?? first sentence means: TD Mike is better and was a proven score machine at the time they whiffed on TD Mike. Also no one ever heard of Mr Banyard as he was not on Bills radar or roster. Banyard did not exist on Bills until this year. The OP is trying to compare the two when TD Mike was let go before anyone even knew Banyard existed.

Because TD Mike is better and was a proven score machine at the time they whiffed on TD Mike. Also no one ever heard of Mr Banyard as he was not on Bills radar or roster. This argument you profess here would be like I should have never purchased that Saturn rocket as I should have waited and purchased a Shuttle when they built them many years later.

Why are you so sure we aren't a playoff team?

OK you win. I hope 2017 Bills find the lottery like Fish and Falcons did and win and make playoffs. I really do. Just not realistic. I am on your side though. I desperately want it to happen. Cheers. -

I said in my post some new HC's took teams to playoffs first year. Falcons Smith did but not with Bills turnover. Falcons had about 33 player changes in 2008. Also had new GM that year. Try again. Does not matter what or if you believe me. It is fact. Playoffs and success in this first year is very low probability. -
That is lost money now if Shady hits the incentives, money that Bills could have moved as unused cap space into next years cap. Beano is a rookie moron. Mind boggling move. It is called the one ship policy. EX: We have all heard everytime Navy or Air Froce builds a shiny new toy(ship/plane) it replaces and does the job of 20 or so other toys. Extrapolating that out: Very soon Navy will be 1 ship and Air Force will be 1 plane. As Army marketing used "Army of One" Bills use "It Starts With One" Soon Shady will be the "One"

SI Article- With Confidence- The Bills are Not Tanking

Anyone who ever was in a bar when Andre Reed walked in knows Reed would have given Jim a run for his money in the douchebag department. Levy was able to control them by proxy(IE: players policeing themselves like Rex did) just enough to carry on pretty well on field. There is absolutely no proof or reports that any of the young good talent the Bills have dumped had any kind of attitude or behavior issues. This is just more McCliche coach speak. Absolutely just the opposite of the players they continue to keep on roster like Hughes and Dareus. (I know Dareus is uncuttable due to salary cap and I do not want to see either cut) Just saying. -

or why it should not have gone down. You don't trade a guy who has yet not fully recovered. Unless you are a moron. -

Yeah they signed him to a one day and then cut him, because they could not go even one-day without cutting someone. -
And an owner who would not let him pick the HC.

I researched it. There have been new HC who took teams to playoffs first year, but none with this kind of mega roster turnover. fart.... -
Why are you so sure we aren't a playoff team?
cba fan replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why? You ask Why? Because no team who replaced 41 players from the previous year (53 and 10 practice squad) many being less talented then the ones they replaced, has ever sniffed the playoffs. Toss in new coach and FO and those teams seldom make playoffs either. -
John Miller Start packing your bags

It is not paranoia when it is true. Beano and McEgo are cutting all Whaley/Rex players anytime it is even close or even if the Whaley/Rex guys are younger and better. Makes no sense. Whaley connection is about it and the facts you state, completely describe J Will and Seymour right before they were dumpers. Not to mention one of the worst OL in NFL Vlad D is still competing for Millers spot. -
step off the curb. McDermot and the GM have us going good.
cba fan replied to Howard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was not fully recovered from his ankle injury. He is now and showed it in preseason. But I guess that matters little when you have Doug Whaley tattoo stamped on your forehead. Beano and McEgo are out of control. I have now cancelled all my plans to see any Bills games in person this year. -
He will not be criticized. If he was white and a Trump support then of course yes he would be ripped to shreds by media and public.

No No No and No. Boldin himself said he needed to retire so he could save the world. And we all know he was not lying. Last I checked world has still not been saved, So answer is NO.

If they keep trading good players for worse players they will fail. Hey, I know math. -
Sorry. I knew I was doing wrong but I just could not help myself. I have a disorder. Mudge-a-mind disorder.
-
If he can't "buy in" he would be cut before breakfast by Beano.
-
Yes reports are out there he tanked to get cut. This is the most arrogant move a player could make considering only about 30 NFL kicker jobs existed at the time. Of course it worked out Ok as he went to Steelers and played in playoffs many times with them and other teams after Steelers. And he had HOF career. However Karma came back and bit his ass hard when he went 35 for 35 in reg season in 1998 to then miss chip shot that would have put Him and Vikings into Super Bowl as favorites to then win Super Bowl. He never went to any Super Bowl. Karma always wins in the end.
