  1. If he came to an agreement with Philly he wouldnt be in this position. I dont think Buffalo would lower his "salary". But pay him more money and lower his cap hit.
  2. Beane go help out Philly and Chicago. Get Mack and Ertz for a bag of chips.
  3. I assume rb. Older cb. Either way they will be team fits no real splash guy.
  4. I dont believe most of these reports. Buffalo signs em and its announced they never are the ones on these long drawn out things.
  5. Interested how Smith and Henry perform sharing targets and entering an offense with lesser qb play than both had last year.
  6. Go back a few years. This will closer resemble Mcdermotts first offseason. No big names but I expect 1 middle level FA and the rest lower tier depth guys. Patriots are spending like a team desperate. Overpaying for alotnof guys. It looks to be like one last stand for Bill. Im not that concerned. If they pull off Watson or Wilson I will change my tune, but as of now they are where we were 4 to 5 years ago.
  7. Hunt for a 5th rd and Beane just beat the offseason before the draft.
  8. Kept the line together, thats a big deal. Milano is a big part of the defense. No glaring needs. Just find guys that make the team better.
  9. Davis they may see as a possible #2. He got bodied by Ravens and Chiefs. I think they will add and not really on Hodgins and Davis making massive leaps.
  10. With the amount of OGs on the market I think you are seeing league wide where teams prioritize them. I dont see Buffalo drafting a lineman who they think is only a guard. Edge, corner, OT, Wr are the premier positions and expect Buffalo to go in one of those directions at 30. Losing Brown and possibly Mckenzie I think Wr may be higher on the list than the others.
  11. After bringing Williams and Milano back I think Buffalo goes Toney or Randale Moore at 30. Someone who can do the Mckenzie stuff plus grow into Browns role. Buffalo has prioritized seperation and speed over size.
  12. Pay him 8 mil push it to next years cap.
  13. 44 mil seemed like a decent deal for both sides. Am I wrong or is his cap hit in 21 5 mil? If so Buf still has workable room left. Imo any updrade on the dline comes at the expense of Addison. He is good enough to stay but an upgrade makes him expendable.
  14. Late in the year Butler played good enough for a space eater plus. Jefferson was obvious, Brown same thing. I think Adison is likley a placeholder. If they sign someone better he is moving on.
  15. He is also putting his name on. He is right, most of the people who talk about the draft go off hearsay. Group think sort of speak. He over uses Me and I because he doesnt believe many people actually come to their own conclusions. Goes back to his early Bleacher report days. He firmly believes most people on TV talk about teams and players without actually ever watching them or the games during the season. As a Bills fan is obvious that he is right. I enjoy his opinions on players and games because he rarely talks about it without putting the effort into first.
  16. I think 2019 was his best season. I dont think Brown reaches that again. If no upgrade is available I keep him. If they can find a vetbto replace him ir draft a wr high I would understand it.
  17. Last season inside of a dumpster fire I bet some of it is real. Now, is that who he is? I bet not. A couple weeks of the season he probably did somethings he regrets but it got him out of the building. Watson has been a model leader and is going to end up staying.
  18. I think a decent lineman will be available in FA. Also, Buffalo is in a decent spot to draft one at the end of Rd 1.
  19. Maybe on a 1 year prove it deal. Late in the year knee injury is tough. I think Buffalo needs to isolate a player or 2. Reguardless of position.
  20. Makes sense to me. He was a guy that was under recruited. Went to a navigational michigan MAC team before transfering to Wi. He is treating it like a recruit would. At this point the teams are the teams. Im sure McBeane would like him to sign before the league year so they can still get compensatory picks in 22.
  21. Buffalo is chasing KC. Need a stronger front 4 and faster back 7. Jj brings to the D what Diggs brought to the offense.
  22. At 32 Watt still has solid years left. Historicly, pass rushers age well. Bruce had 5 double digit sack years 32 and older. Strahan had 18.5 sack at 32. Reggie White was still a beast til his final season. Watt isnt just a bend and around the corner rusher. He has technique and power. I think he will warrant the money. If Buffalo wants to win it all this is the type of move to make. Do it before the league year starts he wont count against the supplemental pick equation.
  23. I would take Watt over Butler and Addison. Thats the money...
  24. I would push hard for Watt. Offset the cost by cutting Addison and Jefferson. Hes got 3 to 4 solid years left. The kind of rotation Mcdermott utilizes will allow him to stay healthier and play longer. 32, 33, and 34 still near prime years. He would be the king of Bills Mafia.
