35-0 is a big bounce back. Buffalo is starting out vs some really good defenses. Getting the run game going a bit is encouraging. Its still Sept Buffalos offense isn’t where it needs to be yet but are pretty close.

Agreed. By spreading out and putting the back or Te outside the alignment indicates coverage as well. Some teams do what they do. Others mix it up. The Steelers usually do them. I felt like when the play calling was questioned after the game Mcdermott blamed himself. He gives Daboll free reign with the offense. I dont expect a play caller change but I do expect some game management comprehension. Buffalo had the game in their hand for 3/4 of it. Without playing well. A few bonehead calls and the game is lost. If Daboll wants a HC job some of these calls are head scratchers. He can hide behind the looks and execution all he wants. That may work with the media but wont win him a job.

Give me Davis down the field. I think the speed difference is negligible. I like Davis’ size, body control and ball tracking ability. Catching a deep ball is a talent. Sanders has never been a deep threat.

I think its doable. Like 60 yards a game average and an extra game. After last week I expect more balance and more 21 personal. I dont expect 3 yards and a cloud of dust football. Use more traditional sets and use tempo and spread to keep defense guessing. Like anything else in football all off 1 thing becomes easy for the defense to handle. The up tempo is like Allens arm strength. The right time its a game changer. All the time limits the offense.

Allen is a rhythm passer. Get him easy completions early. Open up after a few.

No, I want zone defenders to change there cues and take a false step or no step. Give Allen a clearer picture with easier reads. Im not saying do it every time but straight drop back passing wasnt efficient. Mix up what the defense is seeing. You do that with motion and play action.

I think they need to figure out who does what best. Sanders imo is best under 15 yards. Similar to Beasley. Use Diggs or Davis to attack down field. Sanders will do well when teams play man. I feel like Sanders and Allen were a bit off due to the limited time together. I think Davis needs to be on the field more. Rotate the wrs more. Keep them fresh. Why dress 6 if you dont really rotate any of them?
