  1. Are you asking me a question? I have no clue what actually happened but the way it's coming off from what I'm reading and hearing is that Beane went hard after Waddle and Williams and spent most of his time with those teams waiting to hear from them and missed out on players like Shaheed, whether or not that's the truth I have no idea if you have heard something else please feel free to let me know.
  2. Sounds like the guy we already have sitting at home with 0 interest, Mecole meet Keon.
  3. I don't think alot of us hate the idea and I don't want to speak for others but I don't think there is any way McDermott and his 1902 fundamental football philosphy matches with a dynamic offense like Daboll had. Plus if the rumors were true I wonder if Daboll would every play for McDermott again but I sure would love to see that reunion even if it were just as a consultant or however they list these guys when they come back.
  4. in my opinion it's both, the WR's don't seem to separate or at least separate fast enough but it's also on Brady, why does this guy continue to not get Cook involved in the passing game? If Coleman isn't an outside WR move him into the slot and see if he can become dominant there. Move Shakir to the outside and see if he still has the same juice there. TRY SOMETHING other than just putting out the same stale offense that heavily relies on Cook putting up 200 yards each week.
  5. Maybe 1 that isn't a gimmick WR like Samuel? A true #1 WR who he can't take off the field and becomes a security blanket when he's having games like today. You saw it on the last drive that Allen was literally doing everything on his own because these WR's cannot get open.
  6. It would be fitting that this regime would take yet another defensive player.
  7. Imagine thinking Gabe Davis who wasn't even good enough in Jacksonville is the savior of the WR group that's how terrible Beane is at drafting and acquiring WR talent since Diggs.
  8. Now these idiot coaches are trying to get Allen killed.
  9. What will that do? McDermott will still be the HC.
  10. You need to keep trying until you get 1, doesn’t have to be a 1st rounder every time but you have to try.
  11. Has he turned the corner or was it just 1 solid game where he played out of his mind? I really hope he’s turned the corner but I know by now not to get too high or low.
  12. This just infuriates me more, Beane refuses to upgrade the WR position in this past draft then goes on to scold the WGR morning show and now was said to be in on several WR talks at the deadline and then spends all his time trying to trade with division rivals who probably milked it out just so Beane couldn’t go after anyone else, you sir got PLAYED!
  13. Until the playoffs come and then we forget how to catch, drop passes and nobody can get open, nothing wrong with complaining about it as we all go to games, spend money on merch and are fans, what else are we supposed to do?
  14. I fault nobody if that's what you truly belive but for me I'd say we have the worst WR group of any playoff team and I'd even go as far as to say we may have the worst WR group in the entire NFL.
  15. Diggs did exactly what the team hoped and that was elevate both players, I have no beef with the trade at all and wished he'd do more like this deal.
  16. I agree and I wasn't even that upset that he didn't pick up anyone at the deadline (more surprised) but hearing the "I tried" speel just doesn't fly with me (not that it matters because I can't do a thing about it lol).
  17. I guess we'll save it for Coleman 2.0 next season 😀
  18. Yes so was DK.... Oh i see why you said that. I just mean't there were some guys out there in FA and trades like DK and Pickens, my bad.
  19. Man hearing that Beane press conference today almost sounded like Buffalo Sabres GM talking about nobody would come here because we don't have palm trees and taxes. I get that he feels like he had to explain himself but i wished he'd have just said there was nothing out there that made sense and moved on instead of the whole "It takes 2 to tango" garbage (Again I understand it was probably the truth but I hated it). Also now I'm hearing how he was trying to go after multiple top WR at the deadline. After bitching to the fans and the hosts on WGR about wanting a WR when Allen just broke records is comical to say the least, why not just sign a real WR in FA? DK was out there, George freaking Pickens, I just don't understand the refusal to upgrade it and even if things like the Cooper deal don't work out just keep trying. This guy cares more about the future than the present and as long as he isn't squandering all the picks on bums we should be fine.
  20. I was always in the corner of re-signing Cook just not at 15M so to me he'll be worth every penny if he keeps doing what he's doing and hopefully they start incorporating him in the passing game also, it's truly infuriating me that they don't. My only concern is that there isn't much running available other than the Ravens in the playoffs, even Barkley had only 57 yards on 25 carries in the SB, Hurts was the leading rusher with 72 so that is why I was hoping for another weapon for Allen to throw to if the run game wasn't working that well but hopefully that weapon will be Cook.
  21. Did you not see what just happened to Travis Hunter? Hairston is starting to gain confidence.... Confidence with that speed could be something special, something we haven't had at the position since Gilmore perhaps?
  22. Jets won 100%, to get 2 1sts for gardner who was struggling and Quinnen Williams is a solid player but hasn't been elite for 2 years now imo so 1 st, 2nd and a former 1st rounder in Mazi Smith was quite a haul for those guys now lets hope they screw up those picks like usual.
  23. I never thought Shaheed or Meyers was much of a fit and I know some posters brought up that both have time as outside WR but I don't think it's a natural fit for them as I think Shaheed was forced to the outside with the Olave concussions and Meyers forced there when Adams was traded but that's just my opinion. I would have loved to get Olave but I don't think the Saints ever had interest in trading him and with good reason but I definitely find it odd that they didn't trade for a pass rusher at all considering the Hoecht news, there had to have been someone who could come in and help. Also what a weird move restructuring Poyer like that, what was he freeing up space for, more guys on injured reserve? To me it's not the end of the world but 1 injury to Kincaid/Shakir or another top defensive player and it could be catostrophic. I just hope Beane did all the correct calling on some pass rushers and Olave (we'll never know) but just couldn't find a suitor. If we come to find out he didn't want to give up draft picks for players I don't think that's going to sit well with alot of people, me included.
