Glad we got the pick - but we got lucky on a terrible throw. He was pretty open. -

Good thing we're playing a bad team today. Gotta remember we're down Coleman & Cooper. JA is trying to do a bit too much. -

I think he's been great this season. Really off today though. -
Sad for Dak. Seems like a good dude. But Jerry Jones? I hope he's miserable. Truly miserable. I hate to be that negative, but it's just reality.

Honestly, as long as we get him & most of the guys back by the playoffs. Feels like the division is over, and I like our chances in most of the remaining games regardless. We just need to (finally) be relatively healthy for the playoffs.

Pats fans are over the moon about Maye, and think their return to power is inevitable. I watched most of their game last week. Maye was actually quite bad until the last drive. The last play to get to OT was outstanding, but then he threw a terrible pick in OT. I'm a long way from worrying about that guy. The Pats aren't going anywhere anyway - they're run now like we were during the drought, or close to it. The Jets put everything into win now, and there just seems to be something w/ that organization - they can't get out of their own way. They'll have to start from scratch. Miami is the only team I could see being a real threat in the next 3-5 years. Tua is really good if he stays healthy, and they have a decent team around him.

Hopkins was DEFINITELY better in his prime. He's just not in his prime anymore.

Normally, I'd agree. I'm not a conspiracy guy. But you consider some of the crucial calls they've gotten in the playoffs and even SB, and now just about every game this season. That's either a ton of luck & good timing, or something I can't explain. -

Man, the national hate for KC is off the charts now. I think it's actually close to surpassing what we saw for the Patriots. They really do seem to always end up on the positive side of the officiating. The Pats were the same way. I remember when we played them, that part of it was tough, since we needed to play an almost perfect game just to have a chance anyway. -
Do we have to do this every time someone has a good game? This was all the rage about Worthy after his 1st game. Now that we're halfway through the season, I am SO glad we did what we did on draft day. Not that Worthy isn't a good speedster, but he's very one-dimensional, easy to tackle, and seems to lack good instincts on the field. No way would I take him over Coleman.

I was just talking about that w/ a friend. I think we're kicking the PAT every time on that one. -

I kind of low-key think we might be able to blow them out at our place. Hopefully we have some of our guys back in a couple of weeks. -

I'll never get there. I still keep my eye on Pats games hoping they'll lose. KC fans don't bother me nearly as much as NE fans, and Reid is actually very likable. Mahomes, on the other hand.... -

Hopkins was a great pick-up for them. Honestly, I hope we've heard the last of the "why did the Bills give them Worthy?!!!!" thing. Dude is not very impressive. Easy to tackle, and not great instincts. He wouldn't have done much here if we picked him. -
I'd go w/ "more balanced" - especially when we get Milano back. Best running game, too. I can't believe we're in a place where Allen doesn't have to run the ball at all, or very little compared to previous years.

I've been watching the Bills since the '80s. I think this 1:45 wouldn't make my top 100 stressful moments.

Really exhilarating win today. Allen looked fantastic. If not for the Coleman drop/INT, it likely wouldn't have been a nailbiter - but it's nice to see us win a nailbiter, and that was great experience for Bass to have. Blowouts are fun too, but you need to win some games like this & it's valuable for the playoffs to have a few of these in the regular. -
We're winning games - generally because of JA, as per usual. I think it's okay to have a little concern about the defense after how they looked today at home.
-
For starters, I am NOT a defensive mind, at all. But from my viewpoint, it seems like we never press - our CB's and safeties generally drop back and give a ton of cushion, trying to prevent the "big play," but often giving up chunks of yards in the process and long, time-consuming drives. I guess that's often called "bend, don't break." Which can work. But today was rough. Are we lacking personnel? I feel like we have good LB's and a decent enough line, and I like our CB's. Safety is a weak point, but overall, it seems like we're not playing up to our talent level or potential. This is about as bad a defense as I've seen since Allen got here.

If everyone on D played with his mindset, we'd get 4-5 turnovers a game.
