I agree with your premise that you need to get a franchise QB and then you can be consistently competitive for an extended period of time. However, once you have that the other pieces do also matter. I absolutely disagree with "The QB is all that matters", you need coaching, strategy and the right guys at the other posititons. It is much easier to get the "right guys at other positions" once you have a QB. The decision to draft Love is strange given Rodgers age and reasonable expecation to play another 4 years. Unless the Pack is strategizing to move on or Rodgers has given them a time frame it was a bad decision in my mind. You surround that franchise QB with as much talent at the other positions as you can. Drafting a QB in the first round does not do that. So you are both kind of right. Just because the Chiefs sat Mahomes for a year does not mean he would not have performed as a rookie. And overall the Alex Smith/Mahomes thing is totally different than Rodgers/Love. Rodgers is one of the best of all time, Smith is average.

The first kicker I remember is Nick mike-Mayer. I remember van Miller saying his name in a rhyming kind of way. I just looked at his stats.....he sucked.

I agree, there are new rules added all the time and rules are generally not ever removed. Each official can only watch one thing at a time, they cant and dont see everything. Holding happens all the time and mostly is not called. Officiating has not gotten worse, fans analysis and tools to view things after the fact from a bunch of angles, make a slow motion gif and post it to social media is what has changed.

There was holding that wasn't called?????? No way!!!!!!! Was there at least one call or lack of a call on the Cardinals side that benefited the Bills or all 25 of the bad calls/non calls go against the Bills? That is an outrage!

Maybe coaches sending a message. Maybe giving his head another week or two. There are a bunch of guys they can rotate inside without seeing a big performance difference. Gilmore was a healthy scratch in NE. Does not mean he is done.

Part of the issue with the running game though might be personnel, they run so much 10 so it is hard for 4 WR's to block. But yesterday it seemed the OL was just getting beat on run plays.

In 60 years you will have tough moments. When you play close games you play with fire. You will get burned sometimes. The bills got a fortunate penalty on the rams that flipped that outcome. Yesterday the bills were short handed and played well. They cardinals could try that play 10’times in a row and odds are they don’t get one of them. It was a combination luck, great play by Hopkins and poor defense by the bills. ***** happens. From a tiebreaker stand point the games that mean the least are inter conference road games. So this was the game to lose bad in vs say against the pats.

I think this was good placement but would need to see the replay more. On screen passes the an can really help with placement....lead the rb the direction he can go to get yards. Fitz was always good at this. Allen I. The past would just put it on the guy. There is-art to completing a screen pass.

I am sure there is some gaming going on....but the criteria is not within one foot, there is also an element of time considered. I think if you are within 6 feet for 10 minutes it counts. If it was one foot at any time we might as well just forfeit.
