  1. I agree, I think they go WR Zay Jones or Chris Godwin in round 2.
  2. The build up to Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg was awesome, unfortunately it was better than the match itself. Hopefully it's better this time around.
  3. Thomas was the #1 TE nationally coming out of HS.... http://www.hokiesports.com/football/players/thomas_logan.html I see a tremendous upside there considering he played the position at a high level already so it's not like he's learning a new position, I don't see any downside to him being here as a TE, if he fails it was a cheap option that didn't work out.
  4. He whiffed on a lot of tackles just like a lot of guys did, I wouldn't mind bringing him back but not break the bank.
  5. Here is a piece Tim Graham wrote on the matter http://buffalonews.com/2016/12/18/roster-data-shows-bills-gm-doug-whaley-not-building-roster-creating-nfls-biggest-hole/ My take is that Whaley has no plan or vision and just goes out and gets players who fit a scheme of the coach, is definitely more comfortable with FA than the draft, if that's the case Jim Monos should do a heck of alot better evaluating players for Whaley. His trades other than LeSean McCoy aren't very good, people say Jerry Hughes but after his payday the decline has been significant, the trade for RB Bryce Brown was a joke, Whaleys version of a franchise QB so far to me is a big bodied, strong armed, prototype, mobile with accuracy issues which is probably why he wants to part ways with Taylor and why he's in love with guys like Cardale Jones and probably Deshone Kizer. I like his FA pickups but even with Brown/Alexander the tackling was dreadful.
  6. I'm never a fan of going on a FA spree, it usually has serious cap implications later on, I think were spending the money wisely on character players who will make an impact right away, Hyde and Poyer will play all over the field in all different scenarios, same with Tolbert and Dimarco. I still don't like our RT/WR or CB situation but they can be filled via the draft or a low level FA, I would like the team to sign WR Victor Cruz as the slot WR, it was his bread & butter in NY and we have a need for a veteran WR, the guy comes with a SB ring.
  7. He'll be making 6M per season, 14M guaranteed, he'll be a starter for sure.
  8. Both Gillislee and Groy were tendered by the Bills, if anyone gives them an offer, Buffalo has the right to match. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Bills-tender-Gillislee-and-Groy/199a0340-2858-4f35-8b48-a9a744d81f71
  9. I'm ill like the rest of you with this signing, the only reasoning I can think of is that they thought Mills would be better as a more athletic OT in Dennisons system with the bootlegs, 2 TE sets etc.
  10. If nobody can tell were going to the power run game with the 2 FB we just selected, I highly doubt WR at 10, were going to run McCoy/Gillislee into the ground with Tolbert/Dimarco sharing all the short yardage and goaline duties imo.
  11. QB Logan Thomas is listed as a TE already on the Buffalo Bills website, he was a highly recruited TE coming into VT and transitioned into a QB, he can be an all pro TE for sure with the right coach, Clay, Thomas, O'leary seem good to me, I like Howard but it would seem more of a luxury pick than a good selection imo. Were thin at WR and CB both of which we go in the 1st or 2nd imo, either Lattimore/Davis or Williams round 1 or Zay Jones, Chris Godwin, Tankersly etc in the 2nd.
  12. Micah Hyde will be a fan favorite very quickly, he's a hard worker, good in coverage and tackles well. I've followed him from Iowa, very excited we signed him.
  13. Hightower to me is another Ragland, why go and get the exact player we already have? I already see people complaining about Ragland being too slow yet Hightower ran a 4.68 compared to Raglands 4.72.
  14. I actually like what they've done so far to be honest and that's odd for me, I didn't like the Tyrod signing but at that price it's a bargain. Hyde is essentially the player Williams was before the injuries so to me we are getting his old self back and Poyer for graham seems like an upgrade to me, Graham was definately getting burned on the weekly. The only head scratcher move to me was cutting Nickell Robey-Coleman and thats only because the shortage at that position already and I don't see much better options out there imo. I don't get the 2 FB's either, 1 I get but unless the other is going to be a TE.
  15. Tyrod Taylor threw a 50, guess we better sign and trade http://blogs.ourlads.com/2016/03/02/quarterback-ball-velocity-at-nfl-combine-2008-2015/ These are about as telling as hand length.
  16. We weren't beating the Pats anyways, we needed WR Brandin Cooks to be traded there to freak out? They are obsessed with winning, hopefully our new coaches adopt that philosophy and hopefully we start picking up another CB soon
  17. I figured this would happen, I liked the home town part when he got here, he had a good 1st season but last year he was burned early and often. right now I'm liking Poyer/Hyde and think we upgraded there.
  18. I don't make many threads but being on here the short while I have already, I can tell you that you have the same type of posters as the BBMB did, just not as many.... I heard you have a Pegula Jet landing spot guy (We had one also), I saw in a thread you have a guy with "Sources" (we had plenty of those guys), You have the Tyrod Taylor is good no matter what look at my pie chart/ squiggly line chart etc. guy (Again plenty of those and now I just saw the "Relax it will all be ok this season" guy, we had that to, see were not so different after all.
  19. It's good to see there are "RELAX" threads on here too, thought it was just the BBMB, I feel at home now.... now I will RELAX.
  20. I'm a fan of Glennon, He's got a good arm and threw the ball well for being on a very bad overall team. I think he'll be a solid QB if they surround him with some good talent.
  21. He's so desperate that he got busted smoking weed by the NFL what 3 times? He hasn't played in 2-3 full seasons, there is no way he's our best option, I'd rather draft a young player who actually loves the game in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  22. Wow a brilliant move by the Browns? They get a 2nd round pick to take a salary cap dump off another team. That is awesome!!!
