He needs to win 1 if not 2 Super Bowls to have any chance, right now his chances are less than 10%. There is already a backlog and a lot of certainties are coming up. He has never been top 3 at his position at any point nor win anything meaningful.
Right now it doesn't matter. No one cares about his performances his year. Like Allen he has shown moments of potential and moments of rookie stupidity.
You don't judge players after 1 year
I hate that attitude. Cap space and savings matters as much this year as any. It gives you opportunities for signing and contract renewals, even if you roll over cap space, which helps you in future years

Amari Cooper has a few good games every once in a while, then disappears.
Even given the state of our WR I wouldn't take the Cooper deal with hindsight, he is about to enter free agency and is incredibly inconsistent
Right now, I don't think you could judge any QB properly behind that line.
I think he is right to. Running around gives him a better chance of survival than standing behind a crumbling O line
