Which do you more prefer?

Pretty good question. I mean myself I'm not a big draft follower as I don't really watch college football but Tre White, Milano, and Stevie J come to mind. Tre White- good but not on the team anymore Milano- good as well but has battled the injury bug of late Stevie J- great but he was only with the team for like 5 seasons. plus he was really more of a draft steal vs best pick So yeah I'd say it's definitely possible

Yeah my uncle used to work for Van Heusen's corporate office. Sometime around 2010/2011ish Van Heusen bought them. Due to the family connections above I remember one Saturday morning around that time 2010/2011ish getting a friends and family pass to buy the clothes dirt cheap at a warehouse of theirs. That was kinda the last I thought about them until recently.

At Macy's recently I saw they were selling Tommy Hilfiger suites and I saw someone with a Tommy Girl shirt today. I did not know they were still around. I always associated that brand with like the late 90's. When I was in middle and high school in the late 90s I had quite a lot of those shirts. My uncle worked for Van Huesen and that company bought them in the 2010s. That was the last I heard of their product. It seemed like it was dying out then. But perhaps it's making a comeback?

I got surprised when a bar tender asked me for money before he served me a beer not that sign ago. My thought is though good chance he got stiffed similar to this story

I’d add the Jaguars game in 2018 after Ramsey said he was trash and then on the 1st play Josh had that 75 yard TD bomb. That was the start of me having some confidence the team found its QB for the future

I was calm as well. But for me I think it’s because the team exceeded my expectations for the year so much to really get down on them if they lost. Although that would have been annoying to lose to the Phillies though. Haha Besides Grimace this was another one of those turning point moments I think this year. When the team adopted the OMG slogan. It seemed it was and is a great bonding point. And yeah seeing Mr and Mrs Met get down to the song is hilarious as well. Great stuff

For me unless it’s a contact I know it’s a no. Scammers these days are even more sophisticated being able to use local area numbers when the call number shows on the phone. And anyway that’s why there’s voicemail. At work sometimes I do it too. There’s a vendor chasing where I work down for money. I don’t answer when this particular vendor calls. It’s an issue above me at work but yeah a conversation like that I need all my ducts in a row before I engage.

I see it as you make a statement that the choices you're being dealt with are unacceptable. And the candidate would have to earn my trust to vote for them. Not take me for granted.

Funny clip. I liked Carlin's logic here. If you genuinely dislike the choices present you shouldn't feel you have to vote. Even if it's the lesser painful candidate kind of thing. Heck if one doesn't vote for anyone they can complain since they didn't put that person in office

This NY Mets team reminds me a little of the 2007 NY Giants. The Giants started that year poor, nobody really had expectations for them and when they made the playoffs it was more like Yeah nice story. Until they kept surprising everyone and winning on the road. And ironically their first playoff matchup against their arch rival Dallas came along the way. Ditto the Mets and the Phillies. So Yeah I say Why The Hell Not! Mets have as good a chance of any team left to win it all

So much for Ruffs revenge on his former team. I know it’s still real early but I woulda thought the Sabres would have started stronger. I can understand why Sabres fans would think fondly of Ruff but my 1st instinct with that hire is the team could do better.
