Jesse James drawing interest from Bills
Mat68 replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So If Buffalo draft or trade for a better options he is in waiting? I like it. James, Holister and Knox is still an upgrade over smith, Kroft, Knox. I think Buffalo goes Te on day 2. -
David Njoku, TE Browns, on the trading block...

The dude is still only 22. Will be 23 when the season starts. 2 so what probowls. He isnt done getting better imo. Leonard is 3 years older at 25 and 26. I think Edmunds will be a destroyer at 25 and 26. -

I would take him in a sec. Big and athletic. In our offense he would be very good. Imo he just needs targets. Im very high on him. Imo seems the change of coaching staffs caused him to fall out of favor. Not "their guy" type of thing. -
Who’s the ONE guy you want the Bills to draft no matter what!!?

Lawerence and Sewell. Opt outs makes this year differant than most imo. -

Most picks are a crap shoot. Miles Garret, Julio Jones, Jalen Ramsey, Quinton Nelson the list goes on and on. There are players who are deemed sure fire guys. No one doubted them. Poor run teams get cute and trade out for more picks. Those cases rarely work out. The Jets have a track record lf drafting bad. Them having a bunch of picks means nothing until they turn them into guys. -

Shaq Lawson is exactly what player he was. Passing on Julio Jones and numerous other players is why the Browns were down for as long as they were. At the end of the day you need to find dudes. The Patriots havent drafted anyone in a decade and is why Brady left. -

Draft capital is a lie. 1 great pick is better than 3 or 5 random picks. The other teams need to prove they can actually draft well. Miami missed Huebert. Miami, NY and Ne passed on Lamar Jackson. -
State of the Bills Roster 3 weeks into FA

I suspect Edge rusher and Cb are high on the draft board. I think with everything equal thats where they go. Watching Chris Simms positional break downs I think both his top edge and cb could be on the table. Jalean Phillips and Caleb Farley have some injury questions. Teams could take them off their boards or drop them significantly. Imo Buffalo is positioned to take risks with them. -
Harris didnt play in an I formation offense at Alabama. I think there offense is as close to ours as you could find in college. Its an interesting idea but idk. Runningback is not a priority imo. Edge rusher, Cb, or pass catcher imo are more premium positions. I dont see the organization putting that much into rb.

Jets' draft ammo is crazy right now

They still need to draft and develop. Something they havent done since Parcells. -

Having someone outside other than Diggs who can get open will help alot. When you send Diggs and he is doubled the play goes down hill fast. Diggs has been the most productive deep wr since he entered the league. Having the ability to use him at all levels will open the offense and make him and the offense harder to handle. Brown couldnt win consistently. Sanders is more polished. -

Sanders is an upgrade over Brown in pretty much every way. Is he as fast? Probably not. Can he beat coverage better he can. 10 to 20 yards is where the game is won. He is way better in this window. He is not the long term answer. I think Buffalo drafts a wr early but for 21 Sanders is #2. He allows Diggs to play more vertical as well. -
Could Cody Ford be the key to the offense improving this year?
Mat68 replied to DCofNC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Coming out he was one of the top guards with OT ability. Imo Felicano and Ford a guard gives the Oline a nastyness to the run game. They didnt get to see what the run game looks like with Mongo and Ford pulling and knocking heads. Sounds bad with how people remember him at OT. Ford at guard could be a linch pin in the oline. -
Rondale Moore.....trade down and snag this monster.

If they feel he is Tyrick Hill. Idk. Toney at Fl could be, Atwell at Lousiville. There is like 4 to 5 of the same guy. Whos the best athlete, whos the best wr. -

Im not going to complain about Buffalo adding to the offense. I think DE and Cb are areas of need. Buffalo is ok at either for 21. If they add a differance maker to oair with Diggs I think the offense could be even better. Give Allen more answers and he will find the right guy. -
Dont hate it. The benefit of having little holes they can afford to take a chance on Phillips. Seemsike the most gifted edge player in the draft. I coming down to edge, wr, cb. I think if you can find a 10 year de you take him. Then I would look for a guy who can play man opposite of White. If neither is available or they feel like they can add a playermaker on offense go for it. Field punts, return kick and manufactor touches for.

Bills opening stadium discussions with NYS and Erie County
Mat68 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Basicly 500 mil brings Buffalo to bottom third in stadium quality. For another 500 mil they probably have a top 10 or 5 stadium. Instead of a frat party they can make the in stadium experiance better. As much as tailgating got us through the 20 years of suffering the league and Pegulas are not a fan of it. To answer the economics are little to any impact. Imo having a nice stadium to an owner is the same as having a franchise qb. Also, a Billionaire doesnt want to be told by anyone that something he has is outdated... -

Fairley or Waddle. Shutdown Cb to pair with White or a blazer outside to give anoyher dimension to the offense. Hopefully, the medical scares some teams away early. -

Without the combine its hard to compare some of these guys. Having Toney, both Moores, Autwell and even Durdin on the same field side by side its tough to differentiate. Who rises above the rest. I feel like they all have about .1 faster 40 and .1 of inch and 10 more pds at their prodays. -

Beasley and Sanders are in their 30's. If you cant stop KC out score em. -

There are a few wrs who are options at 30. I dont know where Moore shakes out. Everyone is running sub 4.4 w/o lazer timing. I like his explosion. At 30 I would like edge, Cb, or pass catcher.
