  1. They won't get rid of Anderson. They want him as a mentor for Allen
  2. 77 yards on the season suggests the Bills aren't missing much
  3. No way. What you gain on the field from him, you lose in the wider locker room. So you are overall worse team, AND you have to deal with all the off field consequences. Even whether can accept his signing on moral grounds, and I can't. I can't see why you'd make your team worse by signing him
  4. Which is why he asked about the Jets..... Jackson would easily number 5 for me. As a QB he has been terrible. As soon as defenses get some tape on him, they'll stop the run and the world will wake up to how bad a thrower he is.
  5. Apparently the sky is blue too.
  6. At the moment, he would my number 1 target. I suspect we'll be draft too late to get him, but he was there, he'd be such an obvious pick.
  7. Phillips has yet to show he has much pass rush so a pass rushing DT is an option, DE too. Furthermore we definitely need to draft a CB, we have a massive problem that we have 1 outside CB. It'll be offense heavy, but we'll definitely draft defense too
  8. You're living in 2017. The Jags D hasn't been great this season, it's rarely if ever in the top 5 of any rankings. The Bills D is significantly better than the Jags this season
  9. We've played better defenses this year.
  10. We have serious problems at DE and CB. And no depth at DT. Absolutely we will draft defensive players at some point on days 1 or 2
  11. They could have been scouting any of about 15 players.
  12. It's no worse than players having a scrap in training camp. Or you see multiple times across the league every week.
  13. I think Ed Oliver is one of the most likely Bills draft candidates if we draft top 10. He fits a natural need as Kyle Williams replacement. The coach is the one at fault, not helped by that interview, its a stupid rule and I can see why a player would react
  14. I think he'll easily earn it back. He'll be paid like a good WR. If Sammy Watkins can earn $16m a year. I'm certain Bell can.
  15. It's irrelevant to compare the likes of Bell to other running backs. He fills both a WR and RB role, just like David Johnson. There a small number of players who you would call skill players, not RB or WR. Tyreek Hill is another coming from the other direction. They play both positions They will command a higher figure. You need to look at WR numbers for Bell not RB ones.
  16. Five words. WE WILL NOT GET ANY!
  17. Every TD would be 20+ yards from outside the redzone TE I wouldn't spend on. Great TEs don't reach FA so you end up doing what we did with Clay. Pay top money for average. I'd prefer we just draft until we find one
  18. We aren't getting comp picks. We have a load of cap space and very few free agents leaving. We won't be anywhere close to getting comp picks. Cutting Benjamin wouldn't change that. Given the cap/free agent situation, there isn't a team less likely to get comp picks, aside from possibly the Jets Yes he counts, no it won't matter. To get comp picks you need to sign less free agents than you let go. The Bills have loads of cap space, and very few agents. I know people love the idea of comp picks, but this year it ain't happening. No chance. Zero.
  19. No, which is precisely why it's the thing to do. You have a chance to test someone for a few games with very little risk, the Bills have very little to play for now, so you may as well use the time to help next season. You have a 6 game tryout period Benjamin is not being re-signed at the end of the season, and there is nothing more to learn about him
  20. This. Although finding true WR1s is very hard. I think we to find a contested catch player, either at TE or WR I was a big advocate of going after Tyrell Williams in FA, he is a proper field stretching speedster, but also a good WR, maybe Foster could fill that role.
  21. We pay his salary whatever we do. Personally I'd rather cut him and use his roster on a young player who we spend a few seeing if they have value for the future
  22. No chance we'll get comp picks. With so much cap space we'll be active in free agency and sign far more free agents than we lose If you are going to make him inactive you may as well cut him. It doesn't change the amount of money we pay him but you can use the roster spot for someone who could be active. Making him inactive makes little sense
  23. He hasn't even managed one GOOD season in his career
  24. One of the most tired fan clichés in the sport. Which very rarely ever happens
  25. Hyde and Poyer were McDermott acquisitions.....
