  1. Does not mean much to be let go by current FO. They release or trade payers before breakfast now. Means nothing. The smart teams are calling Bills to get any players from previous regime the current guys clearly are purging. Like an early bird garage sale.
  2. Bills should have signed both Hoyer and Barkley and promised them an open competition for starter. The way TT is playing one of those other two woud have beaten him out in preseason.
  3. Go to Hell. LOL. Heaven can wait. I want a competitive good team this year trying all year.
  4. This is very debatable because Ralph completely f'd up this franchise during the years he was a complete clueless meddler owner.
  5. Yes. So as you ask, when are the Bills going to start this plan? So far they have traded their best young talent who would be in their primes when the rebuild is done instead of the old guys we all know will be gone by that time. Makes zero sense. They can challenge for wild card spots next two years while they wait for beano to acquire the franchise QB one way or the other.
  6. Vast majority of people in US agree with Shady. Some people hate to hear the truth.
  7. Jarvis Landry, as the OP points out is the topic of this thread.
  8. In a universal sense there is a solar eclipse every day somewhere. It just does not always shadow the earth.
  9. If you really like someone and think he will help your team a lot and possibly develop into a starter/pro bowler, you don't wait until he "should have been drafted here info". Especially at QB. You draft him a round or so earlier to make sure you get him as most other teams fall for the fallacy of "draft at position for good value". Bills missed out on Russell Wilson because of this way of thinking. PS: just don't do it as a trade up if your the Bills as they have failed very time they tried that.
  10. Needs to be navy blue gloss finish and navy logo with white outline. White facemask. White strip on ea side next to red stripe. Then it would be a good alternate "IF NFL changes policy on one helmet rule"
  11. I like what you are smoking but...... So it went like this. Pegs after a night of wine falling in love with McDerma and knew he was hired: Hay McDerma we got the O that can score and get us to the playoffs if we only have a decent D and better coaching. We have D players better suited for the 4-3. What are you going to do keeping in mind we have a seething fan base that has not sniffed the playoffs since disco music was big and a guy down from Canada with a mullet was our starting QB. We gotta reward them for loyalty before they go away. Whatcha gonna to do? McDerma: Gas everyone and then hire Beano and blow it all up. Pegs: You're hired. Wait! What?
  12. Heard Gaines has a hammy. Next is old vets walking out and demanding trade or release? Yes?
  13. Considering Beano just traded two of the Bills best players for a 2nd and 3rd and two one yr rentals, it would be smart to think this way as this is the "year of the tank" and a 3rd round and 5th round comp pick in 2018 for cutting 4 marginal players by week 9 in 2017, that you could immediately resign if you wish, would be very very smart. It is what any smart GM would do. PS: no one really knows if week 10 is the deadline. That is specualtion as NFL has never released the "super secret" comp pick formula.
  14. Safety In Numbers. PS: That is the name of an album released by great indie band from England called "Scars On 45"
  15. He is a great athletic player so he can play. Bills would not pay him 10 million to play safety however.
  16. Davis is one of the guys needed to be cut so Bills get a 3rd round comp pick. So he is a key piece to the rebuild by being cut. Davis is a depth player. So instead of losing your best defender pass rusher in Hughes for likely a 4th or 5th round pick and maybe another depth player like Davis. Just cut Davis get a 3rd and keep Hughes who has a pro Bowl season about to happen. Then resign Davis a week later if you want. Same with any of the other cuts needed to get that 3rd round comp pick.
  17. Keep him. By the time he is entering his prime the Bills will be back to a 3-4 D. Plan for the future yes Beanes?
  18. Good idea. Just is too fast for a sing along after TD's in game.
  19. The parts of the trade were agreed to. Rams agreed to the deal. They were just waiting for Beanes response after talking to Pegs and McDerma. It was in Bills hands to say yes or no.
  20. For those exact same reasons I see him coming out in 2018. $$$$$$$
