I dont see Beane trading for a #1 WR unless a team is looking to dump a salary in a fire sale. I think there will be plenty of good WR/TE in rounds 2-4. If the Vikings dump Kyle Rudolph because of salary, I would love for the Bills to sign him. I think he is not used enough in Min.

I agree that upgrades are needed but your not going to be able to find 8 new starter quality players on offense in one off season. McBeane will get this off season and next off season to rebuild the roster.

Go for the win. Hope Allen has a huge game so the Bills dont look inept to free agents this off season. Would like to see Allen go into the offseason throwing multiple TD's.

I think you are holding the bar awfully high for Allen. He needs to come back from 2-3 scores down? You know it takes more than a QB to make that happen. I was curious about this so I tried to do a quick search. Brady and Romo lead the way with 4th quarter comebacks. Those are the only two QB's that are over 30% of the time. Once the Bills get more weapons on offense, Allen will shine even more. He needs a good pass catching TE and WR's that can get separation. Once the Bills have a legit #1 WR that needs double coverage things will change.

Being in flux and learning the ropes as an OC? You know he was an NFL OC before he was Bama's OC right?

you are right that much worse has prob happened behind closed doors. That doesnt make it ok it just means they didnt get caught. I think Hunt is a POS. He didnt have to come to the lobby to be confrontational, he could have stayed behind closed doors. If a cop was standing in the lobby, would he still have kicked her? No because it is wrong. NFL players sign a contract that limits what they can and cant do. They are held to a higher standard. If they dont like it, they dont have to sign the contract.

When would you sign him? He is going to be on the exemption list for quite a while and then will still need to serve a suspension. I dont see how McBeene can talk about culture and family while signing a guy who kicked a girl while she was on the ground. I have a hard time seeing Kim hand this guy a contract.

Teams develop draft rankings for a reason. They draft by the rankings. If there are a couple players that have very similar rankings then you look at needs. I think the only offensive/defensive position that is off the table in the first round is QB and safety.

One thing that keeps coming up is Allen needs to take some velocity off the ball. I get it with short passes that he cant fire a rocket at them....but he really hasnt been firing fast balls on short passes all that much. Earlier in the season he had a few. If the pass is beyond 10 yards or so can an NFL WR say "I dropped it because he threw it too hard"? From memory the pass to Jones was from the opposite hash and had to travel at least 20 yards in the air before bouncing off his chest. Not all passes are going to be caught but if it in the catch radius of the WR it is on the WR to bring it in.

I want to see the Bills make progress and see Allen grow. I wont be disappointed in they lose each game....my wife has already commented on the fact that I havent been yelling at the TV as much. I would love to see Allen beat the Pats and make that a statement game. Would be a great Xmas gift.

There are passes that Allen needs more control of but people make it sound like he misses every screen pass or touch pass. He misses one and people see it as three because of his "lack of accuracy". Allen will progree when he has consistent protection and the Bills can get playmakers on offense. Allen will also get better the longer he is in this offense.

Allen is going to have his up and down games. I am not discouraged by his play. When the Bills put a better Oline in front of him and some play makers around him then he is capable of putting up the numbers most fans are looking for. I dont have a problem with Allen picking up chunks of yards when the middle of the field is open.

So people want NFL passing numbers instead of wins? I thought Allen made good throws and put the ball where he needed to. He had a couple that he missed but not many. If the middle of the field is open, he should run. If his WR's arent open, run and make something of it. Allen got the Bills the win. I am watching the Chargers game right now and their worst WR gets more separation and has better hands than anyone on the Bills. Rosen is playing and he threw an awful INT earlier. Right now he is 10 of 17 for 95 yards 1 TD 1 INT. They are down by 30 in the 4th and are just running the ball even on third down. They arent even letting him throw to get experience. 3 runs and punt.

So in 2018 Bama had 12 players drafted into the NFL and some undrafted players. Not all 12 of those players are starting but they have potential to play eventually. So 12 have potential to play in the NFL, what about the other Bama players that will never be good enough for the NFL? You hit the nail on the head when you said "future NFL Players". The Bills players can play in the NFL now. The Bills Online dont need to push Williams and Davis around, just block them and attack other areas. NFL players full time job is to prepare themselves to play on Sunday. College only allows a certain amount of time to do this. The Bills would kill them.

It depends on what they do in FA. If Greedy from LSU is on the board, you draft him. If he isnt you go BPA or trade down trying to acquire more picks in this draft rather than future drafts. OL help can come in the mid rounds. Lorenzo Alexander may only be around another year or two and I dont see his replacement on the roster right now.

That was the plan but plans change. There is something to be learned from watching seasoned pros play the position.....Farve and Rodgers. I dont see how watching Barkley play helps Allen. Would the outcome of the Texans game been different if Allen didnt get hurt? Who knows but I will say Allen most likely wouldnt have thrown the pick six to seal the deal. Allen didnt get benched for performance, he got benched for injury. If you want Barkley to play the rest of the season win or lose and have Allen watch then that is your opinion because you think that is what gives the Bills the best chance for wins. If you want to put Allen in only if Barkely craps the bed in a game or two then I dont think that helps Allen at all. All QB's need that time period for the game to "slow down" for them. That doesnt come while standing on the sidelines or in the off season.

I went to WVU and watch as many games as I can. I like Sills and if the Bills can get him in the 3rd round it would be great. He is a little inconsistent with his hands.....he makes a lot of catches but also drops some easy TD's.

So you dont think facing a good defense like the Jags will help in Allens development win or lose? The Jags are not the Jets. Barkley is not guaranteed any type of success. Barkely did his job and got the Bills a win. I would like Barkley to stay on with the Bills as a back up. Allen needs to play. If he doesnt play then he is going to use next season as his learning curve. Let Allen play the rest of the season. OTAs and training camp as the starter will further his development even more.

Barkley is not the future. Allen needs to play. Barkley had a good game but lets be honest.....some of Barkley's passes could have been easily picked off. They werent and the Bills won big. Allen should be play the rest of the season win or lose.

Just because guys get drafted doesnt mean they are ready to play in the NFL right away. Takes more than just talent to be successful in the NFL. Alabama plays against teams that only have a couple guys that will make it to the NFL. Sometimes they play teams where no players will make the NFL. That all changes playing an NFL team. Just the schemes alone would confuse Alabama to the point they couldnt do much. Any NFL team would beat Bama by 40.

I supported Peterman to start this season but he was awful. I know the Bills dont have a choice right now and I hope Peterman can show everyone what the coaches see in him because I dont see it.

Did you even pay attention to any of the QB's drafted this year? None of them were "cant miss" prospects. None of them were supposed to start from Day 1. Most of the draft gurus said all of them need time and experience before they will become decent starters. Stop talking about Allen's accuracy....it isnt any worse than other rookie QB's right now. All of the rookie QB's have shown flashes at times and were horrible at times. Allen is the only rookie QB not to throw a pick six......yet.
