I’m not sure Buffalo was ever truly in the running for him. It’s been mentioned many times Von is probably just helping his buddy build value and I tend to agree. If he was signing for a half season 700k salary or something I think Beane would have already snagged him to get him in the building with Buffalos medical team rehabbing him.

I have never been a fan of Carroll but I agree he deserves a ton of credit for how well that team is playing.

Sounds like maybe there’s gonna be more emphasis on the run and short pass game if Duke ends up active. Would make sense with Keenum or if they don’t want Allen throwing 30 yard lasers and he’s forced to take it easy

Time for some guys to step up for sure. Minnesota is not great on the offensive line. If there was ever a game for Epenesa or Basham to explode this would be it cause I’m sure they’ll be pretty focused on chipping Von and stopping Oliver as much as possible

Jefferson has all his top games against zone defense from what I’ve seen. The best game I seen against him this year was Philly. Slay locked him up in man, when he went to the other side they bracketed him with a safety and Bradberry and held him to minimal yardage. The eagles pass rush was non stop and cousins was throwing up lame duck prayers. Pass rush will have to show up or Jefferson probably feasts over the deep middle of the field.

I don’t think he’s done enough to be a priority. I like the guy and don’t want him gone but I don’t think he’s made enough of an impact to be in the long term plans.

If Keenum is playing I’m gonna take Dawson Knox. And I’ll roll with Ed Oliver to have a big day.

Minnesotas scheme on defense is simple. Line up Zadarius Smith standing over center to rush. If it works he wrecks the game. If it doesn’t they struggle. In the 3-4 games I’ve watched anyways that’s been the story.

If they’re planning on running the ball more and being physical I’m definitely getting brown some reps out there.

Atlanta has no interest in winning this game. I’d be freaking out (if I was a falcons fan) watching Mariota run out of bounds for a loss for literally no reason at all.

Guy I’m playing has Pitts playing over the Tampa rookie Cade Otton.

Hard to tell. Couple bad punts from Atlanta. Walker doesn’t seem to have trouble throwing. I said it was like a college game earlier but it’s more high school with the playcalling
