I agree, doing any trade for even 4 years you are nothing like you were when you 1st started. So much experience is learned from making mistakes, most people keep getting better and better at their jobs, especially someone who seems so driven to succeed.

You do know that Bortles has passed for 4,400+ with 35 TD's and 18 INT's in a season right? Taylor will never get to that level as a passer, I can't believe some people still think Taylor should be talked about or is in the same zip code as Bortles. This is the main reason I want AJ McCarron, I think he can easily put up Andy Dalton type numbers and won't kill the cap. He will be the perfect bridge QB for a rookie and has the talent to maybe be the guy. He is a super hard worker and he is going to play like his hair is on fire if he wins the starting job. Chad was very raw coming out of college but I'm sure Elway and Kelly are putting a lot of time into him. I bet we see him more this year, I could see him having a career like Gannon. Once the light bulb turns on he has the talent and arm to put up some good numbers.

I would love to see myth busters do a whole show on the real advantage of letting the air out of footballs. When you look at Ben Jarvis Greens carries to fumble ratio through his career you see that his fumbles spike in College then are completely gone with the Patriots then spike again with the Bengals with 5 in two years. I would rather hope for AJ McCarron to be a FA or trade a 3rd rd pick for McCarron I could see McCarron passing for 26 TD's and 3,900 yards with 12 INT's easily.

I think the Jaguars have a better chance at beating the Patriots. If Bortles even has a Alex Smith type game I think they beat the Patriots.

I would say if the award was given out for coaching up young players and teaching your system to the team as a whole, then yes I think McD deserves coach of the year. I think he has done an amazing job making players better through his coaching style. We have hit on a HC, if we can hit on a QB in FA or the draft we will be seeing the playoffs a lot more. I think they should wait to give out these awards until after the SB. If Marrone gets the Jags past the Patriots he should easily have been coach of the year.

Our O-Line is very average, Shady is what makes this offense go at the moment. Castillo is a bad O-Line coach who I wish was replaced when we hired a new OC. My main focus would be to find a upgrade at QB and start rebuilding the O-Line. If we had some form of passing threat that moved the safties and LB's back in coverage Shady would have a MVP type season. I would love to use Shady how the Saints use Kamara.
