I want an interior DL who can eat blocks and disrupt at times would be ideal but I fully expect them to draft a CB due to the positional need. We all remember the last time Beane drafted for need at CB.

We lack any sort of pass rush in the playoffs, Abdul carter would change all of that. He is said to be on the same level as Micah Parsons, that would be an unreal addition to the pass rush.

He was bottom tier in the league against the run and pass just like Dane Jackson. I don't really understand this but i'll of course hope for the best, that's all we can do.

That’s the equivalent of never calling into work sick, never missing time with an injury, deaths in the family etc for 20 years. Never is a long time but I don’t think in our lifetime that this record will ever be broken imo.

Sorry late reaction but I'm definitely not offended I just don't get it LOL I may be down on Beane right now, there are many things that he's done that I don't like or agree with and I don't feel trey Amos is a 1st round talent now take that with a grain of salt as I'm not a professional draft guru but i watch a ton of college football although Ole Miss was not one of them so I'm basically going off of Youtube highlight videos for him but I'm not a fan of most of the corners deemed "1st rounders" this year I think it's a weak 1st round class for the position imo. Also on Amos, if Beane is being honest then if Amos has a weakness it's in run support which Beane stated was a major part of what they're looking for in a corner unless I interpreted his press conference wrong which I've done before. Again just my 2 pennies on the situation, I do like his size, the fact that he is best in zone coverage and plays physical is a plus.

This would be a low risk, high reward type of signing. If all that is holding him back is attitude then this would be a great locker room for him imo.

If they’ve already pegged Cam Ward or another prospect as their guy what due diligence other than attending his pro day, watching endless film, and interviewing should they do?

It’s not really an argument I just don’t think Amos is the best player in this circumstance or a 1st round talent again imo.
