I supported Kaepernick's message about police violence, just not his choice to do it ON THE JOB. If you worked in a call center and campaigned for this or preached for that to every customer calling in to pay their bill, you would be fired real quick. Like when that woman refused to issue marriage licenses because of her personal objections to equality laws.

Also the poll is actually a different question than the thread title. A general "Remove OJ?" is a different subject than if NOW is the time to remove him. The title presupposes that he should be removed, and puts emphasis on specifically the timing of it.

Don't know why prices are high? Dude it's a new multi billion dollar mega stadium in Vegas. And why would teams give special privileges to season ticket holders of opposing teams? They generally try to do the opposite.

That's what I figured just from the title without even having to read the article, I don't see how that's so hard to understand. Whenever the powers that be throw their regularly scheduled hissy fit at Buffalo to build a new stadium, the Pegulas just have to point to these inflated costs. These big construction projects are just too loosely regulated with too many back alley kickbacks for there not to be corruption. In Montreal where the mob basically runs construction, you're lucky if your costs only balloon to triple the original budget. Even my humble little city of 133,000 isn't immune to millions lost to embezzlement with the bridge refurbishment we did. Contract got outsourced to a non-local company who predictably bilked our region for every penny they could leading to investigations and whatnot.

Yet another idiot that has his blinders on to harp on the "harsh price" of the Diggs trade, while ignoring the team friendly contract, the Covid-interrupted offseason hampering rookie development, and the fact that it was actually a very fair price for a top 10 receiver. We're in a push for playoff wins this year and he wants us to develop a second tier rookie WR (because blah blah deep WR draft blah blah) into a better-than-Diggs star without an offseason. I'll take the tried and tested plug-and-play #1 WR seven days a week.

$40m seems like a bargain compared to Dak in a similar sense that we "overpaid" for Diggs compared to BOB's shenanigans. I think the NFL should adopt an NHL style individual player (at least QB) salary cap.

It's not 45 PER year (as in 180 for 4 years), it's 45 for A year. Specifically the last year of the 4 year deal he wants and less than 45 for each of the first 3 years. Still ridiculous, but get it straight.

That attitude of "comon who hasn't engaged in a bit of light felonious action" to defend their favorite celebrities is surprising common on social media. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't think military service should be the automatic pass to esteem and hero status that most seem to feel. The military spends a crap load of money advertising to reinforce the idea that service is still the pinnacle of nobility and necessary to our safety (hasn't been for decades) because they make that much more money in return.

My favorite watch is an old digital Casio I picked out of a junk box for $5 at a local auction, and it amazingly still worked. If I was given a $15k watch, I'd sell it to buy a new gaming computer, fix up and upgrade my car, and have plenty left over to pick up a good used winter car.

That just looks weird to me. Home team is supposed to go on the right (road @ home rather than home vs road) unless it is soccer I think.

We might have 5 as well. The Denver game is only listed as TBD Saturday or Sunday. That would be 4 games in a row.

Hot damn, with the Denver game TBD, we could have 4 prime time games in a row (and 5 overall) if things go well.
