  1. Who do they replace? LoRax? Washington? Kind of a Dak Prescott situation. In any case, I think they will both be rotated in slowly.
  2. Lemon pepper wings are an option at my local in LA. I turned them down whenever I was offered one. Then I gave in and tried one. Delicious. A nice change of place.
  3. Yeah, that was horrible, might have cost them the win.
  4. Thanks for the summation. It helps clarify things.
  5. He's playing himself out of a big payday and off the team. Dreadful.
  6. Wow! Hell of a reference.
  7. Kelly has a long history of violence, uncontrollable temper and what appears to be a sense of entitlement because of athletic ability. So, just wondering if anyone has used "thug" in regards to him, particularly a certain element around here that generally is quick to use that word when the player isn't a Kelly type.
  8. Then there's Goff and Lynch...He won't be coming out for awhile but Sam Darnold is already impressive. Reminds me of Roethlisberger but better. USC has turned its season around and become one impressive team since Darnold took over. Kizer = EJ Kelly = Manziel with a taste for violence. I wouldn't touch either of them.
  9. As to Sammy, if he he is enough to come back for the last three or four games, I'm for it because we will need him in the post season. As to the other topic, I'm with John Fom Hemet. His opponent is so clearly hateful to only the black players, what else can it be called?
  10. In this moment in time when it seems all opinions are black and white (I'm right and you're evil. No, you're wrong and I'm the good person), let me offer a gray zone opinion. It is completely possible that Rex is an incompetent clown with a passe approach to the game, and that MW is a malingering malcontent whose career is in permanent decline. MW's '16 season does not validate Rex's awful '15 defense. Could be it was a mutual suck-a-thon.
  11. A real GM would have foreseen Marrone was going to quit and that the new owners would hire Rex. Whaley's a bum clearly.
  12. There is a certain sentiment among some that people have fought and died for the principles that make America great, such as the right to voice an unpopular and even repulsive opinion. But this same segment adds the proviso that if someone actually envokes that hallowed right, he or she should be attacked with hate and even violence. So why take pride in fighting for an American principle if actually using that right is considered wrong? Seems extremely contradictory. And extremely un-American.
  13. On another thread, Woods's drop percentage was determined to be less than 7%. That means he's catching over 96% of the passes. Hardly a "drop machine."
  14. Boy, that picture brings back memories. Where did you find it? Love the Karras quote.
  15. In other words, perfect SF weather.
  16. Your focus on the WR position overlooks the ugly truth that you could have Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens and Randy Moss in their prime and it wouldn't matter one bit if the QB can't get the ball to them. Until TT suddenly blossoms into a real NFL passer, or the Bills finally find a true "franchise QB," expending draft choices on high-end receivers is a waste of time and money.
  17. Just want to thank CornerBlitz for doing this every week. Always a nice job. Looks good too.
  18. How many times yesterday did the Rams convert on 3rd & long? Good QBs like Tom Brady and Russell Wilson will tear this defense apart. So, yes, let's please get Dareus out there as soon as possible and stop pretending the Bills are just fine witbout him because they're not.
  19. Minor but important point: The Congress created the laws, not the President. And, in case you didn't know this already, Hillary was not in either the Congress nor was she President. And her current proposals are to revisit and correct the original law. That's a "plan" so you got that part wrong too. Other than that, your post was highly factual and a font of wisdom. Thanks for your service.
  20. You made my point about Rex better than anyone else. Pegula might indeed by a Trump supporter but you don't know whether or not he is, nor do the players nor likely does anyone else outside a small circle of confidants. And that was the point about Rex and his inability to control himself, to think things through, to remember he's supposed to be working towards winning football games. Any thing he does that undermines that goal is, definitionally, idiotic.
  21. Typical response from your ilk.
  22. In, I think, the second pre-season game I started getting nervous about the RBs, including J. Williams, watching them get knocked around, caught behind the line, easily tackled. not breaking through. One after the other. They seemed small, and light. And I kept wishing Karlos was there, that he'd taken his career seriously and was the "thunder" to McCoy's "lightning." I think his absence (or that of a similar back) has hurt the offense all season long. If he has indeed gotten himself in shape, and made some mental changes, I'd welcome him back in a heartbeat. And if he adds what he did last year, I believe the Bills are suddenly a team to reckon with going forward. Fingers crossed.
  23. Yeah, he's got stones alright, and they're in his head. Job One for Rex is to win the SB, not to get The Trumper elected, so keep your political opinions to yourself, especially when the work force required to win that SB largely despises the guy you're backing. Any idea who Belichick is going to vote for? And he's got the whitest team in the NFL. How about Zimmer? McCarthy? Carroll? Any other NFL head coach? No, just our resident buffoon.
