise type player. I dont think its just about winning with this year its about making JA a complete QB......and winning.

Im ok with the over throw....its normal. What im not ok with is the lack of loft on his deep passes...hes just putting it on a line, so there is no adjustment opportunity for the WR. Granted we dont have the greatest of 50/50 ball WRs....but if any WR has a step on their defender Allen needs to put loft on the ball and hope the WR can see it and get to it. Just as a side note...it was windy as heck Sunday wasnt it? Maybe putting loft isnt the best idea.
