  1. Whatever else is in the prospectus for the new coach the Bills hire when they finally rid themselves of the atrocious Rex, he should be someone who would wear well for at least ten years, someone who is personally on an even keel, which is why I'd be intrigued by Shaw and Peterson. I don't think Kelly has the temperament for the pros -- he's even a little too wired for college. The other two guys I'm not up on.
  2. Do you even know what a "liberal" or "conservative" is? Most of those who today call themselves conservatives most definitely are nothing of the sort.
  3. Y'all, huh? Just how far south of Buffalo are you, Bubba? I sure hope you are as strong on all the other rights we have as you are over the "militia" amendment. Oh, and as well-schooled as you are on Constitutional history, you probably know that it, and the entire "American Experiment," is totally, by definition, "liberal." We were founded by men profoundly influenced by the Scottish and French Enlightenments, which rejected religion and all mystical formulations as the basis of governance, instead making Man, Science and Reason the heart of our system. BTW, the Second Amendment was a sop to the South, where fearful rich white slavers were outnumbered by their "property." Thrifty New Englanders saw it as a way to get a military force on the cheap. Today guns seem to be most loved still by fearful white men.
  4. Jeez, your anger gets tiresome.
  5. I'd take Fitz everyday over Cutler.
  6. Nice breakdown. Thanks for all your excellent work.
  7. It also means wins...and as is pretty clear by now, most of the losses can be laid on the D. TT and the O have not been the problem even when he has us pulling out our hair. With the exact same O performances in the losses but better D play, the Bills would easily be sitting at 9 or 10 wins right now.
  8. It appears to me that the early season D, where Hughes, Lorax, the Brown Brothers, et al, were playing out of their minds, began to fall off from that level with the addition of Lawson and Dareus. Don't know if their presence is the reason or if it is coincidental. Maybe opponents have figured out how to handle the Bills, maybe the guys are nicked up or tired.
  9. The president elect certainly thinks so. Oh, mercy. I'll cross my fingers for you.
  10. Then you are a rational & intelligent observer.
  11. How did Seantrel and Groy look? Visiting in Cleveland so you know which game we watched.
  12. Clearly, Gilmore needs safety help. But that's anathema to Rex with his dated sacred "scheme." So, because Rex is a stubborn ninny, he's not going to modify his scheme, even though that means his corners are going to be lit up all afternoon.
  13. And consistency in performance and mechanics.
  14. They are more than capable of blowing the route & running into each other at top speed, knocking each other out for the season...all on the same play.
  15. Thanks. The site appears to be just about the money aspects although it teases more contract info if you sign up for the premium service, which I'm not going to do. They must get the details from somewhere authoritative which I guess must be the league office. Anyone know if that info is available to the general public?
  16. If any team is crazy enough to take a flyer on Romo, it most likely would be one that's Super Bowl close, which is not now, nor will it ever be, the Bills with Rex running the shop.
  17. What exactly does that mean? Get done what? Which right now is much higher than that of a fragile, often injured, way old golf nut.
  18. Help me out here: how do any of us get to know what's actually in a player's contract? I know we're told stuff like, "it's for three years, two guaranteed, with such and such a signing bonus" and so on. Is it available online, in full? Are just the highlights made public? I'd really like to see Dareus's full contract.
  19. Could have had Bronko Nagurski if someone had the damned sense to have a franchise. Fire Whaley!
  20. Lots of good suggestions so far. My one criticism is there are not enough secondary picks in any of these. The Bills need help...lots of it...at Corner and Safety. I suppose Whaley can pick up some with free agent signings, and maybe hit it again with some good off the radar signings. But they need a minimum of three & probably more. Love the idea of Adoree Jackson.
  21. Impossible. He's one of Whaley's many busts. I know, I read it here.
  22. I was asking who you would choose among TT, RT and MM, not Dalton. And for the record, I'd take all of them over Dalton.
  23. In.defense of Metz, Brady, Brees and Big Ben are in the twilight of their careers and Mariota is just beginning so the smart move is Mariota. And long term, I take him over Wilson. Your inclusion of Dalton I'm assuming was for comedic purposes.
