LA Ratings for Dolphins-Saints > Chargers-Eagles game
cba fan replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bad area. yeah OK. Adjacent to and connected to USC campus where 44,000 students go to school on a daily basis and the Trojans fill the coliseum almost full every Sat home game, many at night. Must be an area EVERYONE is afraid to go to. SMH. -
How losing Gilmore helped Bills build a winning secondary
cba fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LOL. too late. -
You would pay lower taxes? On housing? in a way yes. In Buffalo, you would be living in a larger house paying less RE taxes because the house would be valued less than larger houses in other transplant areas Buffalonians move to. Problem with this is when it is time to sell that Buffalo house and move and or sell and live retired off that windfall and move south for the golden years, your nest egg will not travel so well into more expensive property areas. You may need to live in a trailer city or just have to stay in Buffalo. Income taxes likely higher in Buffalo if you move from FL ot TX or other states with NO state income tax.

Not so sure about that. Bills mafia has always been positive and undying loyalty to Bills players from loyal (blind) fans looking to support and rise up the players not berate and push them down with standard fan negativity. It has since been hijacked by the media erroneously to describe all the poor behavior of the thankfully shrinking numbers of "stupid" Bills fans at tailgates at New Era, and now also to describe the road following they get like in ATL Sunday. That SJ God thing was all negative towards SJ.

Yeah. Watkins with 12 targets per game regardless of coverage.

Bills Sign WR Philly Brown and Two Safeties
cba fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Finally a Philly in Buffalo instead of a Buffalo going to Philly. I think I would have preferred Streater or Reilly though. -
Its is just so Billsy that a post showing starting seasons W-Ls is immediately thought to be a harbinger of bad things ahead. Please let it not be again. I tell you it does not feel like those other years except maybe maybe Fitztragic. 2011.

Bills were reportedly shopping Adolphus Washington
cba fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah what the hell just cut everybody from last year and be done with it. Then it is over. Clean break. Nuclear option. Be done with it. Hell the idiot who just quit his job because of the anthem protests he should have been fired also, months ago. Sweep 'em out. Drain the Indian burial grounds. New Era. PS: who quits a job because some co-workers, working far far away from your department, have an opinion different from yours.??? -
I get it. Really. You have to lose the war to win the war. Unless US beats you which is a win at the end of the day. Ask England Japan Germany etc etc......

Beano and McDerma are some of the most closed minded people I have ever seen. Never have I seen a new regime come in and dump so many previous players. Of course if they keep winning 3 out of 4, none of that will matter, and we will just need to accept an occasional cut of a talented player. -
It is only in the coddled world of entertainment/Hollywood/sports/music/NFL, that something any reasonable person who was raised by good parents would be excepted to do like "pick up after himself", is celebrated and newsworthy when someone does it vs scorned when they do not. Makes you wonder how jerky all these celebrities really are. Same goes for the clubhouse attendant who offered to help the guy. He is a good person also just like Carr. It is twitchy muscles. It appeared Carr twitched them by stretching awkwardly on the fall. EJ looked real good. Completed his first 8. That last INT he was clearly throwing it up for a contested catch which his WR failed at. Rogers and Brady do this, all, the, time.

Bills only had 10 men on the field on final 4th and 1
cba fan replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thankfully they(players and coaches) were aware they could not call another time out. That would have been so Rexy to do that and get 5 yd delay of game penalty and Falcons 1st down. -

cba fan replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. Now it all makes sense why they changed to zone. Easier to cover with 10 men on field. LOL. Seriously: Bills fans just need to enjoy a hot start and good D for a change. It has been way too long. -
OK...so saw the replay of the game
cba fan replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From what I have seen around the league this year with outside eyes in NEW YORK OFFICE looking at replay vids it has taken the bias out. Also it seems they are changing some calls that would not have been changed previously. Going with "It appears to be more apparent it should be called that way" instead of staying on the first refs call. This goes against the "it has to be 100% conclusive" before they can change a call. In this Bills game they seemed to follow the need for 100 conclusive before change. Ryans INT for TD was inconclusive. There is a side vid that showed his hand swiped towards the sideline and did not follow through in direction of the ball. So inconclusive. Don't think any call would have been reversed. Hyde was called correct. He had control even though tip hit ground. However he fell on it also and appeared to trap(not good term more like ball moved ever so lightly as his body weight pushed it.) So inconclusive. Don't think any call would have been reversed. Bills caught a break on last pass play Tre defended. The jersey clearly pulls away from WR as he breaks and Tre was contacting him as ball sailed over his head. ref maybe just could not see the jersey pull and it was pretty slight. Bottom line is if they played the Pats that was PI or holding all day. Even though we would have been livid as pass appeared to be not catchable. Likely they would have called holding then. Of course those other calls always go Pats way also. -
Holy crap like an all you can eat draft buffet. Time to graze. Imagine if Watkins shows he is worth a big deal and Bills bring him back next off season..... a guy can dream.

Golf clap, then pantomime cracking open a beer.

Thank you. Then what he did was a foul as it was forceful.
-
Rodak, he is all over those groins. Bills seem to lead league in groins every year. Weather, Diet, Love Canal.

Tre White named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month
cba fan replied to CWink07's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is so unfreaking believable I do not know what to say. 7 as in SEVEN! passes defensed in 3 games. WTF. All pros at DB have great year if they defense 12 to 15 in a complete season. Just wow Tre. No one can keep up that pace. Can they?????? https://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/passes-defended/2016/ -
I hear this a lot about ticket money is not the big income NFL income source. What I can tell you is you are wrong. Very wrong. 2016 NFL avg ticket price is $172 avg stadium size is 67,861. Most stadium are sold out. So avg team makes $116,720,920 per season for tickets. I know they give 20% to visiting teams and take 20% when on road etc etc. It still calculates out the same. This $116 million does not include PSL, suite sales, club seats, etc... TV revenue is gigantic approx. 6 billion per year or $187.5 million. Other shared revenue brings this up to approx. $7.8 billion per year or $243.7 million. http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/news/nfl-teams-shared-8-billion-2016-10-percent-increase/xq0olewhxo2d1a5mmrll4w4fz This ticket money is huge. Almost half of tv money. It is very very important and that is why NFL is concerned about potential attendance drop from protests and are afraid to do anything about it fearing more backlash if they try to curb it.

I understand that. And Tolbert and Jones#2 happened on same drive. So in my scenario Jones#2 never happens. However if all first open for TD balls are caught. He has 3 less incompletions(tolbert, jones#1, clay) and 1 less int(Clay's fault)and 2 more TD(to Clay and Jones#1). And 1 less attempt plus 1 less completion(Jones#2) With TT small sample size that would move his QB rating a fair amount better. I found a calculator. He goes from 99.2 to 119.07 Just behind Tom Brady for league lead.

Rick Dennison is "Tayloring" the Bills' Offense
cba fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nice work here. 2008 headline: Jauron Dicked the Defense. -
Wonder how much better it would be for the season if those 4 TD drops had been caught. Clay Tolbert Jones x1 Jones x2. Clay catch would have negated a int. Jones x2 was no deal as he tipped it to Holmes. Tolbert I thought was a catch and TD as he did not go to the ground to make the catch but not clear on the rule now.

How would you rate Dion Dawkins 1st start?v
cba fan replied to CEN-CAL17's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is all about leverage. Small guy hits big guy when big guy is stepping back slightly off balance and can bull rush him to the ground. Law of averages says the big guy wins more often but small guy wins too. Just like in a fight. Push the chargers head in direction it is going and you can put him on the ground.
