TNF: Rams vs. 49ers at 8:25 PM ET on NFLN

You know what I wish? I wish the Bills could find a GM who would have the sense to draft guys like Robey, Woods and Watkins. Wouldn't that be something? -

If The Scheme Isn't Broke Why Change It ??

That is NOT the O they're running in Denver this year and the O so far is much better. -
You have just nailed why the Bills O sucks and will suck until Rico is replaced. Sunday night would be fine with me. A key rule for anyone in management is that, once a problem is identified, the quicker steps are taken to fix it, the better. Dennison is Rex reborn, stubbornly wedded to his approach even if it doesn't fit the personnel and even if it isn't working. So will McD do what's clear he must do to fix this? If he doesn't, if he lets this go on for 14 more weeks, I have to question his ability to be a HC. After the second game of Rex's 1st season here, I called for his firing. The general response here was that I was out of my head. But the problems that would eventually cost him his job were already clear, it just took 2 years for the FO to gather up the courage to do what could have been done much sooner. The Bills essentially wasted 2 years because of Ryan's ineptitude and I think they're on the verge of doing it again.

Denver doesn't want to come here.

Me neither. And his play calling has been numbingly lame, boring and easily defensed. -
Final Play--- drop or bad throw poll

Just want to say, Kirby's posts on the topic are superb. -
He's widely called Rico, it's his nickname.

I whole-heartedly agree with your diagnosis. My question now is this: Does McD see and understand the problem with the offense, and does he take an "active" role in getting it corrected? And if getting it corrected might means firing Rico and Castillo, will he have the cojones to do it? If he just ignores the crap show that's the offense and lets it roll along all season, I think he loses a ton of support among the fans, and just maybe among the players too.

Yards Per Pass Twitter - Early All 22 footage

It's a recurring theme with every QB. -
Denver. And if the season goes to pieces and he has a shot at Darnold, would Carroll pick him?
-
One of his few? Huh.

Zay Jones drops huge catch. <radio edit>
yungmack replied to r00tabaga's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have watched that play several times, with all the angles available and that is on Jones 100%. What was he doing, stopping and facing completely BACK towards Tyrod? That's why the throw looks high...because stopped running. I don't think I have ever seen that before. Has anyone looked at the All-22? Can you make sense of it? Why should we? He's been screwing up his routes since training camp. I do believe Reilley would have caught it. But he's not on the squad, because he wasn't drafted and Jones was. Ball was exactly where it needed to be. Jones wasn't. You are aware that wasn't Sammy, right? He had to make that "incredible adjustment" because he totally screwed up. I think you mean "the hands of the receivers are ugly." I believe they're offering a course at the community college for those who don't understand football. You should look into it. The tape doesn't prove a thing??? You actually freely wrote that nonsense? I guess it makes sense, a lot of your other posts tend to be filled with "alternative facts" too. -
Attendance Issues in Cali and how it relates to us

Dead on accurate. And I've been here since the 60s. It was ever the same. Only thing I'd add is that UCLA traditionally outdraws SC. Now that's weird. Dead on accurate. Except for the house price. -

SC/Texas was a sellout. BTW, the area alomg Fig, from Eagle Rock right down to the Colosseum is one of the fastest developing in the country. The upgrading of downtown LA along that corridor includes plenty of upscale hotels, condos and apartments, Staples Center, booked out Convention Center, restaurants and bars, not to mention the huge expansion of USC into surrounding areas. However dangerous the neighborhoods around the Colosseum were in, say, the Raider days (it was actually more dangerous inside the stadium), they are much safer now. The whole area is similar to the area of Buffalo where there is talk of building a new stadium: a little rundown, a little edgy, but definitely on the up swing Loads of Bay Area fans did that all the years they were in LA. Fly in in the AM, fly out in the evening. -

Excellent analysis. This should end the discussion right there. But of course it won't, we're fans. -

Your post misses a couple of big changes in recent decades. First off, there's a substantial permanent population which, I believe, is equal to Buffalo's metro. Second, Vegas is essentially a suburb of LA these days. Especially for younger people, it's no biggie to jump one of the ton flights and go over for the day or night. Third, I expect Oakland people to make it there in large numbers like they did when the Raiders were in LA. As someone mentioned above, there will be plenty of packages for visiting teams which I think will be very popular. Don't know if they'll all make it to the stadium, but tickets will be sold. There is serious talk about a high speed train. We'll see. Personally, I wish they'd stay in Oakland. -

Completely agree with you, Scott. And you said it well. One thing I offer as a suggestion is to aggregate the daily TBN output into a single link as you currently do with, say, the Monday articles by the out of town papers.
