Late in the year Butler played good enough for a space eater plus. Jefferson was obvious, Brown same thing. I think Adison is likley a placeholder. If they sign someone better he is moving on.

Chris Simms Has Zach Wilson Ahead Of Trevor Lawrence?

He is also putting his name on. He is right, most of the people who talk about the draft go off hearsay. Group think sort of speak. He over uses Me and I because he doesnt believe many people actually come to their own conclusions. Goes back to his early Bleacher report days. He firmly believes most people on TV talk about teams and players without actually ever watching them or the games during the season. As a Bills fan is obvious that he is right. I enjoy his opinions on players and games because he rarely talks about it without putting the effort into first. -
Spotrac: freeing up cap space for Bills

I think 2019 was his best season. I dont think Brown reaches that again. If no upgrade is available I keep him. If they can find a vetbto replace him ir draft a wr high I would understand it. -
Texans coaching staff on Watt - bitter or truthful?
Mat68 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last season inside of a dumpster fire I bet some of it is real. Now, is that who he is? I bet not. A couple weeks of the season he probably did somethings he regrets but it got him out of the building. Watson has been a model leader and is going to end up staying. -
So do a Diggs type deal this year for a DE?

I think a decent lineman will be available in FA. Also, Buffalo is in a decent spot to draft one at the end of Rd 1. -
Bills have made JJ Watt’s top 3... per JJ Watt(Edit Not Him)
Mat68 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Makes sense to me. He was a guy that was under recruited. Went to a navigational michigan MAC team before transfering to Wi. He is treating it like a recruit would. At this point the teams are the teams. Im sure McBeane would like him to sign before the league year so they can still get compensatory picks in 22. -

Buffalo is chasing KC. Need a stronger front 4 and faster back 7. Jj brings to the D what Diggs brought to the offense. -
At 32 Watt still has solid years left. Historicly, pass rushers age well. Bruce had 5 double digit sack years 32 and older. Strahan had 18.5 sack at 32. Reggie White was still a beast til his final season. Watt isnt just a bend and around the corner rusher. He has technique and power. I think he will warrant the money. If Buffalo wants to win it all this is the type of move to make. Do it before the league year starts he wont count against the supplemental pick equation.

I would take Watt over Butler and Addison. Thats the money...

I would push hard for Watt. Offset the cost by cutting Addison and Jefferson. Hes got 3 to 4 solid years left. The kind of rotation Mcdermott utilizes will allow him to stay healthier and play longer. 32, 33, and 34 still near prime years. He would be the king of Bills Mafia.

The Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl Debate
Mat68 replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Reid in big games, and most games abandons the run. Problem was Buffalo is a zone team what they did KC expected. Tampa was a blitz heavy team. Bltiz twice early with some success then stopped completely. Honestly, Bills issue was team speed on defense. -
What show? He got them to 11 wins??. Nick Foles won every meaningful game for the Eagles in that stretch. They made a mistake trading Foles. They could have paid Foles half they paid Wentz and gotten way more for him back then.

I would like the red helmet return. Maybe a metallic red. I grew up the Bills were dominate they wore red helmets. Maybe its nestalgia but its what I like. Keep the same unis though.

The Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl Debate
Mat68 replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen played better vs Kc than Mahomes played in the Superbowl. Every great throw Mahomes made after running around was in triple coverage through a defenders hands, slightly tipping the ball and resulting in the miss play of the WR. It is overblown. Allen gets killed for the same thing Mahomes gets praise for. -
Source: LB Matt Milano looking for “top dollar” in FA

Weakside 4-3 bakers are not usually market setters. Im skeptical he pulls anything over 10 a year. -

This is the year maybe Buffalo gets some discounts. Milano 1 year 8 or 9 mil seems like an option. If he gets a long term deal good on him. Idk if he pulls a massive deal. -
Mcshay Mock has Najee Harris to Buffalo
Mat68 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
30 is usually a wasteland position. Basically, not a big differance from 25 to 50. I really think if Etinne or Harris are on the board its a very interesting position to have. Do you take an off the ball non mike baker, edge with athletism with little production, a tackle who projects to a guard, a 1 or 0 tech DT. Im not saying Buffalo doesnt have a need for any of those positions but there is a decent amount of risk for each. I feel Buffalo is going into the offense looking to get more effective running the ball and more speed on defense. I understand dont draft a runningback til day 3 and all that. Without a trade down I expect as pure guy to guy rb will be closer to elite players than other positions. -
The Mahomes clan article
Mat68 replied to loveorhatembillsfan4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Idc what any one says. Nothing is uncatchable for a guy thats 6-5 and runs 4.4. The defender stopped him from making an attempt at the ball. Both plays clean he gets a hand on the ball. -
You draft a linebaker he is the same age as Edmunds. Back 2 back Pro Bowls, played hurt. He is a building block on defense.
