This is what happens when you draft for need but I'd go Burch here and it's not really close.

I think it's a pretty solid move by New England, they already got their QB in Maye so no need for a developmental QB. They then drafted Milton in the 6th round and flipped him for a 5th which is solid value imo considering Milton is most likely never going to be much more than a backup at the NFL level or at his cieling maybe a low level QB 1.

Had WR Jerry Butler not broken his leg (I think it was in 86, same year as this) we would probably be having 2 of the greatest WR's of that era I have no doubt in my mind.

After that terrible deal the Panthers gave to Jaycee Horn I thought for sure Benford was all but gone. This really is a team friendly deal as if you put Horn's and Benford's stats side by side (The past 3 years) they are almost identical twins and you can even say benford wasn't thrown at much of last season so his stats are indicative of that.

I don’t need another platform to tell me he flopped in the AFCCG. The entire DL did and continues to be our Achilles heel when we need them to come up huge.

I disagree with this take. The offense had the ball with 2 minutes left, 2 timeouts so how is that on McDermott? Maybe get Allen a WR who he can actually count on like every single team that was in the playoffs aside from the Bills. The defense sucked but they got 2 stops at the end and our offense sputtered out when we needed them most, that's what happens when Mack freaking Hollins is your go to WR imo.

Of all the playoff teams last year name a worse receiving core? Maybe Denver? My hope since the season ended and the combine hit was that we either drafted WR Mathew Golden at 30 and now most likely need to trade up and grab him. He would give us a true weapon but won't have to be "the guy" right off the bat while he slowly grows into the role, That is my ideal scenario.

I’ve seen many posters on here calling Beane a wizard for re-signing our own. This is no different and the players the Bengals re-signed are all difference makers, I don’t think it will hinder them as long as they draft well which is not ideal for us if they do. Yes I’ve seen the Eagles losses but I have no doubt in my mind Howie Roseman will fill the losses appropriately as he’s done since they won a SB with Nick Foles.

As does every team that usually wins or goes to the SB, can't sign everyone but GM Howie Roseman continues to show hes an excellent talent evaluator so I'm sure he'll fill those positions in adequately. True but they had Hurts/Brown/Smith /Barkley under contract while having the best DL/OL in football is what I'm getting at. So my point is you can still build a SB winning team if you draft correctly as the Eagles just showed it was possible. Nobody was debating the trenches won the game for the Eagles, we all saw it.

The Eagles 32/yr for AJ Brown 25/yr for Smith 51/yr for Hurts 20.6/yr for Barkley Keeping the weapons for your QB isn't a dumb move imo as long as you draft properly.

I'm a yes for Campbell. He's still a disruptor at his advanced age which is rare, good pass rusher and is top tier against the run. He signed a 1 year 2M contract with the Dolphins I think we can spare it.
