I kind of throw out the Tennesse game late notice and played on Tuesday. Even with the dropped pass Int Allen didnt play horrible. With poor weather it is what it is. Allen will be good for making some plays. In those conditions a pass heavy approach is very limiting. Those games are where you need balance and put pressure on the opposing team to score. With Brown out it makes the passing game more easily defendable and the offense needs another player to step up. After the bye maybe Davis is ready maybe Singeltary or Moss step up and become a playmaker.

Buffalo has also played more winning teams than any other division leader 7. Ten is closest with 5. The points for and against is close. They had the Jets twice thats it. The only other team they played with a losing record today is NE. Buffalo is playing top 10 offense. Against, the very best in the NFL the defense is average. So is every defense in the NFL vs good teams. Buffalo dropped 35 on the LAR top defense, GB just put up 31 on Ind another top defense. Buffalos worst game came at 5 pm on a Monday. 24 hours before they were still preparing for the defending Superbowl champs they may play in 4 days. I would like the flexabilty to have edmunds on the edge blitzing and a decent cover back in the middle. I think the defense is the most dangerous when he is on the edge. By every measure he is a top 5 qb right now. The addition of Diggs removes the game plan elite teams used to beat Buffalo last year. Man up and blitz. Teams who have tried that have been scorched. He has become a true franchise qb. Poor running game, average defense, and Buffalo is 7-3. Average qb Buffalo is in a much worst position, you could flip the wins ans losses in my opinion.

There are a handful of guys who do everything for their teams. Those are the top 6 qbs in the league. Allen's running and defense has been suspect this year. They are 7-3, lost to winning teams, and beat the most winning teams. Allen is legit. Buffalo is legit.
