Ok Allen #2 in MVP Mahomes #3 case closed?

Call it make believe call it what you wish. If you are comparing Mahomes and Allen why cant you compare the players around them aswell? Yes, Mahomes came out of the gates flying. It took Allen sometime. I believe the situation Allen played in over his career contributed to his production and early on lack there of.

Buffalo drafts Mahomes. He wins the Superbowl in Buffalo? Yes, Mahomes has more accelades and was better sooner. Last year Allen finished ahead of Mahomes in MVP. Not crazy to think Allen does it again. Now 2 guys entering 21 are in similar positions. Because of 18 and 19 you want Mahomes? Fine. Call me a homer for liking Allen thats fine. It also doeant mean im wrong either.

Too many people cant remove circumstances from player evaluation. Also, first impressions are hard to over come. Both are against Allen. As a rookie he had to be superman to win games. Playing that way he made some ugly plays. Mahomes makes bone head plays as much as Allen but everyone remembers this dude in KC throwing Bombs to Hill and dimes to Kelce his first year. The system and players matter espically at the highest level.

Replace Jon Brown and Cole beasley. With Hill and Kelce. Plus, Hardmon, Watkins and either Willaims out the backfield. Mahomes doesnt win a superbowl or MVP throwing to the dudes Allen had. Diggs is the only skill player that starts for Kc right now. As a rookie he has Jones, Benjamin, and Holmes.... Allen gave Beasley, Brown, and Diggs career years. They made him though?

Cant hurt. He has the tool. Lets see if year 3 he can ball. Te is a position that take time and nuance. Picking things up from Kittle, Kelce and pretty much every top 10 TE cant hurt. He didnt play te til late. Was in a college offense that didnt know how to use him.

The world never got wild horse Mahomes. Allen was on a bad team. For every bad play, he made a good one and added an unreal play that was on the money and dropped. Year 2 Allen does what year 2 Mahomes does in KC. And Year 3 we saw what he did. Its not a homer. Allen had to figure it out on the job without a saftey net. I think Mcdermott feels better about the defense vs KC following the game in Buf vs the AFCC. Now he doesnt want to get knocked around, and he wants to stop it "when" he wants to. Overall, Buffalo plays the averages. I listen to Warren Sharp when he talks about Buffalo. He is pretty deep in the analyatics of offense. I think its no suprise Buffalo leads the league in passing on 1st down and is near the bottom of the league stopping the run on first down.

He would be the equivlant to a 6th man in the NBA. They all are not playing every snap. The wont play 4 wide all game either. But man thats an explosive offense. You could argue Buffalo would have the weapons that Tompa Bay and Kc has maybe even better. Go for it. The Bucs and Chiefs are not going away gotta go beat them.

2 down run stuffers are becoming 2 down linebakers. Its been proven running on first down and second down is the least efficent way to play offense. I think Mcdermott welcomes it. Almost dares you to do it. Run the ball and create 0 offensive rythem. When you need a pass you wont be able to do it.

I dont see the comparison. Rousseau is is skinny at 260. Maybin blew up to 240 at the combine and I dont he ever played over 230 in the NFL. Maybin got his sack turning the corner around tes and Rts in the Big 10. Rousseau had more variance and ability in 1 year at the position. I get you see those videos at rookie camp and he looks small. Hes 6-7 260 plus. He is prototypical size. He has elite get off. Thats the best thing. Watch JJ watt sacks. 90% of his sacks are what Rousseau did.

Buffalo having a high grade on Rousseau tells you they dont agree with the internet scouts that label him a project.

There were guys who dressed at De on game day for there special teams ability. They got in rotation. At worst Rousseau is a massive upgrade over them. I think he has a chance to push Addison, and Epenesa for ligitament playing time.
