The Chiefs are the more annoying team today but a little surprised overall at these results. I thought it might be closer to 50/50. It still doesn’t make up for 20 years of butt whippings at the Patriots hands the fact that they are having a bad season now. Plus their was always the posts here about them being cheaters, Brady wining and getting every call under the sun, the hit by Gronk on Tre White, and Kraft and sex trafficking. Surprised too how many here don’t like the Bengals. Granted I’ve only known one big Bengal fan in my life. But they ended the drought. Plus I thought they handled the whole Damar situation with class.

That rivalry is almost .500 throughout the Bills/Dolphins history though now. I certainly understand your sentiment though. I thought that's why there might be a little more Patriots dislike on this thread here now...... we'd have to see the Bills dominate them for like at least another 15 years to get the all time rivalry back to .500. And that's not even counting Super Bowl wins.

It's a couple years removed from Belichick and Brady both being with the Patriots. And now they are having a 3-11 season without either one of them. So it seems Bills fans got their wish during the drought years that the Patriots would go back to being irrelevant again. However, for obvious reasons the Chiefs might have taken on the #1 team the fanbase dislikes the most. I still would like to see the Bills dominate the Patriots for another 15 years (and win some Super Bowls along the way) to even that score. But yeah I probably dislike the Chiefs more at this point.

That's why I'm not sure how well he would do as an offensive coordinator. Especially in this league today where there's a much more sort of analytical/number approach/memorize all the plays versus react directly to what he saw on the field.

I think its just too different a game today from the 80s and 90s to really answer this. Case in point Jim was a very vocal leader on the field. Nobody today comes close in that regard.

I’ve complained about McDermott but then I think of Tomlin in Pittsburgh. People seem to think of him as this God but he’s actually only won 1 Super Bowl. Plus his teams every year seem to have a few games they play down to the competition. My point is McD is a pretty solid coach. Based on the Sabres I wouldn’t expect the ownership group to get it right if they replaced him.

AOC: she’s young and good looking. But I mean if she’s going to be face of the Democratic in the next few years…. This is the stuff she gets worked up about. Trans bathrooms. It’s a blip on most people’s radar.

Not going to take beating the Patriots or Jets for granted. I think they'll both be playing hard as spoilers. But it's pretty safe to be confident the Bills will win out. It beats last year where it came down to the Dolphins game last year for the #2 seed.

Yeah. I think Steve Christie's recovery of the onside kick like that in the Comeback is one of the most underrated plays in Buffalo Bills history.

My favorite actress growing up. All her movies/roles from the 80s and 90s were great. Not as much a fan today but still like her. .. enough to start a Birthday thread. Just saw she finished the NY Marathon recently at 3:45 or something like that. Very impressive!

I haven't followed them much this year but yeah I rooted for them in the past to an extent. They were hospitable to the Bills in 2014 and 2022 with letting the team use their stadium after the snowstorms. That and I still recall after the game in 2018 a good number of Bills fans here posted positive stuff about Lions fans in the stadium.

Vincent Gallo really says it best the first 25 seconds of this video below. It is just deeper with this fanbase than other teams. Pittsburgh and Cleveland have great fans but I would still say unbiasedly the Bills are the most passionate in the NFL.

Dare I bring his name up but I did like Icebowl that Packers fan who used to post here sometimes. Seemed a nice guy and give outside perspective. I think though it sounded like he ghosted everyone when they actually wanted to meet him or something like that.

The Steelers/Browns Thursday night game in the snow was the best game this season. Old school rivalry and old school football elements to play in.

Depends on my mood that day. Too many times it just B.S. Conversations go in one ear and out the other. But there’s times it can be fun.

I graduated from a large public university in 2006. And a lot of the things I didn't like about it then are now things that seem to plague the Democratic Party: too far to the left and liberal, white men are viewed in a negative light, and too abstract economics. Outside of basic economics principles of supply and demand most of the coursework was too abstract in nature. It was just mathematical theory about how the economy should be run by "the man". Really a lot of my college education could be considered "woke" before there was that phrase for it. Even when Obama was still largely liked by people I do recall some thought of him as an elitist back in 2008. He had that quote about guns and religion he had to backtrack on. My point is how different is the population now than 15 years ago? I think Trump appealed to a lot of disinterested voters.
