Tough to compare last week vs this week. Buffalo is a team specific game plan. Espically, in the playoffs. I think this is why they experimented with 3 Lbs for a significant time in the first half vs Miami. I think Klien sees the field a good amount. Baltimore will run 2 3 te sets with a fb. Nickle wont hold up consistantly. I think they try to feel the flow. Ideally, a db needs to be positioned to where Jackson runs. Whether its a nickleback or saftey.

Roberts inactive this week is my prediction...

Why go changing things now? You dance with who brought ya. Buffalo are who they are. Buffalo plays there game. Possible elements coming into play, Roberts is consistent and second team all-pro hes playing. -
Its all about Match ups. I assume Baltimore does the man blitz thing. Allen has crushed that all year. On defense will Jackson dice up the Bills defense in 8 yard chunks all the way down the field? They win that way I think we would all be suprised. Keep Lamar in pocket and have athletes on the edge to slow down Jacksons run. Buffalo does on defense they did last year i think Buffalo puts up more points and wins.

Jones is listed as a back, but is special teams not offense. As said above. Elevate Williams, Freeman fills that PS slot. Im curious to see who get gets activated. I assume Yeldon gets some play. For how Baltimore plays I think Yeldon could actually have an impact. They are pretty good at Cb. Yeldon on a lb could be a matchup to take advatange of. Whether its vs Zone or man. Is it Saturday yet?

Does anyonw know if the exemption changes for the playoffs? PS changes drastically in the playoffs so possible? Its the NFL program would they allow it for the positive story and use it as a success. -
All blues I would guess

Possible lake effect snow Saturday night. Most likley playing Baltimore. I think you go Williams. Might be an ugly game.

Yeldon is better as a pass catcher. Next week do they want to run between the tackles or get rbs on backers as a favorable matchup? I think Yeldon fits the offense better. Against Baltimore or Pittsburgh I like Yeldon on their backers. Its an element the offense hasnt been heavily utilized. On the other side Williams brings a silimar running style to Moss.

Why add the pressure of needing a win to get paid. Allen is who he is. Buffalo wins easily if Allen plays well. If Allen has a few turnovers its a closer game. Allen is the only qb i remember playing Qb here who can overcome a turnover deficiet. They havent seen his arm before. I think this game resembles that of the 49ers game. Minus the moss fumble.

WILD CARD Playoff 1/9/21 Bills vs. Colts PreGame Thread

This team has played in prime time, played top teams. Except for the weird covid stretch they played well. Buffalo plays well they win. They dont need to be perfect and they win. Buffalo scores 30 again 31 to 19. -
No. In his third year he is seeing the field and finding himself. I know enviornments matter, but I dont see how Allen doesnt kill it with OBJ and Landry. He goes 1 he is where he is now. Fans no fans. I really feel like Allen is the last one who gets credit for making himself a guy. Kobes trainer or shooting coach didnt make Kobe great. It was Kobe.

Round 1 Playoff: Colts at Bills - Sat. 1/9 1:05pm

Agree the man on man on man aspect is not Ideal. Buffalo ran zone read slant alot in the first half. Where its impressive is Dabolls understanding of the defense he is facing. 0 blitz the ball has to come out on the first hitch. The defense is designed to create an extra bltizer. The coverage guys expect this. Jones had inside leverage and was playing to stop the slant. Mckenzie didnt need to stone wall the saftey just slow him down for Allen to drop it over the top. No saying how the defense plays 2 wr on the same side they probably dont call that bltiz with another te in the game. Daboll had a read on what the defense would do to stop a staple play and had a play to beat it for a TD. Pretty good stuff. -

Philly 2 gloves in the cold good luck. Buffalo gets out early to a lead, slow Taylor and Phillip will hand us rhe game. -
1. Cheap reactions and views. 2. He is a diehard Cheifs fan. He knows Buffalo is a scary opposition to KC. He doesnt want Allen coming into KC with bells on. There are 2 outcomes. 1. Buffalo lose in the playoffs and he can say hes the smartest guy in the room. 2. Say he was blinded by his Chief fandom.

This year there is a fine crop. The Te from PSU at 32 makes sense to me. -
I know he put one on the turf in Denver but he is too consistent not to be used. Punts and kickoffs he routinley switches field position and for the most part catches everything. Ugly punts in Buffalo need to be fielded so we can flip field position. Going into next season? I would put Mckenzie in the spot all year. Save some money open up a spot on the roster and Wr room. Stills is wr insurance from Covid or injury. Going into 2021 is a solid wr addition to the team that also doesnt play into comp pick calculation.

A Few Thoughts About the Dolphins Game, in no particular order
Mat68 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe it was Cossell. If you see a Qb that throws the check down or fade it means they are not seeing the feild at all. He looks pretty bad. Herbert, Burrough look like they are miles apart from Tua. Heck Hurts looks more promising in my eyes. I really hope they keep him. They trade down or take a Wr or Tackle at 3. They woukd be making a hige mistake staying with Tua. -
Can we trust Josh Norman in a playoff game?
Mat68 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Depends on the type of game the refs call. Playoffs refs usually let them play more. That would favor Normans style. He attacks the football better than Wallace. I could see Norman making a play or two if Buffalo makes a long run.
