  1. This year is shot to the brow of the Patriot way. Also, the establishment mindset in the NFL. Arians is the complete opposite of NE, and traditional NFL thought. He wasnt coach material with the ways he carried himself for much of his career. The NFL is about dudes. Yes, smart coaches with managment and coaches working together is needed. You win by having the best players and the best humans at chuking the pigskin. Chris Simms is a hardcore football guy. Played a game with a punctured spleen. His first year out of fooball went to be a coach in NE and said "Nope", after the year. Hes brought uo how other coaches laugh at his experiance and it doesnt need to be that way. They feel thats what make them better. No guys it was the GOAT at qb. I understand both converging made it a rediculous run. Subtract the GOAT from the equation lets see what happens going forward with that same mindset and player treatment. Imo much of the NFL sees NE as football hell. Without the great players playing for less I dont see it working in 2021 and beyond.
  2. With Allen the benefit of now vs 2 years from now. You pick up the 5th year option and extend 4,5,6, 7 years. Next year and the 5th year you picked up cap hit is the same. Its really a 6,7,8,9 year total deal. The reason the player does it? The guaranteed money, a large % is given upfront. Money paid to a player as signing bonus can be spread to any year of the contract as the cap hit. With brown you would be spreading the hit out further down the line. The question Buffalo has to ask themselves. Is he on the back 9? And where. Smaller fast guys age quick. Lower leg injuries steals their only weapon. Possesion style plays vs coverage imo he struggles with. Without seperation he disapears very quickly. In the following years is he going to be better than this year. Your just stealing from the future cap. With Allen I dont think thats a good idea. In 3 years the Qb hit is coming. I think Buffalo has a number with Milano. Also, he was a late pick. I like Mcdermott with bakers. Imo i put money on offense and realy on Mcdermott for the defense. He can put a solid group together. Duck tape in some mid level vets and I think he can make a scappy unit.
  3. Hes getting cut no need to trade for him. It comes down to money. I expect some poorly run franchise to pay him like its 2011.
  4. Running game, te and speed is going to be the concentration this offseason.
  5. I dont know if it was the end of Indy game or start of Baltimore, but he rolled his ankle and wasnt the same. Couldnt get seperation. Seemed to lack the burst hes shown before. Same goes for John Brown. Davis looks to be a player and could be the second or third option on offense in 21. Brown being older and reallying only on speed I could see him being restructered or cut. I would like Buffalo to extend Mckenzie and Stills. I think Buffalo needs leggs in the Wr room. I would transistion Mckenzie to Roberts role and keep grooming him for slot behind Beasley.
  6. A solid lineman is always good. Seems to me OT gets overdrafted now due to lack of olineman play across the league. I like edge but the rawness will concern me.
  7. Who.... what position. You may not like him as a player. Offering no alternative there is no way to know what your version of higher value means. Harris is a second rd grade. Who do you have graded as late first rder. The guys availble late rd as I stated are all trait guys. Oweh from PSU for example is considered late first. Little college production height/weight/speed guy.
  8. They didnt need to do anything differant. They had guys open for days. Buffalo got abused. Buffalo has to figure out a way to beat Kc. They dont have the cash to change out half the roster. In the draft they have 8 chances to improve the team. At 30 what guy you got? Harris is the thread so ya I would consider it. What player you suspect will be available who is an improvement. Top Olineman ok but is a 3rd rd prospect top rated available at the time? Jones is a FA doubt they sign him.
  9. The second half didnt look much differant either. The yards picked up when Kc let up the gas.
  10. Our Qb darn near ran for 90 of those. Im not married to anyone at 30. Without a possible trade down a rb will be an option compared to trait Des imo. I understand not drafting a back til day 3. For a pretty well build team there is not alot of plug and play options.
  11. Not having a plan B did. I think Beanes presser will be telling. Mcdermott really only talking about the running game is something to follow. Last year Beane and Mcdermott said they needed to score more points. I think they need speed on defense. Whether edge or Cb. Imo the 30's is no mans land in most drafts trade back or pick a starter imo.
  12. So if Moss was healthy do you feel we beat Kc?
  13. No, why does having an above average back mean run first. Same offense this year. Have a guy to run on possibly over 5 and 6 man boxes. When teams do what they did in the playoffs next year how does Buffalo react?
  14. No philosphy change required. I could see oline being the pick too possible te heck even Wr. The find a rb anywhere hasnt really panned out. See moss and Singeltary. So with the value of rbs being low most likley Buffalo can pick the top one at 30. Of the remaining prospects who also is an immmediate starter and upgrade? 5th or 6th Ot. 3rd or 4th Cb 3rd or 4th edge. 4 or 5th wr? Baker? Saftey? Te? Having a solid roster with no glarring hole a rb at 30 is on the table. Indeed. Backs grow on trees except in Orchard Park apparently...
  15. He wont make it to the 60's. If Buffalo gets him at 33 is that a big differance in your eyes? I dont really buy into rd grades. 30 is 3 picks to rd 2. Caliber of player and athlete vs others. Whos ready tomorrow whos ready in 22? Those are all factors.
  16. Plug and play on offense vs project/ elite traits edge? I think its an argument to be had.
  17. I think Buffalo would give him a very long look. Stud athlete. Shows pretty good hands. In todays NFL with Buffalo and Allens offense give him a power running game. Spread them out and having Harris run on 6 man boxes. This is the way imo.
  18. Dont hate Carson. Honestly, I dont hate having a power back with some juice. Sherman doesnt help us vs Kc. Every move from here on out is with Kc in mind. Draft, Fa, resignings, FO everything is chasing Kc.
  19. Im curious if the other Alabama wr will be available at 30. Coming off his ankle injury with no work outs or combine I think he could make it. Last year and coming into this year Waddle was the highest projected wr for Alabama. Pipe dream? Maybe. Clming out of thr KC game the Bills need more speed on offense.
  20. A more explosive player in the backfield is how its improved. With Allen becoming a stud you dont want to remove the ball but having a guy that the defense needs to think about will open other things up. Now do I pay alot for one? No.
  21. I have and think its smart. Thkse wanting to wait til the last minute are who I was refering too.
  22. They had plenty of chances to score. Buffalo didnt have the plays to do it. Do you have any faith those would be TDs. I think the game got away from them. I dont like it. I questioned it than. Overall, now I think Buffalo gets stopped and the game is lost much earlier.
  23. You might be able to get 35 a year now. You play hard ball you turn the business switch and competitive nature of the player will come out. If he plays better than Mahomes next year wins the MVP do you pay him more than Mahomes?
  24. As much as I think going for it made sense in both instances, I questioned the likley hood of either being converted. Take away the muffed punt 3 yardline start, Buffalo was dreadful in the redzone offensively all night. Seemed like Kc had Buffalo figured out all night.
