I don’t find them scary. Just like Buffalo you can’t be one dimensional all the time. But dang they are physical. When it works they really intimidate teams. They have completely taken the crowd out of the game and have KC playing scared.

I’m still a little in shock this game is close and tenn actually has the lead.

I would have to put some blame on josh and Dorsey. He’s locked onto Diggs and nothing wrong with that. But he’s not willing to play the 10-15 yard part of the field unless it’s an RPO and it’s been a fail most times he throws to Davis on those. He’s 15+ down the field or running or throwing it to the backs. I haven’t watched close enough to know how many crossing routes are ran. It seems we have a lot more RPO this year and Knox is never involved for that as a receiver obviously. They are going to need to tweak some things.

Who replaces him? Kicking is not exactly great across the league. I like Bass, I think they get a little too cute on these kickoffs wanting to have teams start inside the 20. But I certainly don’t want the kid replaced

Their only chance is to ugly this thing up and try to intimidate KC. Not looking like it’ll work tonight but they have bullied them on occasion before

This is gonna be ugly. That kid is not ready for NFL football and definitely not ready for that KC crowd.

Not everything needs an individual thread after a loss. When I go online I just ask Siri and she provides. Surely Beane has Siri and Alexa maybe both.

I would agree with Simon above. I do think they stick with the call on the field. If it was ruled a pick I think it would have stood as well.

I think McKenzie back in the gadget role is best. His only good play today was the sweep. Shakir I thought already earned more play time. Not sure what the holdup is. Maybe things get a little more creative when Hines gets on the field. Definitely would like to see more motion pre snap. It’s the only thing I like about miamis offense. They are motioning a ton and giving Tua 2-3 quick reads including the motion man if there’s pressure and of course deeper reads over the middle if he gets a clean pocket.

This wasn’t as big an issue earlier in the season because the offense was firing and the D could stay aggressive. We’re not seeing the offense playing well and the defense certainly hasn’t been as aggressive on the line. They were dominating the line for quite some time there. Might have been better off running 5 defensive linemen today and just having edmunds out there. Without Rousseau that probably don’t work though, someone has to be able to drop in coverage occasionally. Rousseau is probably the best run stuffer on the team and his loss was felt. Still inexcusable someone should be able to step up considering the draft capital and free agency money spent.

We’ve beat to death balancing things out. 8 carries isn’t enough for singletary and defenses just play the pass. Pretty bad game all over though, it’s gonna be a rough week around here.

Guess we’ll find out.

Eh I kinda wanted him to play a series or two just to get some live reps before Thielen and Jefferson and hockenson. I trust they know what’s best though.

They can afford mostly any one player they want. If New Orleans can be 100 million over and still squeak under and even sign players there’s always a way to free money up if you want a player bad enough. Just like New Orleans though to get the player you have to be willing to sacrifice others. They signed Tyrann Mathiue for 3 years 30+ million and then traded away the younger Gardner Johnson for pennies because they couldn’t extend him. Edmunds signing would probably mean no Oliver or possibly Hyde if he’s able to come back healthy. But that’ll be a whole other debate if/when the time comes.

I think this years movement at the deadline shows it should stay as is. I was wrong thinking it would come and go as usual with minimal moves. But I don’t want to see baseball like moves every year where the entire landscape of the league changes for the last quarter playoff push.

If he doesn’t show up before the game I’ll be officially concerned.

Yeah I read through and mostly just shake my head. I just seen some young guy celeb passed away today and the comments were sickening. I guess people just crave the attention they receive rather it’s good or bad.

I would rather see Tre get some live game reps this week even if it’s only a series or two before throwing him out against theilen and Jefferson next week. But I trust they know where he’s at and if it’s needed.

He’s gonna get a suspension (probably nothing more than a couple games) and probably lose some money in court. Definitely not in the category of ray rice or even Jeffrey Simmons college beat down of a female. But he’s an NFL player who allowed himself to be in a bad situation and on video so they’ll have to do something I guess. Looks like the other guy stomping on dudes face probably did all the damage

Beane just seems like the perfect guy to chat football with. I don’t think there’s another gm in the league who interviews like him. I mentioned the other day how cool it is that he “pulls the curtain back” and gives info in areas no front offices discuss. Going in depth on the trade process and some of the rumors is not something he needs to do, but I sure do appreciate the explanation of the process behind it.
