  1. So are we debating if there’s enough talent on the roster? Cause my answer would be yes. Wouldn’t it be more on the coaches if they can still get production from that talent while missing a key player? I’m not sure exactly what we’re going for here. What if the O line suddenly run blocks and pass blocks well above average cause Keenum is a traditional passer who gets the ball out super fast? What if playaction actually gets defenses to bite since we might really hand the ball off? So many variables I don’t think one game is a fair judgement although I’m sure the GDT will be full of it though.
  2. Possibly. I don’t dive that far into anything or follow anyone enough to catch stats like that. I won’t pretend like I’m any kinda expert of defensive line play lol cause I’m certainly not.
  3. I think you guys are too hard on boogie and Epenesa. It’s not easy to make an impact on 10-20 snaps a game. Especially in games you’re not dominating the line. Von is a great example but obviously a different level of player. He’s learning from his matchup each snap. Probing all game long on what’s working, their reactions to each of his moves, setting them up for that big play he’ll need to make later on. It will be interesting to see how these guys do with more play time while Rousseau heals up. I like Epenesa more than most, I think he’s shown flashes of good play. He seems to have a knack for batting balls down at the line.
  4. Teams can win in a lot of ways. We’ve been really spoiled with Allen dominating. Strategy can change and when you challenge others in the locker room to step up sometimes the results can be surprising. Keenum can do what rush did and what brissett has done on occasion and just take the easy completions the defense gives. Buffalo has guys who can run after the catch. They have players who can be gadget guys who can offer some different looks on offense. If Dorsey is creative with McKenzie and Hines they can run some stuff that’s not on film yet. The best part (most frustrating for me) was when McKenzie was used in jet sweep motion all the time it always slowed the pass rush that one second or so they had to make sure he didn’t get the ball. Something buffalo has desperately needed as they’ve struggled with pass pro. Keenum isn’t gonna put on the cape and run josh Allen’s offense. But Dorsey can change things up and attack in other ways with him. If he’s forced to play we’re about to find out a lot about our role players. Knox, shakir, McKenzie, Hines and singletary are all guys I have confidence in to work the 5-15 yard range of the field.
  5. You’re not wrong. Keenum isn’t going to put the team on his shoulders and win games. But I do have faith he can do the little things and hit some open receivers and check downs. Buffalo has some run after catch potential. It’ll need to be a full team effort to make him effective. Dorsey will need some more creativity as well.
  6. Teams generally get better and more into a rhythm the more runs that are attempted. This unit can run block successfully if the team decided they were going to run it 30 times. Our sample size is so small compared to other teams if you take away Allen’s attempts on the year. They may not be elite like Phillys line but they’d have success.
  7. They don’t seem to be playing with the same fire and aggression they started the year with imo. The D line that is.
  8. If you were mad at edmunds for the friendly fire hits that have hurt his teammates, you should vote no on Abrams 😜 Cause the guy has hurt himself and multiple teammates more than once trying to obliterate whoever has the ball. He would need a specialized role for any team that wants him.
  9. He cannot cover.. He’s the wish version of Jamal Adams.
  10. My gut feeling is at first glance I agree. My cat did not. Just teasing. It’s a valid point.
  11. I tend to agree. Keenum isn’t making any wow plays but he’ll take what the defense gives and get the ball out quick. They will need to establish some form of a run game and get a little creative but they can win some of these games with him. I prefer they don’t have to play him lol but I don’t think we need to panic if he starts a couple games.
  12. I think everyone can agree we don’t want Allen hurt or missing time, but an injury might be a bit of a blessing in disguise as long as it’s not long term. Simplifying the offense might do everyone some good. Getting back to basics if you will. Little more focus on the run, little more focus on the short game and getting others involved. I hope he’s good to go and doesn’t miss time, but I also hope Dorsey is currently getting his creative juices flowing on how to get everyone involved if Allen is not 100% or going to miss some games.
  13. They should just let Taysum play. Andy has not shot.
  14. Dalton has no shot this game if they can’t figure out this pressure
  15. I think I definitely see some of this stuff differently (not saying better) I think lovie is doing a great job in Houston. They shouldn’t even be able to compete in 80% of the games they have very little talent there. I also think Dan Campbell is doing quite a good job in Detroit cause they have almost no talent on defense. I would put my list at 1) Hackett they have a lot of talent and can’t do anything right. 2) McDaniels, how do you even make the raiders worse? 3) Zac Taylor yeah he got them to a superbowl.. But if you watch a lot of Bengals games they are 100% a square peg in a round hole team. We’re at week 9 and despite Burrow getting hammered all year yesterday was only the 3rd time Mixon had over 20 carries. He will not make adjustments when things go badly and they underachieve way more than they should. 4) Kingsbury, ever notice how great Arizona is at the end of halves and end of games when they get to the 2 minute offense? That’s probably because they can’t play offense the rest of the game and you never see any highlights. They constantly try and load that team and constantly underachieve. It’s not all kylers fault. 5) Todd Bowles has to get on the list. Brady does look shot. But so does literally everyone else on the team. He took over and the entire team fell apart. Rhule would have been number one had he not already been fired, and I won’t shade Saturday before he hits the sideline despite not having any qualifications to do so.
  16. What a weird situation. But I hope he has some success. We just had a thread on coaches and the pool drying up in some ways so why not go outside the box? Their season is over anyways.
  17. I think almost every reason possible has been discussed as to his poor performance in the last 18 hours.
  18. The game goes in trends. Bills started out playing their best football, and have began to slump. As Cincy and other teams have proven over the years you just need to stay in the hunt and get hot at the right time. I would rather have the issues now so they can be corrected and hopefully don’t resurface come playoff time.
  19. Not to derail but I agree. The ads are just opponent bashing they rarely even say what they’d like to do in office if elected. Not voting for but voting against
  20. They tried getting physical. Buffalo just wasn’t having it that night. They’ve punked us in the past though.
