I kinda like the idea of signing Suh, drafting Ed Oliver who is physically off the charts but still a bit raw with his technique and pass rushing and letting him learn. Suh from all accounts is an incredibly smart guy, could be a great person for Oliver to learn from

Morsea andGore help Allen by both being excellent at pass protection for their position, and smart with respect diagnosing plays. They want to help Allen by letting those around do as much of the thinking as possible, let them manage protections etc. It makes a huge amount of sense as a signing, and shows they aren't just looking at talent, but how it links together

Some people are being crazily unrealistic. A lot of teams have a lot of money in free agency. O line are scarce and demand really high. Realistically we might get 1 top class starter ie. Paradis / Morse / Williams. There are only about 8 really good O linemen in FA, unless we go crazy, we won't get more than 1 He got 4 starters, and a rotational player in Phillips, that isn't mediocre....

Ed Oliver. On the simple basis the drop off from round 1 to round 2 is a lot bigger at DT than other positions like WR, OL and TE. To maximise draft value, he makes the most sense. Whenever I try 7 round mock simulators, I also seem to get the best draft with Oliver at 9

The Giants can't afford to trade him, they would have something crazy like $34m in dead cap THIS YEAR if they do.
