  1. It's actually incredible how people can go to a message board of fans that see KC as their biggest nemesis and expect pure respect & admiration for their team.
  2. This is such a weird game. I've seen Chiefs fans online hoping to win, but noting that they think it's "good luck" for their SB chances when the Bills beat them in the regular. Hate how that's become a thing. And I have to admit I feel some of that - maybe it's good to actually lose, to reverse the narrative that has so clearly been established. But, I believe the best way to blow up that narrative is to win Sunday, win in January, and win it all in February.
  3. Well, sure, when you consider he'll likely get 2 chances w/ some phantom Offside flags.
  4. I always like getting the bye later in the season. It will serve us very well for the home stretch - we have quite a few guys who just need a week off.
  5. That's great news. In the clip I saw yesterday, he seemed to have no problem catching anything. If the wrist is the only issue, I can't see why he wouldn't be able to play given that. But of course, I know nothing.
  6. I won't care about a loss much, particularly since we're on a win streak & basically have the division wrapped up. The only thing that would kind of bum me out is if we get blown out or it's one-sided, like the Ravens game.
  7. I did let it go - until he joked about it w/ Edelman recently.
  8. I don't think I've ever picked against the Bills - but this one feels like KC 23, Bills 17, or somewhere around there. Hopkins is playing well for them, and we could be missing Cooper, Coleman and Kincaid. I just can't see us generating much offense without those guys.
  9. Not as bad as I thought. Only a few guys are limited, DNP. If Cooper plays, I'll feel pretty good heading into the game. If he can't, we'll have to be more creative on offense.
  10. Bills are slight favorites, at home. "Shock" is just a bit strong for that headline.
  11. I think the game hinges on Cooper being available. Going without all 3 of Coleman, Cooper & Kincaid will be a lot to overcome against a team like KC. Great to see Milano practicing again, though.
  12. If Coleman, Cooper & Kincaid are all out - that will be rough. I know KC is missing some guys too, but I can't see our offense being too effective without at least one of those guys playing. They can basically focus almost exclusively on Shakir at that point.
  13. I definitely want to be the team to beat them. But I'm already bracing for the narrative that we always beat them in the regular only to lose to them in the playoffs. Nick Wright will talk about it like it's a win for KC because of that.
  14. At the pro level - it's a thing. In every major sport. We've seen it for decades. Teams self-destructed against the dynasty Pats - consistently.
  15. "Aura" is a big factor in winning games. They've got it. No one else does. If they hadn't won 3 SB's, they'd be a middlin' team this year, and have 3-4 losses. But aura is carrying them.
  16. I truly appreciate that we're having a great season - at a time when most nationally, and some locally, thought we'd be taking a step back as we retool. We could win it all this year. Not saying we will, but we'll be as competitive as anyone.
  17. If you watched the Bills SB's in the '90s - you kind of love what's happening to Dallas right now, and how Jerry Jones is feeling.
  18. A fun game - but ultimately, somewhat inconsequential. They'll very likely get the 1 seed regardless of what happens. If we lose, I'd almost take it as a good omen. Reversing the whole "Bills beat them in the regular, but can't in the playoffs." But of course, I want to blow them out.
  19. Next week, we're officially America's team. We were always the ones in red, white & blue anyway.
  20. We're winning some ugly games - but the key there is "winning." And the wins we're getting aren't NEARLY as ugly as the wins KC is getting.
  21. Man, KC really took some of the joy out of the day. This was a great win on a day when we were down 3 top offensive guys and played pretty ugly, but I'm still shaking my fists at the sky.
  22. I only take some solace in the fact that the entire nation is still groaning. KC is getting very close to surpassing the villainy of the dynasty Pats.
  23. For a minute there, it looked like next weeks' game would be for the 1 seed. Chiefs just defining luck this year.
  24. Weird, lucky charm season for KC. Have they won even one game by more than a score?
  25. Can the Broncos pull this out?
