All he did was win in college. Alabama had a stacked roster but they were a run heavy offence. When Alabama needed a 1st down or a big play to win the game McCarron was up to the task. His 2012 and 2013 seasons were fun to watch, I really think he is a better QB than Andy Dalton. If he doesn't win his case against the NFL I would trade a 2nd and 3rd for him easily. I don't make guarantees that often but I guarantee McCarron will be a good/great QB when he gets his shot.

AJ McCarron would be the perfect bridge QB with the potential to play at the same level as Andy Dalton or better. If our goal is to upgrade the passing attack and play mistake free offense than McCarron is our guy. If the defense is improved and the trenches are improved I think AJ could get us to the playoffs. All the guy did at Alabama was win.

Vikings vs Pats in the SB...
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I'm the Jaguar's with the way Brady's thumb is cut I would make double sure the pressure on those footballs are right on the money. -
I like drinking Jack Daniels too.

The Key to any good offense
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think with this offense the more talent you add to the offense the better it will operate. I know when you add talent to any offense it will improve, but it seems like you could run a hurry up or move guys around to take advantage of a weakness that a defense has. -
It was rumored that Kirk Cousins wanted to play for the 49ers. What if the 49ers signed Cousins and traded Jimmy G for two 1st rd picks. By the way I would do this trade in a heart beat. Two QB's I would target in FA are. 1. Jimmy G 2. AJ McCarron

I like Teddie but I would go after younger and less injury prone options like McCarron or Smith way before Teddie.

The MMQB: Dareus Says Marrone is a Changed Man
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed I don't blame Marrone for leaving, working under or with Whaley and Brandon would be a !@#$ing nightmare. If the new owner refused to make changes in the front office and I had a out I would use it to. Its funny how all those leaked inside media reports mysteriously all stopped happening when Whaley was fired. -
You do know that Bortles has passed for 4,400+ with 35 TD's and 18 INT's in a season right? Taylor will never get to that level as a passer, I can't believe some people still think Taylor should be talked about or is in the same zip code as Bortles. I will be blown away if Taylor is even the starter on his new team next year.

Pieces needed to win AFC East in 2018

This is the main reason I want AJ McCarron, I think he can easily put up Andy Dalton type numbers and won't kill the cap. He will be the perfect bridge QB for a rookie and has the talent to maybe be the guy. He is a super hard worker and he is going to play like his hair is on fire if he wins the starting job. Im hoping the Bills make a strong push to get McCarron. -
I might drive up to that game from Chicago, only 2.4 hours away

Would 6 rings for NE diminish future SB winners?
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would love to see myth busters do a whole show on the real advantage of letting the air out of footballs. When you look at Ben Jarvis Greens carries to fumble ratio through his career you see that his fumbles spike in College then are completely gone with the Patriots then spike again with the Bengals with 5 in two years. I give the Patriots zero credit and don't acknowledge any of their accomplishments. Way too much shady behavior with everything that they have been caught doing. -

The fact that Buffalo went to 4 Super Bowls in the Era that they did it in is extremely impressive. The players were ripping each other's heads off and spilling guts out on the field. Those Pats teams would never be able to run this pick and run offense because their WR's and TE's would be getting killed. The NFL grew a vagina and the Patriots took advantage of every single rule change that benefited the offense. -
My main reason for not wanting Bridgewater is injury issues. I remember liking Bridgewater a lot at Louisville, and I'm sure Eric Wood would love to have him here.

Where would Mahomes go in this years draft?
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure, If I had to guess I would say the QB log jam would push him down to the 15 to 28 range in the 1st rd. All of the QB's this year will probably have really good combines and interview very well. -
Spotrac: The Mother of All QB Offseasons
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This would be so !@#$ing horrible and could cost McD his job. As of right now I'm hoping for two things. 1. Taylor is released 2. Castillo is released -
There was a play last Sunday where Gronk was at the HB position and then motioned to the left and made a move up field and didn't not set before the ball was snapped. I cannot believe a officiating crew could possibly miss that. Ive looked all over the internet for the footage, but I cannot find it.
